前日、リメンバランス・サンデーには
ロンドン、追悼記念碑にて
追悼式典が行われ
国王を筆頭に、高位メンバーが出席されましたが、
翌日のこの日も
キャサリン妃はスタッフォードシャー州
アルルワスにある
国立記念樹木園＝ 英国の国民的慰霊施設
で行われた式典に出席
キャサリン妃ファッション！
追悼といえば、もちろん
ブラックスタイル
《キャサリン・ウォーカー》
のドレスコートは、
2020年と2023年の戦没者追悼式典で
着用されたものを着まわし。
今回が、３度目
しかし、雰囲気を変えて、
皇太子妃らしい、貫禄と品格漂うスタイルに。
王室にとって、ミリタリー イベントは重要行事
それに合わせて、ユニフォームを思わせるデザインのドレスコートは
皇太子妃の鉄板アイテム
戦没者追悼式典用として、作られているようで
その中での着まわしも増えてきました。
ハッキリ顔立ちのキャサリン妃には
伝統的かつコンサバデザインや
こういう、ユニフォーム的なデザインが
とてもお似合い。
それは、この日デビューのNEW帽子のチカラ
《ジェーン・テイラー》
の大きなツバの帽子が超エレガント❤️
ファシネーターよりも、帽子型の方が
格が上がって見えますねえ〜
最近、もっぱら、こちらのタイプが増えているキャサリン妃
でも、そのお帽子を、
ずっと手で押さえていらしたのも印象的
風が強かったのか、それとも留まりが緩かったのか、、
頭部分が、浅めだから、しっかり上手く留めないと
安定しなくて、飛んじゃいそうだもんね、、、
マストのポピーブローチは
前日同様、《ロック＆コー》のデザイナーが手作りしたもの
グローブにブーツは、使い回し。
ジュエリーは、この日は珍しくルビー
ポピーとリンクしていて納得だけど
これは、今年5月のVE dayの日の公務時、初お披露目され
その4ヶ月後の9月、トランプ大統領の訪英時にも
再び着用。
お帽子に合わせて、アシメトリーにまとめた
アップスタイルのヘアも素敵❤️
