"Paddington Bear" と会う☆
In the evening, The Duke of Cambridge was greeted by a familiar British figure - Paddington Bear – at the Shanghai Film Museum for the Chinese premiere of Paddington. Here, leading Chinese film industry figures and members of the Paddington team, including producer David Heyman, joined The Duke on the red carpet
to see creative work by children from a local Chinese and British International schools and, as proud President of BAFTA, he will give a special BAFTA mask to the Museum for their collection. The Duke will also present a gift to the Museum of some rare footage of old Shanghai, recently restored by the British Film Institute.
Before the screening, which was attended by a host of Chinese film stars and producers, the Duke of Cambridge told the 500 guests that he hoped more Chinese people would consider studying film in his native country.
He also thanked Paddington Bear for escorting him up the carpet, and revealed that he is a big fan of the character who is originally from Peru
