spent the afternoon hosting a special reception for the Red Roses at Windsor Castle

ラグビー・フットボール協会のパトロン
この日、イングランド🏴女子ラグビーの代表選手たちを招待し
レセプションを開催
🏴女子ラグビーチーム(レッドローズ)は、
昨年9月のワールドカップで、カナダを(33-13)破り優勝🏆
トロフィーを称賛し、選手たちと親交を深められました。
訪問の一環として、レッドローズたちは
キャサリン妃との対面前に
ウィンザー城内の見学が予定されていたそうなのだが
移動中にバスが故障という
なんとも、英国らしい？！笑
ハプニングにより、中止になったとか。
キャサリン妃は、ウィンザー城まで
ご自身が運転するお車で到着され
降りた後も、
傘を受け取り、ご自身でさして中へ
と、これが好印象に❤️
また、選手たちとの会話の中で
「ジョージにタックルされたくないと思いますよ」
と息子の宣伝もして笑
revealed she loves playing rugby at home with her children.
“Charlotte
is playing rugby but at home with the family, so she isn’t yet at
school. Rugby is so accessible,” Catherine said. “Louis is playing touch
rugby and it’s such a great game. Actually, they shouldn’t necessarily
need to pigeonhole boys and girls in particular sports too early.
“Obviously
as they get physically stronger – George now, if we play at home, I do
not want to get tackled by George! But, up to a certain age I think it’s
great.”

The Princess of Wales was spotted driving herself to an engagement at Windsor Castle
Kate hosted the winning women's rugby squad and senior leadership of the
RFU, with the World Cup trophy taking centre stage at the reception
The Princess of Wales met with players including Abbie Dow and Holly
Aitchison (both back right) during the reception at Windsor Palace
The Red Roses were supposed to be given a tour of Windsor Castle as part
of the visit, but this was cancelled after their coach broke down on
the way

The team wore matching Red Roses branded suits and brought their gold medals to the meeting with Kate
