in her capacity

as patron of Place2Be』

先日

”チルドレンズ・メンタルヘルス・ウィーク”

スタート前日に告知動画を投稿されましたが、

今度は期中

学校と連携して、子供達や家族のサポートを続けている

チャリティ

”Place2Be"

のパトロンであるキャサリン妃

2015年に

”Place2Be”が

立ち上げた、

”チルドレンズ・メンタルヘルス・ウィーク”

毎年恒例となった、このキャンペーンを今年も支援。

昨年のアンケートを元に、

今年のテーマは

Express Yourself - is all about creativity

子供達のみならず

大人たち自身も自分を労わろう

という想いが込められている。

そんなこの日のキャサリン妃のお相手は

学校の先生たち。

”Place2Be”

が果たしている役目や影響をお聞きになりながら、

コロナ禍でロックダウン、自宅学習の中

懸命に子供達のために働いている

国内中の先生たちを称賛

そして、子供たちのみならず、

ご自身たちのこともケアするよう、促された。

'I wanted to say a massive thank you to teachers across the country for doing fantastic jobs. It's been really hard work but please look after yourselves.'

では、キャサリン妃ファッション〜

懐かしい、ツイードのスーツを着回し！

2017年2月にデビューの

《レベッカ・テイラー》

他にも、新婚時代に同ブランドのツイードスーツをお持ちで、

いわゆる、キャサリン妃の定番的、というかコンサバアイテム。

しかし流石にもう、

この手は登場しないかと思いきや、、、

まだ大事に所有。

確かに古くも見えないタイプだから、

まだまだ愛用出来るっちゃー出来るが、、、

絶対物を捨てないキャサリン妃

を改めて、実感。

そして、

コロナ禍が続く中、やはり着回しが多いですね〜

節約プリンセスも健在！

しかも、

派手なものでもなくシックで

きちんとスタイル。

でもポニーテールで若々しさも。

三児の母となっても、アラフォーでも

まだまだポニーテールがお似合いで

すごい❤️

Although it's Children's Mental Health Week, it's hugely important we ensure our teachers are supported as well. @_Place2Be have been champions of mental health in schools across the UK and continue to provide support to those facing challenges throughout lockdown.

Kate has supported the annual Children's Mental Health Week since it was launched in 2015 - to highlight the importance of children and young people's mental health - by Place2Be, a children's mental health charity of which she is royal patron

spoke one-on-one with teachers from the school about the important work they have been doing during the pandemic to support children and their families, and thanked them for their efforts

The Duchess praised teachers for "being a lifeline" and "fantastic" during the pandemic, telling Louise Tweedie she's "passionate about all the work that teachers up and down the country are doing. You are doing the most amazing job"

Kate added:

"Everyone can recognise that schools are doing an amazing job, as parents as well you really recognise what a vital role you do play for us on a day-to-day basis. Having remote learning going on as well must be hugely challenging to juggle both for a school as well."

heard how Place2Be supports the wellbeing of the whole school community, including teachers

spoke with staff from Ribbon Academy earlier this week to hear about their hard work amidst the global pandemic

《Teacher Hannah Rispin》 told Kate that Place2Be was crucial for everyone in the school, not just the kids.

"You can't pour from an empty cup, so how can we fill the children's cups up, give them all of this love, give them this enthusiasm if we're not doing it ourselves?" she said.

When Kate asked how are the kids are handling remote learning, 《Rispin》, who called her children "shining stars," shared her first lesson is always math. But for the first 10 minutes,

"all they want to do is tell me what they've been doing that morning," she said. "'Miss, guess what? My dad let me try a little bit of coffee,' 'Guess what I'm making?' Chocolate brownies or whatever they've been making!"

chatted with Chris Reay, a High Level Teaching and Learning Partner, who attended Place2Be sessions as a child after a traumatic life event, and is now working at the school as an adult

When Kate asked what he does to stay positive during the pandemic he spoke of his newfound love of walking. The Duchess replied "Well done you", adding "It's so important that you're looked after too and have the appropriate networks and support systems to make really sure you can really do the best job you possibly can."
