キャサリン妃が公務に！！！！

もちろん、サプライズ

先月、化学療法の治療が完了したことを報告、

慎重に調整しながら公務に復帰すると発表されて以来

先週には、ウィンザー城でのお仕事姿が、初めて公開されましたが、

公の場での、いわゆる公務は、これが初めて！

この日、ウィリアム皇太子とキャサリン妃が

訪問されたのは、サウスポート。

この場所といえば、

7月29日に起こった痛ましい事件、、、

テイラー・スウィフトをテーマにした子供向けダンス教室に入ってきた男によって

3人の少女が刺殺

ベベ・キングちゃん（6歳）、エルシー・ドット・スタンコムちゃん（7歳）、アリス・ダシルヴァ・アギアーちゃん（9歳）

その他にも8人の子供達や、2人の大人が刺傷

しかも事態は、それだけで終わらず

地元モスクや警察署への放火など街で暴動が。

さらには英国内にまで広がり暴徒化、、、

事件当時、皇太子ご夫妻は、衝撃とともに被害者への哀悼メッセージを出され

その後も、事件に注視されてきた。

キャサリン妃は、事件後に発表された個人的な声明で、こう述べられた。

「今日サウスポートで死傷された方々のご家族、ご友人、愛する方々のお気持ちを、親として想像することすらできません」

チャールズ国王は、直後に声明を出され

8月にサウスポートを訪問、追悼をされている。

ウィリアム皇太子も、遺族と地元コミュニティにできる限り早く訪問することを願われていたそうで、それが今日に予定されていたらしい。

そこにキャサリン妃も同行された形のようだが

決められたのは、やはり最近だそう。

皇太子妃の決定は、

「地元コミュニティへの支援、共感、思いやりを示したかった」からだそう。

事件で命を落とした3人の少女の遺族を慰めるため、

夫とともにサウスポートに。

ウィリアム皇太子とキャサリン妃は、

少女たちの家族一人一人と、30分ほどプライベートに時間をもたれた。

また、子供たちを庇い重傷を負った、

ダンス教師のリアン・ルーカス（35歳）ともお会いに。

ウィリアム皇太子＆キャサリン妃による

遺族や関係者への配慮から、できるだけ目立たぬようにと

少人数の報道陣を除き、この訪問は意図的に控えめに行われた。

被害者家族との面会は完全に非公開で行われ、

皇太子ご夫妻がお帰りになるまで、公に発表もされず。

ご夫妻はその後、緊急隊員たちとお会いになるため

徒歩で、地元のコミュニティセンターへ。

そこでは、刺殺事件の余波に巻き込まれた緊急対応者たちとお会いになり

彼らの経験について話を聞いたり、

サウスポートのブルーライト・コミュニティに長期的なサポートを提供するために活動しているメンタルヘルスの専門家とお話をされたりした。

キャサリン妃は、救急隊員たちから、3人の少女の家族の様子について尋ねられ

「皆さんそれぞれ異なり、どの家族もそれぞれ違います。

この悲劇的な出来事にどう対処しているのか、その対処の仕方はそれぞれ違いますが、

家族や警官からサポートを受けたりしています。

コミュニティーのさまざまな人たちと経験について話す機会を持ち、

その経験を共有することは、非常に大切なことだと思います」

そして、キャサリン妃は、遺族に代わって、

「ありがとうございます」とも。

ウィリアム皇太子も隊員たちに

『皆さんはヒーローです。くれぐれも体調に気をつけて、

ゆっくりと焦らずに仕事に戻ってください』

と話された。

キャサリン妃は彼らを「真のヒーロー」と称え、

ウィリアムは彼らを「真のプロフェッショナル」と呼んだ。

3ヵ月後の今、サウスポートの人々に、自分たちが忘れられていないこと、

そして今日もこれからもコミュニティに寄り添い続けることを示すために、

3ヶ月後の今、お二人がこの場に行くことが重要であったと理解されている。

”Royal Foundation”は、

刺殺事件とそれに続く暴動に巻き込まれた警察官や救急隊員の

心理的・身体的リハビリを迅速に進めるために、

”National Police and Wellbeing Service”へ寄付を行われた。

William and Catherine's Royal Foundation made a donation to the the National Police and Wellbeing Service's fundraiser to help fast track psychological and physical rehabilitation for police and ambulance personnel who were involved in the attack and the subsequent riots.

では、久々の

チラッとだけ（公式SNS画像のみ）

なので、ほぼ初、に近い。。

よくは見えないとはいえ、この時と今回

襟元が違っているのだが、それはボウタイ

実はこれ、ウエストの共布ベルトを、

今回ボウタイとして結ばれている模様！

コートを閉めて、見えないウエストはそのままにして

見える襟元にアクセントをつけた

流石なアレンジ＆着回し術

素晴らしい！！

秋色で

シックでクラシックなスタイル

キチンと感もありつつ

華やかさもあり

この日の公務にも、見事な

キャサリン妃らしいスタイルでした。

その他に、注目すべき点が、NEWリングの存在！！

これまで公務時には、

キャサリン妃は、もれなくダイアナ妃の形見

サファイア＆ダイヤモンドの婚約指輪をされていた。

が、夏のパリ五輪後の動画、以降

サファイアの婚約指輪の着用が見られない。。。

代わりに、新たなリングの存在が❤️

サファイア＆ダイヤのパヴェが敷き詰められた

エターナルリング？

とみられている。

来月には、リメンバランス・サンデーの出席も予定されてるし

その前にも、またサプライズで登場されるといいな

Catherine met the families of the three girls killed in July's Southport knife attack during an emotional visit to the town with her husband, Prince William

The royal pair also spent time with dance teacher Leanne Lucas, 35, who was seriously injured as she shielded youngsters

Later the royal couple had a sit down meeting with other members of the emergency services 

 spoke with survivors as well as emergency services involved in the dealing with the aftermath of the attack

While speaking to the emergency personnel, Kate was asked how the families of the three girls killed in the attack were doing.

She said: 'They're OK. They're managing it differently. All the families are so different. Individually too they are managing it and processing this tragic event in very different ways but they're getting support from families and officers and things like that.

'I think being able to have opportunities to be able to speak to different people in the community about the experience and drawing that together and sharing their experience I think is massively helpful.'

Referencing the earlier meeting with the families of those who died in the attack, the Princess of Wales said: 'I can't underestimate how grateful they all are for the support you provided on the day.

'On behalf of them, thank you.'

The Prince of Wales told the personnel: 'You're all heroes. Please make sure you look after yourselves, please take your time, don't rush back to work.'

Kate wore her luscious locks in loose waves with golden highlights, which she swept away from her face

The late Princess Diana chose the ring when she was presented with a selection of options by the then Crown jewellers, Garrard of Mayfair upon her engagement to Prince Charles

Princess Diana's engagement ring boasts a 12-carat Ceylon sapphire surrounded by a cluster of 14 solitaire diamonds set in white gold.

It was designed by the crown jeweller Garrard and inspired by the sapphire and diamond cluster brooch that was made for Prince Albert in 1840, which he went on to gift Queen Victoria as a wedding present and she wore it as her 'something blue'.

It was reported that Diana picked out the jewel herself, while others claim that she chose it because it was the biggest and reminded her of her mother's engagement ring.

Princess Diana loved her engagement ring so much that she continued to wear it after her divorce from Prince Charles in 1996 and it was made into a bracelet.

She then started wearing an emerald-cut aquamarine ring in its place - the same one that Meghan Markle wore with her second wedding dress.

The aquamarine ring is thought to be around £75,000 because of the size, colour and quality of the centre diamond and a diamond from one of her rings was also used to make Meghan Markle's engagement ring.

When Diana passed away in 1997, Prince William and Prince Harry inherited her jewelry collection, which included her engagement ring, according to Good Housekeeping.
