気づけば
今年も始まりました！
恒例の
チェルシーフラワーショー🌺
1913年に設立された
世界最大の園芸の祭典
毎年16万5000人
が訪れます。
今年は
23 〜 27日に
開催されますが、
それに先駆け
前日22日は
ロイヤルメンバーの日！
エリザベス女王を筆頭に
エディンバラ公やロイヤルファミリーの皆様が
一足お先にご覧に。
そこに
予想外の
突如キャサリン妃も登場！！！
最近増えてる気がする、、、
エリザベス女王とエディンバラ公に同行。。。
いいことね。

今年は
お庭、苗床（苗畑）、花飾学や教育的なディスプレイなど
総勢500以上の展示がなされているそう。
キャサリン妃は、
いくつかのガーデンをご覧に。
その中には、
ロイヤルウェディングを祝し
2012年に
"William & Catherine Rose"
と名付けられたバラも。

英国の人気料理家でフードライター
メアリーさんと再会
キャサリンさん、
この方のファンで
料理本も持ってるという話をかつてされたことが、、、
きっと話が盛り上がったことでしょう。
このガーデンでは
メアリーさんからイメージして
美味しい植物を栽培しているのだそう。
ここで一つ面白い目撃が
キャサリン妃が、
自分で落としちゃったトマトを、
拾って食べたらしい（笑）
いいねえ〜、こういうとこ。
そして
『この日の告白』も☆
最近、キャサリンさん
子供達と一緒にガーデニングを始めたのだそう。
もともと
幅広く野菜を育てる
家庭菜園もやってましたからね〜
ま、自然な流れ
しかも
チャールズ皇太子ってゆー
スゴイ方もいらっしゃいますしね。
その中で
ジョージ王子に教育も
「fox gloves（ジギタリス）
は毒入りだから食べちゃいけません」
てなこと。
楽しみながら、教えられ
生活にゆとりと自然
これぞ英国の暮らし❤️

But the Duchess, 35, revealed she has had to teach Prince George, 3, not to eat the fox gloves as they are poisonous'
The Duchess also described her own growing efforts by saying: "It makes such a difference when you take it from the ground."

The Poetry Lovers Garden by Fiona Cadwallader
is one of my favourites this year. "Rooftop-pruned lime trees reference the garden’s inspiration – Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s romantic poem This Lime Tree Bower My Prison. The garden alludes to a world beyond while creating a meditative space in which nature, the poem and the imagination come together. References found in the poem include ivy-clad dry-stone walls, a waterfall in the form of a stainless-steel water feature, and beanflowers, while polished concrete represents ease, modernity and reflection. Gates offer a hint of escape into a less-secluded world and the pleasures of human contact. All these elements conjure the uplifting spirituality of the dramatic conclusion of the poem, leaving the viewer afloat on the power of the imagination."
