- Duchess of Cambridge today launched her new initiative, The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood
- Kate Middleton, 39, carried out two engagements this afternoon to support the launch of the centre
- The mother-of-three has championed the importance of early childhood development for the last 10 years
launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, an umbrella of her charitable organisation which will “drive awareness of and action on the extraordinary impact of the early years, in order to transform society for generations to come.”
Kate announced the news on Friday, releasing a video and sharing the results of the Centre’s first commissioned report, Big Change Starts Small. Kensington Palace notes that these announcements “signals her lifelong commitment to improving outcomes across society.”

かねてから、というより、ご結婚からこれまでの10年間
キャサリン妃がパトロンとして、関わってこられた
様々な中毒症や、またメンタルヘルスの問題を抱える人達の多くが
実は、子供時代に原因となりうる問題をかかえていたことが明らかになり
重要なことは、”子供“をサポートするということ以前に、
妊娠から5年の間がとても重要
その後の人生にも大きな影響を与えることがわかったことで、
メインは、幼児期にフォーカス
その時期の重要性を訴え、
社会的に取り組むべきであるという結論に至り
大きなプロジェクトに、というわけですね。
キャサリン妃にとっては、まさに
これまでの10年間のお仕事の集大成としての成果ともいえる
大きな取り組み。
大きな変化も、
始まりは小さなことから。

Writing in the foreword of the Big Change Starts Small report, Kate said: 'Our first five years lay important foundations for our future selves'

Kate met with parents who have helped to shape her understanding of the importance of providing support for parents during the earliest years of children's lives.
Parents spoke to her about their experiences, while she explained what she hopes the centre will achieve for future generations

チャリティマラソンの
”サンドリンガム・ハーフマラソン”が開催されていたようですが、
その場に、ウィリアム王子とお子様たちのお姿が！
どうやら、ハーフマラソンのスタートのカウントダウンを一緒にされたようですね。
参加者はそりゃあ大喜びでしょう❤️
いいなあ〜〜（笑）
きっと
チャリティマラソンに参加した方達へのご褒美、

それにしても、お二人がデっかいっ！！！
って、毎回言ってる気がするけれど、いや、ホント、成長がすごい！
