William is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU),
while Kate holds a similar position with the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
The famously competitive couple have previously joked about supporting different teams during the tournament with William supporting Wales and Kate rooting for England.

キャサリン妃は、前パトロンである
ハリー王子が王室離脱されたことで
2022年から引き継がれた形。
結果、ご夫妻で異なるチーム
（ウェールズ代表、イングランド代表）を応援
まさにライバル同士ということに。
試合に先駆け、お二人は、
ウィリアム皇太子がパトロンとなられている
”the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust”
（ウェールシュ・ラグビー慈善信託）
が支援する負傷選手たちと面会
また、元選手たちに彼らのキャリアについて話をお聞きになったり
皇太子ご一家の2人の息子たち、
ジョージ王子とルイ王子との週末の日課について、
チラリとお話しされたりも❤️
"At weekends we go from one competition to the next," William explained, before Kate added: "Louis is six and he's just started touch rugby and George is 11 and he plays a bit more. They do really enjoy it."
She added: "They've been exposed to lots of different sports."

74,500人収容の会場に、空席が目立ち始めたらしい。。

イングランド代表が追加トライで試合を決めた。

ウェールズとイングランドの更衣室を訪れ、
選手たちに声をかけられた。
ウィリアム皇太子は、赤のマフラーを巻いて応援されていたんだけどねえ、、、
ご両親の血を受け継ぎ、
お子様たちのスポーツ好き走られるところ
2022年には、キャサリン妃が
"They're all enjoying it [rugby], Louis is kamikaze, we're worrying about when he gets older, he'll be in the middle of everything."
皇太子ご一家の3人の子どもたちは、
テニス、サッカー、体操など、さまざまなスポーツに興味がを示している。
ジョージ王子は父ウィリアムと一緒に定期的にサッカーの試合を観戦、
シャーロット王女は2022年に開催されるユーロ決勝を前にライオネスへの幸運を祈るメッセージに登場、
同じく2022年に開催されたコモンウェルスゲームズでは体操に興味を示されていた。
昨年10月にはウィリアムが、ジョージのスキューバダイビングへの情熱について語っている。オリンピック選手のAdam Peaty ＆ Tom Deanと談笑しながら、
「ジョージはスキューバダイビングが大好きなんだ。」と語った。
更にキャサリン妃は、幼少期からラグビーが定番スポーツでもあったんです。
以前妹のピッパさんが『Vanity Fair』
のインタビューで、こう語っていたように、
一家でラグビー好き
"Rugby was a big thing for our family, and the focal point was international matches, which were often played on Saturday afternoons and were as much social as sporting occasions.
"We'd plan our weekends around the big matches, a quick bite to eat at halftime or lunch on our laps, typically a chicken pot pie or something equally cosy and English. If we lost, my dad would be in a state of despair for the rest of the afternoon, as if he'd actually lost the game himself."

そんなピッパさんの第二子、娘グレースちゃんの4歳のお誕生日が
実はこの日だったんです。
家族でお祝いするミドルトン家だけに、
キャサリン妃にとっては泣く泣く欠席、、、となったのでしょう。

キャサリン妃は、ネイビーのNEWコート＋ブラックのコーデ
イングランドのカラーは入れず、、と珍しい。
一方、ウィリアム皇太子は
ネイビーのコートに赤のマフラーを巻いて
チームのユニフォームと同じ色で、サポーターらしいアクセントを❤️
この日、カーディフの気温は、7℃とか、、
日本もだけれど、ウェールズらしく、まだまだ寒いようです
