昨日、友からの連絡でワタシも知りましたが
Bloggerが一時開けなくなりました。

ワタシのこれまでが水の泡かと
かなりパニくりましたが
とりあえずホッとしました。

１５週のキャサリンさん☆

Queenのスコットランドの邸宅
バルモラル城で、
ジョージ王子を連れて一家でしばしのブレイクで寛がれて
さて公務！
とばかりに立て続けに公務予定が入りましたね。

この日
ご結婚後、最初の生活の拠点だった
ウェールズに、戻ってこられたお二人

懐かしiい・・・
ホームはAnglesey 
ウィリアム王子の職場は
Search & rescue パイロット@ RAF Valley でしたね。

一日だけとはいえ、ウェールズへ嬉しい帰省？となったと思われる
この日の公務は、

 『the Valero Pembroke Refinery』

50周年を記念～☆

”ザ・ペンブリック・リファイナリー”

1964年にクイーンマザーによって正式オープンし、
現在も1200人が働いている製油所は、
1926年の ”the Pembroke Dock”の閉鎖以来、
南ペンブロークシャー初の、初の主要産業の雇用者となった。
これまで地域に多くの雇用を生み、
地域社会に大きな貢献をしてきた、
ウェールズ西部の製油所。 

こちらの創業５０周年を記念します。

到着後、
地域との関係性を含む５０年の歴史を示した年代記をご覧になり、
その後そこで働く方達、
訓練生や見習いの学生達にその指導者たちとお会いになり、
その後、製造や運搬過程なども視察されたようです。

 コントロールルームを視察し、
blending やshipping workersと会われた。

そして、
  ”the Fire Hall”
製油所によって支援されてる地域組織の代表者たちとお会いに。

滞在最後の締めくくりは、
地元アーティストによる絵画と銘板の除幕式と、
製油所とは協力関係である”the Young Actors Studio”の若き俳優たちによる
パフォーマンス。

 

Honours and achievements include winning the Prince's Trust Cymru Celebrate 2007 "Celebrate Success" award for community projects, and winning the Best Employer Category of the 2009 Modern Apprenticeship Awards for its young apprentice programme. The company also supports many projects in the local area including the arts, sports clubs and Macmillan Cancer Support

'I can smell the paint.'

Both William and Kate sat in front of screens and pressed a button to create their own gasoline blend.

 'Shall I do one and you can do the other one?' 

Kate told William

After she pressed the button William laughingly told workers:

 'We are waiting for the red light to go off.'

The group clapped loudly after William had also pressed his button and told the couple it would take 15 hours to create the blend. William replied:
 'We will do the night shift.'

同日、公務はこれだけで終わらず、
その後ラグビーの国際試合にご出席されたお二人。

英国ではかなり人気も地位も高いラグビーですが、
ウィリアム王子も大ファン
Vice Patron of Welsh Rugby Union であり、
Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust"の
パトロンであるウィリアム王子に付き添い、
キャサリン妃も共に、
ラグビー ユニオン インターナショナル マッチ
を観戦された。

ハーフタイム中には、
戦争負傷者や、元選手達、家族とお会いになった。

試合後のレセプションでは、
負傷した元選手達とやその家族たちとお会いに。
キャサリン妃は
レせプションには出られなかったようですね。。

William revealed she was feeling a little "under the weather" on Saturday, when they were at the rugby international.

ウェールズの首都カーディフ、
ミレニアムスタジアムで行われる、
ウェールズ対オーストラリア戦。

こ の対戦・・・といえば、
４月の海外ツアー時、
オーストラリアで行われたラグビーの試合にも、
公務後にプライベートで観戦をされていましたね！
足をあげ、リ ラックスされた様子で観戦されていたキャサリン妃が、
ウィリアム王子の膝の上に頭を乗せていらっしゃる
ラブラブ画像を思い出します♡

このウェールズ対オーストラリア戦を
同ウェールズの同ミレニアムスタジアムにて観戦されていました。
