Among the guests were representatives of the late Queen’s former
charities and patronages, as well as a group of special centenarians
celebrating their 100th birthdays today.
一連のイベントが行われ、
まず、大英博物館にて
チャールズ国王＆カミラ王妃ご夫妻をはじめ
エディンバラ公爵ご夫妻、グロスター公爵ご夫妻、レディ・サラ・チャットなどが
出席
女王の生誕100周年を記念して製作された
エリザベス 二世、フィリップ殿下のミニ彫像や
新たに生まれ変わった、メモリアル・ガーデンのミニチュアをご覧に。
（これらはともに、来週から一般公開される予定です）
また、ここにレディ・サラ・チャットのお姿が。。
この方の存在が、密かに注目されている、、、
アンドルー元王子ご一家の姿が公の場から消えた今
この方の登場が増えるかも、、？
一方、アン王女は、
リージェント・ガーデンの”メモリアル・ガーデン”
にて、除幕式とスピーチ
午後は、皆様がバッキンガムパレスに戻られ、
この日のハイライト
国王主催の、レセプションが、バッキンガムパレスで開催
ここから、ウィリアム皇太子とキャサリン妃も出席
さらに、90歳のケント公に、89歳のアレクサンドラ王女も！
アンドルー元王子とご一家が公の場から消えた今
現在の上級メンバーと言える方々が、揃った形
会場となったのは、バッキンガムパレス内のマーブルホール
バンティングが吊るされ、ストリートパーティーさながら
明るく、リラックスした雰囲気のレセプション
「 100」と記された大きなケーキも。
思えば、ウィリアム皇太子ご夫妻と
エディンバラ公爵ご夫妻との４ショットも久々！
高齢化が否めない高位メンバーの顔ぶれですが
面白いことに、それぞれのファッションは
見事に被らないどころか、
色もテイストも様々
存在感や個性の違いが現れていて、
これぞロイヤルらしさ
その中で、最も若き皇太子妃、キャサリン妃と
ソフィー妃が、わかりやすくファッションに
エリザベス女王へのオマージュが❤️
この日、キャサリン妃は
女王の記念すべき100歳のバースデーイベントということで、
新たなドレスを新調！
久々に、キレイな色のドレスをお披露目！
なにせ、最近シック傾向で、ダークな色が中心でしたからねえ、、
やっぱプリンセスは、明るい色が良い！❤️
上品なラベンダーの、フィット＆フレアーのドレスは

久々に登場したブランド＆新アイテムですが、
これまでにも、同じ色だったり
似たデザインの膝丈ドレスを何枚かおもち

最近頻繁に着用されている

をこの日も合わせて、エレガントなカラーコーデ
ジュエリーには、
エリザベス女王へのオマージュが感じるものを選ばれた
キャサリン妃
イヤリングは、女王の生前から度々お借りになっていた

そして、最も印象的だったのが、ネックレス！❤️
３連のパールネックレスも、
エリザベス女王が愛用されていたもので
これまで２度、2022年と2023年に黒のドレスに合わせて着用
3連パールネックレスといえば、
まさに、エリザベス女王のマストアイテム
毎日お着けになっていたものは、もう少し短いもので
長さこそ異なるものの、亡き女王のアイコニックなパール３連ネックレスと
敬意と想いがうかがえます。
むしろこれらのジュエリーをメインに
お洋服を選ばれた可能性も？ありかも。。
ちなみに、もう一つ
まさかに、この日、ふと気づいてしまった、、
というか見えてしまった、、、
キャサリン妃の親指に、またもバンドエイドが！！（笑）
付け根に近いところに位置していて、今回の原因は何？
これまでにも何度かありましたねえ、、、
未だ、これを貼ってレセプションに出席しちゃうところは、
相変わらずで、そんな生活感のあるキャサリン妃が好き❤️

印象としては、むしろこの方だけ、
追悼の意が強く感じられるような装い、、

The King and
Queen were joined by other members of the Royal Family at the British
Museum to view a scale model of the new national memorial to commemorate
the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
Their Majesties and Their Royal
Highnesses met memorial designer Lord Norman Foster as well as the
three artists producing work for the site. The model will remain on
public display at the British Museum.
The tribute will overlook
The Mall in central London, and is inspired by the 1955 portrait of the
Queen at age 28 by Italian artist Pietro Annigon.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are in sync with their horse tributes
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh had subtle tributes to the late Queen
in their outfits. Both featured tributes to horses, one of the late
Queen's passions, with Edward's tie being decorated with the animal,
while Sophie's dress featuring riding boots.
The late Queen's niece, Lady Sarah Chatto, also made an appearance at the event.
At the British Museum, Charles and Camilla were shown
the final designs for a memorial to the King's late mother. One of
these features a likeness of his mother, in the form of a maquette which
depicts her in her 20s and in her Order of the Garter robes from the
early years of her reign. Another artwork features Charles' late father,
Prince Philip, in his naval uniform.
Other members of the family gathered in the museum's circular Reading Room to see the scale model of the upcoming memorial in St James's Park, featuring tiny trees and people and the new additions. The memorial will feature a Queen Elizabeth Bridge in glass and steel inspired by the late monarch's wedding tiara, gardens with winding paths, a Commonwealth Wind Sculpture by artist Yinka Shonibare, and a bust of Her Late Majesty by sculptor Karen Newman on Birdcage Walk.

While other members of the royal family are at the British Museum, Princess Anne was instead at Regent's Park for the opening of the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Garden. Ahead of the opening, the Princess Royal was seen speaking with some of the gardeners.
During her opening of the memorial garden, Anne was gifted a special present, a striking metal rose from the garden.
After officially opening the gardens, Anne gave a short speech. The gardens will be opened to the public next week on 27 April

It would appear that the Princess of Wales is prone
to the odd injured hand - as she regularly seems to have a plaster
wrapped around one or two fingers
Kate is also a keen gardener, so she could very easily be a bit accident-prone when pruning. Her injury in 2023 was said to have happened after playing with her three children on the trampoline at their home in Windsor.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said the hurt finger was 'a small injury, nothing serious', adding they were not broken.
