団体がどのように、利用者をサポートし、

また自殺意識が芽生えた人達をサポートしているかをヒアリング。

ウィリアム皇太子は、

ショックを受けられたそう。。

The Prince and Princess’s first visit of the day was to PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland (PIPS Charity) in Belfast which works across communities in the city and throughout Northern Ireland to provide crisis support for those at risk of suicide and self-harm.

During their visit, Their Royal Highnesses spoke with PIPS Charity staff and counsellors about the life-saving work that the charity provides to service users and how the organisation has worked to remove all possible barriers to support those experiencing suicidal thoughts.

終了後、外に出て

沿道の人達と触れ合っている際、1人の女性が、

「会えて嬉しいです」

という言葉と笑顔で、キャサリン妃と握手。。。。

その後続いた言葉は

「もし貴女の国でなら良かったですが。」

「🇮🇪アイルランドはアイルランド人のものです」

と付け加えた。

しかも同時に、撮影し続けながら。。。

撮影されながらの、突然のコメント、、、、

ロイヤルは本当に大変です。。。

私の個人的感想は

PIPS (Public Initiative for Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm)

The charity was founded in 2003 following the devastating loss of fourteen young people to suicide in Belfast the previous year. Amidst the heartbreak and tragedy, leading figures from across the city came together to focus on offering support when people need it most. A range of tailored services offered include suicide prevention, counselling and bereavement support.

PIPS was founded in 2003 following the loss of 14 young people to suicide in Belfast over a short period of time the previous year. Compelled to act, stakeholders from across the city came together to try to tackle the issue.

Upon their arrival at PIPS charity, 12-year-old Elyse Quinn, the daughter of the charity's executive director Renee Quinn, presented the princess with a bouquet of flowers

William expressed surprise when he heard that someone so young had thought about ending their life.

'To have that awareness at four years old to do that is really quite shocking,'
