Kate's Hold Still initiative.
In a video message to encourage more entries Kate Middleton, 38, said: 'There have been so many amazing entries to Hold Still over the last few weeks.
'From families up and down the country showing how they are adapting to life during lockdown, through to some of the most amazing NHS and social care staff who are putting their lives on the line to save the lives of others.
'But it isn't too late to take part. So please take a moment to capture what life is like for you, because together I hope that we can build a lasting illustration of just how our country pulled together during the pandemic.
'I can't wait to share the final 100 images with you.'

'Working from home' by Roseangela Borgese, features a working dad with his back to the camera while in the foreground a toddler lies sprawled on the ground surrounded by toys

'Sleeping Colleagues Unmasked' by Jane Roe shows two nurses, wearing intensive care branded uniforms, asleep on a sofa after a tiring day working on the frontline

Another entry, 'Glass Kisses' by Steph James, shows a shielding elderly lady sending a kiss to her loved one from behind a window. Elderly and extremely vulnerable people have been 'shielding' from coronavirus for the last three months, meaning interactions between family members have taken on unconventional means

n another poignant entry, 'Biba Behind Glass' by Simon Murphy, a girl can be seen with her face behind a pane of glass as she keeps herself safe from the deadly virus

The heartwarming entry 'Life Goes On' by Matthew Williams shows a nurse in protective equipment, holding a newborn baby that has just been welcomed into the world

Kate, who spearheaded the campaign, is a patron of the National Portrait Gallery and a keen amateur photographer, aims to capture a snapshot of the UK at this time, with the help of the nation.
The Duchess will personally curate 100 photographs for the Hold Still exhibition.
People from across the UK are invited to submit a photographic portrait which they have taken during these extraordinary times for the community project.
Participants are also encouraged to provide a short written submission to outline the experiences and emotions of those depicted in their photograph.
Hold Still is completely free, open to all ages and abilities, and will focus on three core themes - 'Helpers and Heroes', 'Your New Normal' and 'Acts of Kindness'.

With one week left to submit your entries to the 'Hold Still' project, The Duchess of Cambridge has shared some of the amazing images and stories that have been submitted so far.

Every story matters and telling yours during lockdown is what this project is all about, so please take the time to share your images and experiences before Thursday 18th June at 6pm.

You can submit an image through the link in our bio, and have the chance to be one of 100 photographs on display in a virtual exhibition hosted by the

@nationalportraitgallery for people all around the world to see.

She also chose this one of a hectic household, with a little girl singing Frozen's Let It Go as her family tries to work (上)

The images revealed the reality of life for many amid the coronavirus lockdown - including 'band practise at a distance' by Becky Wickes. The Duchess loved this image for the way it communicates a sense of 'community' spirit

The final image chosen by Kate is one of a hospital worker dressed in full PPE titled 'the man behind the mask'. She encouraged viewers not to forget the human sacrifice of the frontline NHS staff in the fight against COVID-19

very first Zoom call, with Princess Anne, to mark carers week.
After a life of service, this was a first for the monarch

"Carers Week 2020"

6 / 8 〜 14

”The Carers Trust”

”The Carers Trust”

To mark "Carers Week 2020"

The Queen and The Princess Royal spoke to a group of carers who are supported by The @Carers.Trust to find out more about the challenges they face.

The Princess Royal has been President of The Carers Trust since it was launched in 2011.

The Trust provides support to carers across the UK through their network of partners, as well as giving carers a voice and highlighting their work to the general public.

”Carers Trust”

We support unpaid carers caring for a family member or friend who is ill, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems.

from a sitting room at Windsor Castle, the Queen spent 20 minutes listening to the women about their experiences and asking questions about the pressures they face
The conference call took place on June 4 but a clip from the conversation was shared on the Royal Family Twitter account this morning to mark Carers Week.
Princess Anne, patron of the Carers Trust, phoned in from her country home of Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire.

The Queen and Princess Anne heard from four women who are all the primary carers for family members. They spoke about the different roles that carers have to play and the challenge of juggling their own physical and mental health with that of their loved ones.
Nadia Taylor, 44, of London, who looks after her mother, father, husband and her daughter, said the Queen spoke for about 20 minutes.
She said: 'The call was about 45 minutes and the Queen was on for about 20 minutes of that. She asked us all questions.
Miss Atkins said: 'The Queen actually took it in her stride as well. What was really nice was that, while you could tell she had never done that kind of call for work before, she really took it in her stride.
'She was listening to what we were saying and paraphrasing it back to us. It felt lovely to be so appreciated.'
She added: 'To have them both talking face to face to us, was just unreal It hit me that I was sitting in my bedroom talking to the Princess Royal and the Queen.'

The Queen, 94, joined the Princess Royal, 69, on a conference call with four carers living across the UK who have been responsible for looking after family during the coronavirus crisis.
Speaking from a sitting room at Windsor Castle, the Queen spent 20 minutes listening to the women about their experiences and asking questions about the pressures they face.
the Queen says: 'Interesting listening to all your tales and stories. I'm very impressed by what you have achieved already. I'm very glad to have been able to join you today.'
