新しい馬車でビッグベンに向かわれたクイーン☆
これがスゴイ！

気を失った・・・・・
色々起こりますねえ、しかし。
さすがイギリス(笑)
そしてなんとっても、
その瞬間のクイーンの落ち着き払った冷静な行動・・・・・・
音に気付いたクイーンは、
すばやく横目で見、
一呼吸おいてから、途中のスピーチを続けられた。。。
より近くにいらした
チャールズ皇太子＆カミラ夫人は、
もっぱら少年を心配したご様子。
そっち？って驚くほど
ワタシ的には暖かい気持ちになったほど、
クイーンより少年に気がいっておられた。
ま、
スピーチ途中のチャールズ皇太子の表情見ても
この方にとっては、母のスピーチはむしろ慣れっこ？
こういう正式な場も。。
かなあ(笑)
そういうトコロも好きだわあ♥(笑)
記事の中で、クイーンより主役となってしまった
可愛そうなページボーイの少年は、１２歳
もちろん貴族、スコットランドの由緒ある家柄のお坊ちゃま

４人いたページボーイの役目は
クイーンの儀式用の長～～～くて重いローブをもつこと。
ページボーイって、
クイーンのお知り合いや、スタッフから選ばれるんですね～

手を差し伸べようとしてるところに、なんだか感動・・・

Viscount Aithrie's father, 《Andrew, Earl of Hopetoun》, was himself a former Page of Honour to the Queen Mother. He was later educated at Eton and Oxford University.

この100年でこれがほんの２度目なんですね～、
それが、この
新ダイアモンド・ジュビリー・ステート コーチ
これがスゴイ！
まるで、”動く歴史の博物館”
(a mobile museum of our history)
歴史的遺物と共に、
１０００年以上にも及ぶブリティッシュヒストリーが詰まっているのです。
・・・・・・とメチャ、勉強した、いやまだ勉強中(^_^;)
Designed by Australian 《Jim Frecklington》 64才
最初の資金は
オーストラリア政府から貰ったそうですが、
自分のお金も費やして作られたそう。。。
本来は、クイーンの８０才のバースデイに間に合わせる予定であったようですが、
結果、
完成＆お披露目までに10年・・・・・・
８年遅れって・・・・・
期日より、こだわり？？
さすがイギリスだなあ～、もしそうだとしたら。
ウッド部分はニュートンの木、
ナポレオン戦争（The Battle of Waterloo）のマスケット銃の弾、
チャスタイズ作戦からのメタル、などが使用され
そして、最新テクノロジーもミックス

As she is drawn behind six horses, the Queen will be sitting on a piece of Scotland's Stone of Destiny, upon which monarchs are traditionally crowned, and surrounded by a bolt from a Spitfire, a musket ball from Waterloo, a bolt and rivets from the Flying Scotsman and a button from Gallipoli

”the Royal Collection Trust” で総額は未公表で購入され、
バッキンガム宮殿のロイヤルミューズで展示される予定らしい☆
The wheels - cast in aircraft aluminium - feature the name of coach designer and builder Australian Jim Frecklington. It was originally intended to reach the Queen in time for her 80th birthday, but various delays meant it took 10 years to complete. It has been bought by the Royal Collection Trust for an undisclosed sum and will go on display at the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.
Mr Frecklington built the coach in his workshop near Sydney, Australia using the work of the finest craftsmen and women from all over the Commonwealth

トラファルガー海戦(ナポレオン戦争における最大の海戦）のフラッグシップ"HMS"からの木から再生されている。
バッキンガム宮殿のゲートに見られる、４頭のライオンが模られている。
中央の王冠を囲むように、馬車の周りを
合計で、400ものゴールドリーフがデコレーションしている。
The golden crown on the roof was carved from wood from Lord Nelson’s flagship, HMS Victory. In total, about 400 books of gold leaf were used to decorate the vehicle.
Made from wood reclaimed from HMS Victory the reproduction crown sits atop four lions modelled on those found on the gates of Buckingham Palace
内部の壁面やドアは、
コーティングされた小さなスクエアウッドがはめ込まれている
それらは、歴史的な要素のモノ：
ヘンリー8世の軍艦 "Mary Rose", "Westminster Abbey", "the Tower of London" and ニュートンの"the apple tree"
手すりは、”Royal Yacht Britannia”の船材から。
肘掛を上げると、
ヒーターや、自動窓など、
ボンドスタイルで管理ができるようになっている(笑)
The interior walls and doors of the carriage are inlaid with small varnished wooden squares from a range of historic sources, such as Henry VIII’s warship Mary Rose, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and the apple tree, which inspired Sir Isaac Newton to form his theory of gravity.
Flip up the armrests and there are discreet, Bond-style controls for the heating and electric windows underneath
The handrails inside the Diamond Jubilee state coach are made from timber reclaimed from the Royal Yacht Britannia

A piece of the Stone of Destiny, used for centuries in the coronation of monarchs, is set into a panel below the seats. The seats themselves are upholstered in pastel gold-coloured silk brocade. Other decorations include a bolt from a Spitfire, a musket ball from the battle of Waterloo and a fragment of a 617 Squadron Dambuster. The doors are inlaid with diamonds and sapphires.

It is only the second state coach to be built in more than 100 years and was conceived and created by 《Jim Frecklington》 in his Australian workshop in Manly, a suburb of Sydney

さまざまな紋章やモチーフで彩られている。
The entire coach is covered with heraldic emblems, crests and motifs, all of which have been approved by the College of Arms
《Jim Frecklington》, 64, designed and built the coach
'I wanted to make something in honour of Her Majesty'
Mr Frecklington, who has travelled to London, said: "I wanted to create something very special to mark the Queen's reign. Our present Queen will go down in history as one of the greatest monarchs that's ever lived and I thought something very special - a tangible item - should be produced." Mr Frecklington used to work for the Royal Household looking after the Queen's show horses and helped build the Queen's Australian State Coach, which marked the bicentenary of Australia in 1988 - the first state carriage to be constructed since 1902. For his present project he received initial funding from the Australian government but also used his own money.

謝り続けた上に、

He spent much of the visit apologised to young well-wishers who were standing outside in the wet to meet him.
As he arrived the Duke of Cambridge said:
"I'm so sorry I didn't bring better weather with me."
そして、子供達に写真を撮られた(笑)
やられたい放題
イギリスの子供たちは自由だわ～。
そしてワタシは、
先日のキャサリン妃バージョンを思い出した・・・・・

The carriage is fitted with gold-plated hydraulics, to ensure a smooth ride. Inside, it also has a heater, electric windows and a 360-degree camera, to give a monarch's view of the procession
