《ウェストミンスター公爵 突然死》

先日、
ケンブリッジ家がホリデーに向かう際
お借りになったジェット機
その持ち主は
ウェストミンスター公爵
（Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor）氏
でしたが、
なんと
昨日9日(火)
突然お亡くなりになったのだそうです。
 
心臓発作だそうです。

まだお若かったのよねえ。。。
64才 
とっても貫禄あったので
もっと上かと思いきや。

英王室とは
家族ぐるみのおつきあいだっただけに、
悲しみは大きいよう。

本日、すぐに
ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃が、
パレスを通じて
声明を発表されました。

In a statement through their Kensington Palace office 
William and Kate said: 
‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were very sad to learn of the Duke of Westminster’s passing yesterday. Their thoughts are very much with his family this morning.’

そして、
同時に話題となっているのが、
相続人！

一人息子の
《Hugh Grosvenor》
25才！！！

この方といえば、そう
ジョージ王子のゴッドファーザー
 でもありまする。

この方が相続する資産（領地）
９億ポンド！！！

 何せ
英国で３番目のお金持ち

お姉さまが
３人いらっしゃいますが、
男子はこの方お一人
25才でいきなり
第７代ウェストミンスター公爵に。

悲しみと責任が
同時に。。

当然、これまで家継ぎとして
意識して教育されてこられたとは思うものの、
すごい事だなあ。

なんという重責。。。

お悔やみを申し上げます。

The Duke was a mentor to Prince William and his wife, Natalia (also known as Tally) is William's godparent; she was also a close friend of Diana, Princess of Wales. Diana was godmother for Lady Edwina, one of the Duke's daughters (photo below). The Duke's son, Hugh Grosvenor, is godfather to Prince George. William, Kate & Harry all spent time at some of the Duke's private properties.
 
He was a member of the Order of the Garter.

《バッキンガムに酔っ払い侵入！》

またまたバッキンガムパレスに侵入者！！

 22才の青年が
早朝
at 4.15am
フェンスを越え、侵入したらしい。

ちなみに酔っ払ってたそうな。

モーションセンサー＆セキュリティワイヤーが反応し
CCTVカメラに写り
ロイヤルプロテクションオフィサー達に逮捕された。
 
14分ほどうろうろしていたところ
捕まえられ警察で聴取

クイーンは只今スコットランド滞在中
王族のどなたもいらっしゃらず、
又しても事なきを得た。

しかし多いな。。。
