『The Order of the Garter Service』
＠ St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle
毎年恒例、
ガーター勲章の年次礼拝が
ウィンザー城のセント・ジョージ礼拝堂で行われた。
1348年にエドワード3世によって創設された
英国最古かつ最高位の騎士団であるガーター勲章
その年次礼拝が
毎年6月に、ウィンザー城、聖ジョージ礼拝堂で
伝統的な行列と礼拝によって祝われる
君主を筆頭に、王室の一員、そしてガーター勲章受章者たちが、
豪華なベルベットのローブと、羽飾りのついたベルベットの帽子を身にまとい
聖ジョージ礼拝堂へと行列をなして向かう
礼拝堂内では、
新たに任命されたガーター勲章のメンバーが正式に叙任され
その後、非公開の礼拝が行われる
ガーター勲章を授与される団員は、
公職に就いた者、国家の生活に対して特別な貢献をした者、
あるいは君主個人に奉仕した者を称えるべく
君主自らが直接選定
ちなみに、ウィリアム王子は
2008年から、ガーター勲章の王室騎士団員に
今年、の逮捕を受け
アンドルー元王子は、このガーター勲章も剥奪されました。
チャールズ国王＆カミラ王妃
アン王女、ウィリアム皇太子、エディンバラ公、グロスター公爵ご夫妻がメンバー
それぞれの妻や夫は
それを見守られます。
先日の、トゥルーピング・ザ・カラー の時と同様の
高位メンバーが出席された形で
キャサリン妃のお姿もあり❤️

キャサリン妃にとって、初めてのブランドで
🇬🇧英国デザイナー
とはいえ、以前お会いになっていて
昨年5月、キャサリン妃が
「エリザベス2世英国デザイン賞」
（The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design）
を授与された、 31歳の才能あるデザイナーに
授与されましたね。
マクダウェルはポップスターのレディー・ガガや
女優のサラ・ジェシカ・パーカーにも衣装を提供してきたデザイナー
攻めるスタイルの二人とは異なり
今回は、コンサバ志向のキャサリン妃のお洋服をデザイン
また、意図的に環境に配慮したデザインでもあったようで
マクダウェルは、廃棄物と環境への影響を最小限に抑える
「サーキュラー・デザイン」に焦点を当てた、
サステナブルなラグジュアリーファッションブランドであることを誇りとしている
このような価値観は、
着まわしや倹約スタイルがお得意のキャサリン妃と共通していると言えるでしょう
そんなドレスコートは
私には、正直
エリザベス女王のように見えてしまった、、、
が、注目すべきはこのファブリック！

若き才能が、コラボしたのがこのドレスコート❤️
新たなお洋服の選び方で
素晴らしいコラボ！！
皇太子妃として相応しい、、、
キャサリン妃のためにBespokeで作られた
このドレスコート には
”ウェールズ” という名がつけられていて
同じ色は無理っぽいが、白はオーダーできるそう

実は、ドレスコートの中にはチュールのスカートが見える！！
これは、最高❤️
ポケットの膨らみに合わせて、ボリュームをもたせた

London by Patrick McDowell - the designer she gave the Queen Elizabeth
Award for Design to last year
The fabric of Kate's elegant dress was woven for Her Royal Highness by Stephen Walters & Sons, in Suffolk
Given that the coat dress was so restrained, sober and classically
regal, royal watchers might be surprised to learn that its Wirral-born
designer is only 31 years old
In fact, so tailor-made was the princess’s coat dress that it was even
named after her. A white version of the 'Wales' coat dress is currently
available for pre-order, priced £1990

Queen Camilla and King Charles were resplendent in velvet plumes and ostrich-feathered caps
Royal members include Prince William, Princess Anne (above right),
Prince Edward (above left) and the Gloucesters, as well as the Duke of
Kent
Companions of the Garter are chosen personally by the Sovereign to
honour those who have held public office, who have contributed in a
particular way to national life or who have served the Sovereign
personally
Following the service, Their Majesties and the other royals will depart by carriage for their return journey to the castle
