今回は厚め素材のコートの中ということで、
ボリューム負けしてる
肌着っぽく見えるから、
襟元のあるものを着た方が良い。

"The National Football Museum"

is located in Manchester's Urbis building. It was founded to preserve, conserve and interpret several important collections of association football memorabilia. Over the first six weeks of opening the museum welcomed over 100,000 visitors and in just over two years over 1 million had walked through the turnstiles. Visitors enjoy world class objects (over 2,500 are on display at any one time), ground breaking interactives and a changing programme of temporary exhibitions, linking football to topics as diverse as fashion, history, art and World War 1.

Roger Hunt, 78, was on the England team that won the World Cup in 1966, shows the royals his winners' medal 

which is currently on display in the museum.

He also asked the royal whether he played football.

'I play a little bit,' 

William said,

' at school and university mostly. Rugby I've stopped, too many injuries. I do a bit of swimming as well. You still playing?'

'Well I play a bit of golf,' the former international replied.

'We do quite a bit of running around after our kiddies,'

『戦没者慰霊碑 献花』

@ Manchester Town Hall, 

 attended a ceremony 

to lay commemorative paving stones 
honouring Manchester's six Victoria Cross recipients 
as part of the First World War Centenary campaign. 

As part of a UK Government First World War Centenary campaign, special paving stones are being laid in the hometowns of all those in the United Kingdom who were awarded the Victoria Cross. The VC is the highest decoration for bravery under enemy fire. The Palace added "These paving stones have been presented to councils in the areas where First World War Victoria Cross recipients were born. It is hoped that the stones will provide an enduring legacy of local heroes and enable residents to gain a greater understanding of the impact the war had on their community"

Kensington Palace tweeted "628 Victoria Crosses were awarded in WW1. Of these, six recipients were born in Manchester"

『Francis House ホスピス』

a hospice which cares for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions

Francis House cares for over 370 sick children, teenagers & young adults with a short life expectancy. Providing support & friendship for the whole family

最後はこちらのホスピス
1991年11月にダイアナ元妃が
公式オープンさせたホスピスらしい。

25周年記念と、
新たに建設された
宿泊施設を記念し
除幕式にも出席

スタッフにもお会いに。

The Lodge started out as a four-bedroom house. It was a unique opportunity to trial different types of equipment and ways of working and informed decisions on the building of a new wing at Francis House. The new £3.5 million wing created a seven-bedroom extension to the hospice and became known as Francis Lodge. Respite care is now provided for 113 young people over the age of 16, with different care and emotional needs.

She and her twin sister, Mary, served with thousands of other young women as part of the great Allied effort to break enemy codes. They hardly ever talked about their wartime service, but we now know just how important the men and women of Bletchley Park were, as they tackled some of the hardest problems facing the country.

64 years, eight months and seven days — and counting

The Queen’s has broken many records over the years due to her longevity. Last year, she became Britain’s longest ever reigning monarch, overtaking Queen Victoria who was on the throne for 23,226 days.

In 2007, she became the oldest Monarch in British history (a record also taken from Queen Victoria) as well as holding the record as the longest-married Monarch. She is the only British monarch to have celebrated a diamond wedding anniversary, and will in a couple of years time celebrate 70 years of marriage.

At the end of 2015, Her Majesty became the 46th longest-reigning Monarch in world history. Her Platinum Jubilee would take place in 2022 making her the 20th longest-reigning in world history.

The longest reigning monarch in history is Sobhuza II Paramount Chief and later King of Swaziland for 82 years and 254 days.

King Bhumibol was the longest reigning monarch in the world during his lifetime. His health had been poor for quite some time and he had not appeared in public in the last year of his life.

For the last few years the monarch spent most of time in the hospital for various illnesses. Shortly before his death he had undergone an procedure to drain fluids from his spine. Afterwards he was placed on a ventilator and was said to be in an unstable condition.

Following the King’s death it is likely that there will be a long period of mourning, perhaps up to a year.

King Bhumibol was succeeded by his son, Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.

William described the eight-day trip to Canada as 
"good fun" 
and said he and Kate were delighted to be travelling as a foursome with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Speaking as he arrived , he told the organisation's CEO Amanda Pullinger: 
"We had a busy week. It was good fun. It was nice to take the children with us as well.

"They were on best behaviour so it was good. The jet lag has been a bit interesting since we got back."
