Kate’s maternal side was most definitely in evidence - from rubbing toddlers’ backs and tickling their tummies, to helping them to daub toys with foam and throw tinsel and shredded paper around.
There was a serious point to her visit to the Orchards Centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, which was to highlight the importance of supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.

幼少期に特別な教育的支援を必要とする子どもたちのために、

家族、構造化学習、子ども主導の遊びに焦点を当てた
このモデルは大成功を収め、
1970年代に英国でも採用され、
全米ポーテージ協会の設立につながったのだとか。
この支援モデルは、幼児期の環境において特に効果的であると考えられ
この活動は、キャサリン妃の肝入りプロジェクト
「Shaping Usキャンペーン』の一環として、
クリスマスまでの間に実施する、いくつかの活動のひとつとして選ばれた。

さすがにパンツスーツではなかったが
ジャケット＋パンツ、、、、
もう完全に、パンツが主、なのね、、
そして大好きなジャケットも。
即わかる、真っ赤なツイードのジャケットは

今回で、４度目となる着回しで
今回は、
赤JKに、黒の細身パンツを合わせて。
と、ここまではわかるんだが、
これにベージュのニット、、、、これは無いわ
いや、アリなのよ、ボトムが黒じゃなきゃ。
ボトムが黒になると、俄然ベージュが合わなくなる。
テイストが違うというか、、、
ボトムを、白とかベージュにすれば、いけた。
いっそ、ベージュじゃなく
トップスも黒にすべしだった。
そしたら
シャープにスタイリッシュにまとまったはず。
しかし、この日の注目は
どうやら、ヘアスタイル
私はイマイチ、なんだが
結構絶賛系？、、、
カーテンバングの前髪を生かして
三つ編みのアップスタイルでまとめたスタイルが
イメチェンではありますね❤️
な〜んか、私は落ち着きすぎな感がしちゃうのだが
皆さんはいかが？
キャサリン妃って、アップスタイル、
紙一重で、素敵かおばさんぽいか、に転びがち
それにしても、そろそろスカート見たい（笑）

Princess Catherine, and mum of three, seemed to really enjoy meeting and playing with all the children at a specialist centre for children with disabilities and special educational needs in Sittingbourne, Kent. The centre offers ‘portage’: where specialists visit parents and children at home to offer their services.
Today's engagement is all part of Kate's Shaping Us campaign, which the Princess launched in February this year
During today's visit, the Princess is set to join a sensory development class with a group of children with a range of needs and conditions
The royal mother-of-three has made Early Years development a cornerstone of her royal work
The Princess has dedicated much of her work to understanding the Early Years and was chatty as she spoke to staff at the centre today

she had fun with a group of youngsters during a sensory development class in Kent earlier today

She spoke about it with father-of-four Steve Ikebuwa from Gravesend, whose youngest child Nathan, 11 months, has profound learning difficulties.
He told her how the Kent Portage Service has helped with Nathan’s development.
Mr Ikebuwa told the Princess that - like her - his wife had suffered the severe morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe vomiting during pregnancy.
He said of the interchange: 'It was nice meeting her. When I told her about my wife having Hyperemesis gravidarum, it struck a chord with her.
'You could see an expression of "I went through that".'
He added: 'She said "I had that, I know what it's like". You could see her connection to the fact that my wife went through all of that.
'That really resonated with me. She is a pleasant lady.'
'Steve Ikebuwa, a father-of-four from Gravesend, whose 11-month-old son Nathan has profound learning difficulties, explained how the Kent Portage Service, which ran the session, had helped with his child’s development.
He further revealed that – like the Princess – his wife had suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, a type of morning sickness that causes severe vomiting during pregnancy. “I went through that. I know what that feels like,” she told him.
The mother-of-three was taken to hospital in 2012, when she was pregnant with Prince George, and later revealed in a podcast that she was “not the happiest of pregnant people”.
Mr Ikebuwa, 44, said later that his reference to the condition had “ struck a chord” with the Princess, adding: “You can see her expression change – she went through the same thing.'
