『Royal Ascot - Day 1』

今年もやってきました
この季節

ロイヤルアスコット！！！

そして
悲しいことに、
ワタシも行くはずだったのに、
ドタキャン、、、、

その日に
ズバリ！！！
キャサリン妃も登場したからあ〜〜〜〜
（ ;  ; ）

悔しいったらありゃしない。
しかし自業自得なので、ムカつくのは自分
本当ツメ甘いわ、、、

というわけで、来年！
と軽〜く言いたいが、
もはや
来年がどうなるかなんて考えられない、
お年頃？w

今できること、やりたいことはやっておかないと、
ってすごく思うのです。

だから前より
”一期一会”
発想が強くなっている。。

チャンスも一瞬一瞬って。

それはさておき、
昨年のエリザベス女王90歳の記念イヤーに
初めて出席された、
ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃
今年も再び
初日に登場！！！！

この日、実は

エリザベス女王は、
国会開会式にも出席！！

選挙の結果でね、、、

でもって、その後
ウィンザーへ戻られ、
お着替え
そしてアスコットへ！

それだけお楽しみにされてるということが、、、

馬車パレード
そして、通常なら
レース開始！
ですが、
この日は
先日起こった
グレンフェルタワービルディングの火災被害者たちへ

1分間の黙祷を。

After the procession at 2:10pm 
the racecourse fell silent as spectators and the royals observed a minute's silence in light of recent tragic events that have happened around the country, 
including the Grenfell Tower fire and the terror attacks in London and Manchester. 

Ascot Racecourse has also made a donation of £100,000 to the British Red Cross UK Solidarity and London fire relief funds and local charities, to support those affected.

アクシンデントが２つも！！

アクシデント①

馬車から降りようとして立ち上がったソフィーさんが
バランスを崩してキャサリン妃の方へ倒れそうに！

とっさにソフィーさんの身体を
受け止めようとされたキャサリン妃と
共にお顔を見合わせて大笑い。

お二人でも充分姦しい盛り上がり方に、
真の仲の良さを感じつつ、
また親近感も湧いてしまったり。

アクシンデント②

キャサリン妃のドレスの
スカート部分が透けちゃった！！！
お天気良すぎたからね〜

これが
1980年のダイアナさんを
思い起こさせることにも。。。

ウィリアム王子とともに、
勝利ジョッキーにトロフィーを授与されたりも。

In The Queen's message to racegoers she wrote "I always look forward to my time at Royal Ascot. In 1711, Queen Anne declared Ascot to be "ideal for horses to gallop at full stretch". Ever since, the finest horses have raced here and that will certainly be the case again this week".

Ascot is one of the Queen's favourite events of the year, and she has attended annually since the 1950s 

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh travelled in carriage 1 with The Duke of York and Lord Vestey

Her Majesty was predicted by the bookies to wear blue, but upset the odds by opting for green instead 

Carriage 2 arrived with The Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie while Peter and Autumn Phillips and Lord Fellowes and Lady Jane Fellowes travelled in Carriage 4. Of course Lady Jane is one of Diana's older sisters

William and Kate travelled in the third royal carriage today with The Earl and Countess of Wessex

Beatrice teamed her outfit with a dusky pink hat by London based Goldust Millinery

A minute's silence was held before the start of racing following the recent terror attacks and Grenfell Tower fire.

The racecourse says it will also make a £100,000 donation to charities helping those who have been affected. Racecourse chairman Johnny Weatherby said: "We have all been deeply saddened by recent tragic events around the country. At the beginning of this important week for racing, we wish to pay our respects to the victims and offer support to the families who have been so terribly affected."

”国会開会式”に出席された
エリザベス女王

先日の国民選挙に

ここ43年で初めて
伝統を破り
”the Imperial State Crown” と ”the Robe of State”
ではなく
デイドレス＋お帽子
というカジュアルな出で立ちで出席された。

しかも、
前夜
エディンバラ公が病院へ搬送されたことで、
急遽、
チャールズ皇太子が
女王に同行された。

な、な、なんと
帰国日の夜！

こちらでのイベントに参加させて頂きました〜！

最悪な天候で
当選者の多数の方々が来られなかったようで、残念でした

そんな中でもお越しいただいた方々には、
心から感謝しております。

戻ったばかりで、
まさにロンドン熱そのまま
だからこそ、当日トークなんてゆー無茶も
全然ヘーキでしたが。

現地で撮ってきた
ロイヤルファミリーの貴重なナマ動画や、
撮りたて今のロンドン画像を
お見せしましたが、
ちょっとでも行った気分、
もしくは
お楽しみいただいたなら嬉しいです。

このイベントのおかげで、
新たにチャレンジしたことなどもあったり、
ワタシにとっても
すごくいいきっかけとなったイベントでした。

毎度
こちらでのお仕事は楽しい❤️

本当は違う洋服で、
もっとサマーパーティーっぽく行く予定でしたが、
天候にあわず、やめました。
