チャールズ皇太子＆ダイアナ妃以来
30年後のロイヤル訪問というケロウナでは、
ブリティッシュコロンビア大学オカナガンキャンパス、
"Taste of BC" のイベントに出席。

ドタキャンとかもあり、
裏では複雑な想いも・・・でしょう。

そのあと、気分一新
ワイナリーにて
”カナダの食を楽しむフェスティバル”に出席
試食・試飲を楽しまれていました♪

そこから
ホワイトホース（ユーコン準州）
へ移動

カナディアンレンジャーのお出迎え、
地元の人々との交流や、
現地での伝統的パフォーマンスをご覧に。

そして今夜は
夫婦水入らずの夜
何と、３つ☆ホテル
に宿泊！！！

これ、
カナダ国民の税金を意識して？？

　FSHION〜〜！！！

前日のギャップ、
そして真っ赤なドレスSTYLEに
世界が、ワオ〜！！！
でしたが、

この日も、見た途端
可愛い！！！

なんとこれ、
”不思議の国のアリス”テーマ
本当のデザインには、
胸元に、懐中時計がゴールドで刺繍されていますが、
キャサリン妃のはビスポークで無しにアレンジ☆
上手い！！

これも、クラシックで
フェミニンで、ややガーリー
クイーンチェックも入らない、膝丈だし。
とってもエレガントで、キャサリン妃らしくって、
これも最高ですね！

わざと高く張り出した肩のパフデザインがさすが！
ブランド力とはこういうところに感じます。

これ欲しくなるなあ〜〜❤️
ワタシの色ではないので、セーフ（笑）

そして、何がすごいって、
後ほど、上にコートを羽織られますが、
着まわしアイテムと、
ニュードレスの色が、
同ブランドか？！ってくらい合っている。

出席予定の
先住民のトップらしき方が
朝、ドタキャンしたとか、、、
失礼、、とかのレベルではない
難しい問題。

However the visit was marred by controversy.

The couple were apparently snubbed by a prominent First Nations leader who had been due to take part in Tuesday's engagements.

Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, Okanagan Nation Alliance Chairman and Spokesperson, had been due to join the royal couple on stage at the university's 10th anniversary celebrations but pulled out this morning.

He was replaced in the welcome line up by Chief Jonathan Kruger from the local Penticton Indian Band.

It came hours after Grand Chief Phillip refused to attend an historic reconciliation ceremony with William and Kate at Government House in Victoria.

フェスティバルに参加されたお二人。

おつまみ的なお料理を試食して回られた。

授業の一環として
子供のシェフたちも。

Young chefs were invited to take part in a demonstration at the festival and Kate stopped in to speak with them

tasted a number of local delicacies at the festival, served by some of the country's most renowned chefs

Kate looks a little unsure as she samples one local dish - although William seems more than happy to give it a try

最初に食べたものはイマイチだったそうですが、
後で食べた、日本人シェフの
ナマの刺身風は美味しかったそうです。
さすが繊細な日本人のお料理！

'Presentationally they are quite challenging,'
But chef Ned Bell told them:
'They are getting more popular all the time.'

the raw version on Mr Bell’s stand, having been transformed into thinly sliced BC wild geoduck sashimi, garnished with a Miso Mustard Sauce.

'There is a slightly firmer texture to this,'

said the duchess.

'It’s really unusual. I've never seen it before. It's so fresh from the sea.'

The chef said:

'It is an extraordinary species. You can eat the body, but you can also eat the neck raw, which is what they ate.

Demonstrating an expert command of chopsticks, William tastes some of the locally sourced sushi on offer

revealed her domestic credentials when she said curry was one of her favourite dishes to whip up in the kitchen - but told the chef she was glad it was not a vindaloo because the hot dish is 'too much for me'

moved onto the drinks (right) and Kate tried Aquivat, which is a vodka-style spirit infused with aromatic herbs and spices at one stall

didn't seem too keen on the local tipple and was seen moments later with a handkerchief over her mouth
