  • この日の朝には
  • 女王を筆頭にし
  • 英連邦首脳会議の開会式が行われ
  • 女王のスピーチも。

  • その中で、
  • 「父が始めた、この重要な仕事を、
  • チャールズ皇太子が引き継ぎ
  • 執り行うべきであるという決断が
  • なされることを心から願っています。」
  • と仰ったことが
  • 印象的でした。

  • こればかりは
  • 53カ国が選ぶこと、、、、
  • 女王が決めることはできません、、、
  • 死活問題ですね

  • そして、連日続いて
  • その重要な関連公務に
  • 登場したメーガンさん！

  • 前日同様
  • 同じくコモンウェルス関連のイベントですが
  • この日は、女性の権力向上に関するものと
  • メーガンさんにピッタリ。

  • スタイルの良さが引き立つドレスだなあ〜

  • ご結婚当初は、ボディコンシャスなドレスをお召しになってた。。

  • とはいえ、カナダで撮影されてた

  • スピーチをされた女王は、
  • 息子チャールズ皇太子が、
  • 引き続き、連邦のトップとして引き継ぐことを望む
  • とおっしゃいました。。。

  • During a significant speech, 
  • Her Majesty expressed her "sincere wish" that her son will succeed her as Head of the Commonwealth: “

  • “It remains a great pleasure and honour to serve you as Head of the Commonwealth and to observe, with pride and satisfaction, that this is a flourishing network. It is my sincere wish that the Commonwealth will continue to offer stability and continuity for future generations, and will decide that one day The Prince of Wales should carry on the important work started by my father in 1949.”

  • Before the summit began, Mr Johnson said he would use CHOGM to push for all countries to ensure that girls received at least 12 years of good quality education. "Improving education for girls could be the single most effective intervention in some of the world's poorest and most troubled countries. The figures are unbelievable. In some parts of sub-Saharan Africa you've got 60%, 70%, 80% illiteracy among women,"
