 昨日の前夜式典に引き続き、
 この日が正式な記念日

”ソンムの戦い”開始日から100年☆

100年前のこの日
1916年7月1日
歴史上最大の被害者を出した戦いが起きた。

この初日1日だけで、
2万人の死者、そして倍の負傷者がでたそうです。

ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃、ハリー王子は
仏フランソワ・オランド大統領と一緒に
新たなミュージアムをオープン

to the Missing Visitors Centre』

 その後
チャールズ皇太子、キャメロン首相などに合流し
国家的追悼式典に出席

to mark the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme

@ the Thiepval Memorial

そして、
英国とフランスの子供達が、
それぞれの対国の
7万人もの英国＆連合軍の兵士たちのお墓に
献花も。

その子供達とお話もされた、
お三方。


２日目の
正式な追悼式のために
キャサリン日が選ばれたのは
 NEWのレースのドレス 

とっても素敵！！！

ブランド詳細が、珍しく
一向に明らかになりませんが、
これはアレキサンダー・マックイーンに違いない。
   完全なるBespokeだから 
判明しないんでしょう。

レースのクオリティ、
おそらくこのシチュエーションの為に？でしょう
裏地をあえて黒にしたところ
肩付けデザイン・シルエット
マックイーン以外にあり得るかしら。。
 とにかく
サイコーですね。
 ペプラムだけは、キャサリン妃に合わせた？って感じですが。

久々、欲しい〜〜〜！！！
って思わせてくれるドレスだ。

the new Thiepval Museum

 The Visitor Centre welcomes over 150,000 people to the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing each year. At the Visitor Centre the memorial is put in the context of the battlefield. Display panels in three languages — English, French and German — provide an overview of the course of the Great War from 1914-1918. Display panels focus on events during the Battle of the Somme in 1916 which occurred at the small village of Thiepval and its surroundings

A graphic mural lines the wall of the Thiepval centre, telling the history of the battles in the Somme countryside

given a tour of the visitors' centre at the Thiepval Memorial. The royals seemed fascinated by relics from the trenches displayed under a glass floor, including shell cases, sections of barbed wire, boots and horseshoes

walk past the names of some of the soldiers killed at the Somme without known graves. The walls bear the names of 72,194 officers and men of the United Kingdom and South African forces who died in the bloody offensive

 

 

The royals joined political leaders including Prime Minister David Cameron, the Irish President Michael D Higgins, and French President François Hollande. Princess Anne's husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, was also there in his capacity as trustee of the Commonwealth Graves Commission

 The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery pass the group of dignitaries, including Prince William, Charles, Harry, Kate Middleton and David Cameron (pictured cente) as the service of remembrance gets underway. The procession was watched by more than 10,000 guests

French guards arrive for the service at in Thiepval as part of the commemorations for the Battle of the Somme

Kensington Palace shared this photo with the appropriate caption 
"At the going down of the sun and in the morning; We will remember them."

Poppies and Cornflowers, the French flowers of Rememberance, were dropped from the air during the service

all sing as part of the service of remembrance. Organisers said the event was designed to tell the story of the Battle of the Somme through music, readings and hymns accompanied by the BBC Orchestra

Prince Harry appeared to be overcome with emotion as he sat through the centenary service for the Battle of the Somme this afternoon. Harry was a former officer in the British Army and has also celebrated his close links with the military community

As part of the service, schoolchildren laid wreaths at the graves of soldiers killed during the battle. The 600 UK, Irish and French schoolchildren involved in the service are taking part in an educational programme organised by the British Council

spent time speaking to some of the schoolchildren who laid wreaths at the graves of the fallen soldiers. French pupils left flowers at the graves of fallen English soldiers, while English children returned the act of respect for the French

toured the cemetery together, speaking to schoolchildren who were laying wreaths on the graves of soldiers. The cemetery, which has an equal number of French and English graves, represents the shared sacrifice of these two nations in the Great War

って言われたけど、

そーゆーの多いのよね
ワタシ結構出てるのかしら？？

どうやらそうぽいっけど
知らない。
これも言われなきゃ、もちろん知らない。

反応とか結果も大事なんだろうけど
その余裕もないし、
それより次のことを最善に。

 って、かっこよく言ってるけど、
ただただ余裕ない、
ほぼ毎日書いてますからw
必死っす。

 でも、
このダイアナ妃原稿、
前日まで旅に出てて、
戻ってなんだか風邪っぽいし、
鼻水＆くしゃみ止まんなくて
しかもネタは浮かばず、、、、
悩んだ挙句に、この切り口に決め
そっから画像選びやな書きやら
超時間かかって
しかも、
ど深夜に、書いた半分が消えちゃうってゆー
ボケをかまし
やる気なくす↓ってか、
心も体も壊れた。

もうイヤだーーーーーーーー！！！のマックス。

翌日ももちろん↓↓のまま
そしたら、こんな連絡。。。。
救われた感

いつも
あ〜〜〜もう限界！やめたい！！
って思うと、こんなことが起こる。

見える＆見えないものや人に支えられてる、、、と思う瞬間です。

そして、またともかく続ける。
の繰り返し。

それにしてもスゴイ！！！
