なんと、連日続く、、皇太子ご一家のお祝いごと✨
結婚記念日の翌日、公式SNSで公開されたのが愛犬の画像❣️
なんと、この日は
昨年、ご一家に加わっていた
仔犬のお誕生日‼️
今年2月に、キャサリン妃がご公務の中で
8か月の仔犬が加わった話をされていたけれど
初めて、一歳のお誕生日に
その存在を明言すると同時に
名前も明らかに❤️
ブラウン・スパニエルの”Otto”（オット）は
コッカースパニエル犬のオーラから産まれた仔犬🐶だそう
先日の、結婚記念日の画像にも
オーラとともに、しっかり写っていたオット

なにせ、ご結婚後、パイロットとして勤務する
夫ウィリアム王子の留守を守りながらの新婚時代
キャサリン妃の支えとなったのが、このルポ
亡くなる直前に、オーラが加わっていたことが
せめてもの癒し、となったはず。。。

The Prince and Princess of Wales have revealed the name of their new
dog: Otto,
a brown spaniel born to their cocker spaniel Orla last May.
Kensington Palace announced the name on Friday with a new photo of Otto,
taken by the Princess of Wales, who is an avid photographer, posted to social media.
The image was accompanied by the caption, “Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today,” marking his first birthday.
Otto is not the only member of the family celebrating a birthday this time of year. Prince Louis just turned eight on April 23; his parents also shared a new photo and some videos to celebrate the big day. His sister, Princess Charlotte, will turn 11 this weekend on May 2. (Prince George, a summer baby, will turn 13 on July 22.)
Kate first mentioned the puppy in February, noting he was eight months old at the time, but the name had been kept private until now. Otto recently appeared alongside the family in a photo shared earlier this week to mark the Prince and Princess of Wales’s 15th wedding anniversary on April 29, with his head resting above Prince William’s in the image.
The Wales family previously had a cocker spaniel named Lupo, a wedding gift from Kate’s brother James Middleton. Lupo died unexpectedly in 2020, but they had already adopted Orla—a puppy at the time—that same year, in the hopes of keeping Lupo company. Otto came from a litter of Orla’s puppies, four of whom also featured in a photo posted to social media for William’s 43rd birthday last June.

Kate shared in February.
However, his name has been kept under wraps until now.

Orla
joined the Prince during his appearance in Eugene Levy's Apple TV+
series, The Reluctant Traveler, last October. The Prince spoke about his
and Kate's previous English Cocker Spaniel, Lupo, who sadly passed away
in November 2020.
"So [Orla's] actually the niece of
our other dog, Lupo, who sadly we lost in lockdown," William explained
to Eugene. The Schitts Creek star responded: "Were you there? When it
happened?" to which the Prince said: "Yeah we were all there sadly, it
was very sad."
