毎年、この次期恒例のイべント
”ロイヤル・バラエティ・パフォーマンス”
このイベントは、
”the Royal Variety Charity”
の支援のために開催され
集まったお金は、
年齢や病気、困難な状況に置かれ
助けを必要とする
英国内のエンターテナーたちをサポートするために使われる。
20世紀初頭の
ジョージ5世の時代から
連綿で、君主のパトロネージュを受け続けている
英国でも数少ないチャリティの一つ
現在は、もちろん
エリザベス女王がパトロン。
ここ最近は
女王の代わりにチャールズ皇太子へ。
そして、2014年にケンブリッジ公爵ご夫妻が初めて出席され
翌年、2015年にはハリー王子も。

これがどうにも、イマイチ
細すぎて、水着のホルターのようなの。
いっそ無為方が素敵だったのに、
落ちちゃう危険があったのかしら、、、
これまでキャサリン妃が出席された時と比較され
肩を覆う出で立ちのキャサリン妃と
ガッツリ出た装いのメーガン妃、、みたいな。
ニュアンスとしては
メーガン妃の方がセクシーくらいな感じなことに、
むしろ驚き
さすが欧米
ま、立場が違いますからね、
ってことも書いてますが。
何にせよ
メーガン妃、これはイマイチですわ、
残念！（笑）

'Ask your husband about playing the tambourine of one of our records!' 'Jamaica wasn't it?' the prince interjected. Barlow later explained that the prince had played percussion on Sing, his Commonwealth record commemorating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.'

The evening was hosted by Greg Davies and included performances from Take That, George Ezra, Clean Bandit, the cast of ‘Tina, The Tina Turner Musical’, and Andrea and Matteo Bocelli.
There was also a performance by the cast of Hamilton. Indeed, Meghan loves the musical so much, she's seen it three times. The couple helped organise a special show in August in support of Harry's charity Sentebale
A fanfare was sounded before the National Anthem, which was played by the the state trumpeters of the Household Cavalry and the Invictus Games Choir
It is believed to be one of the few charities in the UK that has an unbroken line of patronage from the reigning monarch since George V in the early twentieth century.
Queen Elizabeth II is the current sole life-patron of the charity.

London based brand Safiyaa was launched by creative director Daniela Karnuts in 2011. With a demanding career in fashion media, she needed a wardrobe that was sophisticated and polished, without being boring or dated. Searching for pieces that were flattering, combinable and travelled well led her to question why a man could go to London’s Savile Row for bespoke suiting yet a woman had to settle on fixed styles and colours. With a selection of 12 dresses and endless ambition, Daniela began her journey to fulfill her needs and those of women with similar desires as well. Named after her daughter, Safiyaa was started from there. The brand is described as "created for women by women".

The Royal Variety Performance takes place every year and is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity (RVC),
of which the Queen is patron
The money raised from the show helps hundreds of entertainers throughout the UK,
who are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.
In particular, the charity assists former members of the entertainment industry living in Brinsworth House, a residential home in Twickenham, which is owned and run by the charity. Upon arrival the Duchess will receive a posy that includes foliage from Brinsworth House garden

It has long been tradition for members of the Royal family to make an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance - it dates back all the way to 1912 when the inaugural performance was watched by King George V and Queen Mary.
In July 1919, a second royal show was performed.
