とってもフォーマルな公式行事ガウン、ティアラは必至

それと、

も着用されるはず。

Cartier Halo Tiara

The little known "Halo" tiara - also known as the Queen Mother Scroll Tiara - was loaned to Kate by the Queen for her 2011 nuptials.

It was made by Cartier in 1936 and bought by the Queen's father, then the Duke of York, for the Queen Mother, then the Duchess of York.

The tiara was given to the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, by her mother on her 18th birthday

Kate could even borrow the Papyrus Tiara - also known as the Lotus Flower Tiara - again after wearing it in 2013. It is made of diamonds in fanned motifs crowned by floating diamond arches.

It was owned by the Queen Mother, who used to wear it low on her forehead, and was later given to Princess Margaret

Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara

Kate might choose this in a nod to her title of Duchess of Cambridge. It was given to Diana, Princess of Wales, by the Queen as a wedding gift in 1981 and she wore the piece often.

The diamond and pearl-encrusted tiara was made in 1914 by Garrard and has a strong French influence with a neo-classical design of 19 diamond arches, each cradling an oriental pearl drop

It was designed by the Queen's grandmother Queen Mary and based on one owned by Mary's grandmother Princess Augusta who married the first Duke of Cambridge.

The piece was composed of existing jewels Queen Mary had in her collection: the dismantled Some Ladies of England Tiara as well as some pearls from brooches belonging to Mary.

After Mary died in 1953, the tiara passed to her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth, who wore it regularly in the 1950s but phased it out.

While Princess Diana wore the piece regularly, she is said to have found it too heavy and gave her a headache. It was also a loan and not part of her personal property so it's back in the Queen's collection.

Another option similar to the Cambridge Lover's Knot is the Vladimir Tiara which also features dropped pearls but has 15 interlaced diamond circles instead

The Spencer Tiara

Kate could select this tiara in tribute to the Duke of Cambridge's mother. Diana, Princess of Wales, wore the Spencer family heirloom at her wedding to the Prince of Wales, and many times after.

The piece has an elaborate design of stylised flowers decorated with diamonds in silver settings. It was looked after by William's uncle Earl Spencer until William and Harry both turned 30 when it was inherited by the princes.

Earl Spencer once recalled how the tiara gave Diana a splitting headache on her wedding day because she was not used to wearing it.

State Banquet Preparations

Plans will be very much in action at Buckingham Palace ahead of Tuesday's state banquet, which will have been meticulously planned with every minute detail taken into consideration in recent months. The event takes no less than ten days to prepare and on the night seventy-six members of staff - from underbutlers to page boys - ensure each plate is laid down at precisely the same time

1,700 pieces of mismatched baroque, rococo and neo-classic cutlery to be placed at each of the 170 table settings precisely 46 cm apart. Crockery is taken from King George IV’s 4,000 piece Grand Service, which takes a team of eight three weeks to unpack and repack. 1,104 glasses - six for each guest to contain water, champagne for the toast, red wine, white wine, champagne or sweet wine and port - must be laid on the pristine 175-foot dining table
