You Tubeチャンネルを開設されたことは
もうお伝えしましたが、その一環として
昨年、秋に
”Hold Still”
の100枚の写真の関係者に
電話をされたことが判明。
そしてその一部が公開された。
その中の一人
4歳の少女との会話がキュート。
ファッション〜！
生成りのブラウスを着用
なんと、再び
マリオテスティーノ撮影の婚約記念画像が、再び蘇る。。。
というのも、このシルクのブラウス、そ
の時にお召しになっていたものと同じ。
着回しなんだけど、しかも婚約記念画像の時と同じ物をチョイス
2008年の商品で
この撮影は2010年
そして、11年がたった今、、、
凄いですね〜
これも結婚10周年を振り返る、キャサリン妃の思いではないでしょうか。

"Good morning, Your Royal Highness!"
”妃殿下”という呼び方をしたミラちゃんに
キャサリン妃は感動
"Good morning. My goodness me, you're so polite Mila!"
Mila very sweetly told Kate she "loved" her children's names and listed all three.
キャサリン妃が、ここでルイ王子の話を。
"Louis has got so big now he's very quick running around and he's on his little scooter as well. He's very quick. I can't keep up with him."

Lynda wrote: "This photograph was taken on the first day of separation. After seven weeks of temporary separation, and after being furloughed from his job, Scott was reunited with Mila. Looking back, I’m so proud of my daughter and how far she has come, the level of resilience Mila has shown during this unprecedented time is truly remarkable."
Kate asked Mila about not seeing her dad properly for so long. Mila told her it was hard. "When he came to the house, I was like, so surprised."

覚えておくと約束。
"I have to make sure I go and try and find myself a pink dress so that, one day hopefully, Mila, we'll get to meet and then I'll remember to wear my pink dress for you. Would that be nice?"

昨年、コロナ禍に生まれた企画
“HoldStill”
オンラインギャラリーから
街中での展示
そしてついには写真として販売に。
そして、この日
7日がその初日！！
事前にも告知的にPRされてたけど
当日は登場！
しかもお忙しい、、、
まずは、動画で登場。
キャサリン妃が、
その写真集を持って、
ケンジントンパレスの正面、ヴィクトリア女王の銅像前に置かれた！
というのも、どうやら、
“Bookfairies（ブック・フェアリーズ）”の活動を取り入れられたんです。
日本語に訳すと
”本の妖精たち”
本を幅広い人に見てもらうため、
また、変えない人の目にも触れるようにという願いも込められたこの活動を
キャサリン妃も採用。
妖精たちが、本を隠すかのように
この写真集を、あちこちに置いて、
発見した人が、今度は妖精となって
またどこかに置いて、の繰り返し。
とっても、素敵なアイデアですよね〜！！！
写真集には、ゴールドのリボンがかけられていて
“ブック・フェアリーズ”のステッカーが。
更に、中には
「貴方が見終わったら、他の人も楽しめるよう、コミュニティのどこかにまた置いて下さい。」
という、キャサリン妃のメッセージも、
病院はもちろん、様々な場所に置かれたようで、
当日、すぐに、各所で発見され
画像が投稿されています。
そして、そこからキャサリン妃は
ロイヤル・ロンドン病院へ。
この病院といえば、写真集の表紙に選ばれた
ナースさんと撮影者の、2名の医療従事者が勤務している病院。
ここに、その写真の大判が額に入れて
キャサリン妃＆ナショナル・ポートレート・ギャラリーから
贈られたそうで、それもキャサリン妃がご自身でご覧に。
最終の100枚の写真選考を思い出しながら
「とても象徴的な一枚になりましたね。
いくつか、とてもパワフルな写真はあったのだけれど、これは際立っていましたね。」
としみじみ。
同時に、ここで行われている
アートと健康についての取り組みについてお聞きになったり、
また、スタッフたちから、
病院の現状についてのヒアリングも。
お次は、ナショナル・ポートレート・ギャラリー
実は、その最終的に選ばれた、100枚の写真が
なんと、ギャラリーの
“ナショナル コレクション”に保存されることが決定したのだそう。
その嬉しいニュースを受けて
キャサリン妃が訪問された模様。
そもそも、ここのパトロンであるキャサリン妃が
コラボをして始まった企画とはいえ
コロナ禍という、歴史的状況を捉えた上に
国民からの影響や功績も大きく、
次世代にまで残すべきものとして認められたということですね〜
1840年代から現在に至るまで
約25万以上もの
その“ナショナル コレクション”
の仲間入りを果たしたことに。
素晴らしい！！
キャサリン妃がどれだけお喜びか、自信に繋がったかは
想像に容易い。。。
アーカイブとして、後世に残すものとして
プロアマ関係なく選ばれるというのも、なんか感動
英国らしい。
どうやら、初日で既にベストセラー！！
しかも、25ansのコラムでお知らせ兼ねてリンクさせようとチェックしてみたら、
日本のAmazonでもベストセラーだって！！
ビックリ。。
日本でも売れてるって意味だよね？
それとも、世界的ベストセラーだからそうでるの？？
どっちにしてもベストセラー
(しつこいw)
おかげですぐには届かないらしい（ ; ; ）
ちなみに、この写真集の収益は
メンタルヘルス支援の”Mind“と
ナショナル・ポートレート・ギャラリー
の2箇所で分配され
今後、アート＆メンタルヘルスのプロジェクトを
サポートするべく使われるそうです。
では、ファッション！
この日は、
真っ赤、、かと思いきや
実はオレンジとも。。。
ということで、朱赤ですねw
それにしても、まだドレスコート、、、
なんだかとっても寒い模様の英国ですが
このコートは、ニュー！

のもの。
レトロで、60年代風デザインがお得意ですが、
これは、というか
キャサリン妃がお召しになると、
エレガントでコンサバな雰囲気に！

フィット＆フレアーの流れるようなシルエット

大きなボタンはレトロだけど、それも上の位置にだけついてて、
まさに脚長、スタイルアップの基本
全ての条件が、
キャサリン妃スタイルのコートですね。

下手だけど、結構その通りな気が、、、、

お仕事も好調だし

"The public response to Hold Still, which was spearheaded by our Patron, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been phenomenal. The photographs submitted have helped to create a unifying and cathartic portrait of life in lockdown. We are honoured to have been able to share a selection of these photographs with the nation, first through the online and community exhibition and now through this new publication. The proceeds raised from the book will help us to continue to care for and share our national Collection and to provide free access, inspiration and learning, through the work we do at the Gallery and our UK wide community and education projects."
Proceeds from the book will be shared between the NPG and the UK's leading mental health charity, Mind

さすが、、、
11歳の時に、CMのナレーションを変えさせた過去を持つ
メーガン妃らしい、行動力でございます。
それにしても、じゃあ結局のところ
ロイヤルメンバーの皆様への対応投稿はなし
だから＝無視
とは言わないけれど
なんだか、切ないですねえ。
これも関係を物語るかのようで。。。
表面上、お仕事上
とも言えるSNSでのことだけど、
でもね。。
しかし、一方で、英国側も気になるポイントはあり。
チャールズ皇太子のクラレンスハウスが出した画像は
メーガン妃の姿無いし
また、実はルイ王子(4/23)＆シャーロット王女(5/2)のバースデーには
むしろ何もコメントを出していなかった。
きっと、ケンブリッジ公爵家の孫たちとは
直接お話に、もしくはお会いになったのでしょうが
今回メッセージが出ているという事実の方が、
＝会ってないという証拠のように。。
とはいえ、LAに移動されて
