伝統的クリスマス休暇の為、サンドリンガムに勢ぞろい！！！


お散歩の距離ではあるが、のクイーン、レンジローバーで
　
伝統的クリスマスサービスの際には、ジョージ王子も初出席☆
クイーンヴィクトリアが最初にここで２５日を過ごして以来、
サンドリンガムでのクリスマス自体が、もはや王室の伝統となっている。
 
ハリー王子や、ケンブリッジ夫妻、も数日中に到着されるとみている。
チャールズ皇太子＆カミラ夫人は、クリスマスイブ、
4pmのティー＆プレゼントオープンに間に合うよう、到着されたらしい。

２００００エーカーに及ぶ広大な敷地で、ヴィクトリア王朝以来
ジョージ王子の初クリスマス、現～未来において４代にわたる君主が勢ぞろい。

そして、
サンドリンガムでクリスマスを過ごす習慣は、
ヴィクトリア女王の時代から始まったとされている。

４代にわたる君主が勢ぞろいし、
従来より多くのメンバーとなったらしい今年
なんと、召使さん達のお部屋を使わないと、
皆さま全員分のお部屋が足りなかったらしい(＠_＠;)

 クイーンが決められた英王室の風習として、
クリスマスプレゼントはイブの日にオープン☆
 

次の日、２５日には、
クリスマスサービスのあと、
ターキーランチ＠ in Sandringham's sumptuous dining room
 

クイーンのクリスマスメッセージ @ 3pm 
　皆さんでお聞きになる　＠one of the drawing rooms
 
（キジうち？）シューティング＠ボクシングデー２６日　
こちらも伝統的行事１９世紀から続く

さて、教会でのサービスの際
 国民の前に登場されることが恒例なため、
今年も、約3,000人もの人達が集まった。
皆の期待は叶わず
ジョージ王子は登場しませんでした。。。

沿道から、「ジョージ王子はどこ？」 という声が飛び交ったようですが、
それを忘れさせるため？？
（と、私だけ勘ぐった・・・ｗ）
ラブラブなムードで登場した、ウィリアム王子とキャサリン妃夫妻♥

そして、ベイビージョージに関する質問には↓


'She told me he was having a lovely day but was more interested in the wrapping paper than the presents,' Ms Howard said.

William told the crowd: 'We've had a good morning with George and I can't wait until next year when he's bigger.'

Earlier in the day many of the royals had worn different outfits as they gathered at the Queen's Sandringham Estate this morning.

《Harrods Sale Butlers》



This morning we launched the 2013 Harrods Sale in the most luxurious fashion. An army of Harrods butlers served customers with blankets, Galvin Restaurants Michelin star canapes, pastries and hot chocolate. The crowds were also thoroughly entertained by astounding magician DYNAMO and a whole host of other incredible performance artists.

クリスマスが終わり、26日ボクシングデイになった途端、セールがスタートするイギリス

欲しい物が安くなる！ってゆー普通の理由はもちろんですが、
来年分のクリスマスプレゼントを安くでもうゲットしておく！
ってな、姑息(賢い？）理由もあるというのが
さすが、クリスマスがお金がかかる大イベントであることを象徴してる(笑)
皆いやいや・・・・だそうですからねえ。
と言いながらも楽しむんだけど。

恒例のセルフリッジズのBoxing Day風景(笑)
