 現在
ジョージ王子とシャーロット王女は
ロンドンのプライベートスクール
”Thomas's Battersea”
に登校中（所属）

このスクールは、
13歳まで教育を提供しているが
ケンブリッジ公爵ご夫妻は
ここで一貫教育ではなく
次の中等教育の
パブリックスクールへ
通わせることを検討されているとか。

現在6歳で、
今月で7歳となるジョージ王子

 特に、第一子で未来の国王の進路について
葛藤中、、、、
そりゃあそうですわねえ

 というのも、
ウィリアム王子は、
8歳でボーディングスクールへ。

 そこでの時間がとても楽しく、良い思い出となっているそうで
のちに続く、”人生の友”も
そこで出来たのだそう。

 寄宿学校なのだから、
もちろんご家族と離れて生活

 これを8歳で、というのは、
日本人にはびっくりしますよね〜

その間、ご両親や
ダイアナ妃も毎週末、訪問されていたというが、
それにしても、すごい。

 さすが自立の国、英国。

 とはいえ、
時期や、性格など、それぞれのお子様に合わせて
判断されるとのこと。

によれば

 現代的な両親として、お二人は
とても慎重に検討される
お二人は
子供達の人格形成がもう少しなされるのを待って
果たして、自宅を離れて生活することが適しているかどうかを
熟考されるだろう、と見ている。

 そして ”ボーディングスクール”という、
ロイヤルの伝統すらを
破る（入れない）判断も視野に入れた上で、
それぞれの子供に合わせた
決断をされるだろうと見られている。

なにせ
ウィリアム王子ご自身が、子供の頃に母を亡くすという
トラウマとなる経験をされていることから
子供のメンタルヘルスに
とても気を配られていることもあり。

昨今では、王室に関することで
伝統が破られることにも慣れてきた空気があり、
もしケンブリッジ公爵ご夫妻が、
異なる新たな道を選ばれても
さほど驚きはないだろう、とも。

 ご夫妻の視点は
もし子供たちが今の学校でハッピーならば、
わざわざ変える必要もない、とお考えのはず。

 しかしながら、
ご夫妻としては、
ボーディングスクールの方をお好みの可能性も。

 これには、私がびっくり！
キャサリン妃が、常に家族一緒派かと思っていた。
が、英国人で、ご自身もボーディングスクール経験者
子供たちのためを思うと、
そうでなかったとは。
むしろ感動

しかも、理由として
ボーディングスクール入学は
ロイヤルに対するスポットライトから逃れて
お子様たちが自由に生活を楽しめ、
かつ、安全に生活がおくれる、から。

 なるほど、過ぎる。。

ちなみに、
ウィリアム王子は
ラドグローブ・スクール（8〜13歳）へ入学

一方は、
チャールズ皇太子は
父エディンバラ公の母校
スコットランドのゴードンストウンで寄宿舎生活。

 のちに、ここでの生活のことを、
”悲惨だった”と語られた。

同じ階級の生徒たちがいなかったことで
からかわれ、イジメられた模様。

 そりゃあ辛い、、、、

 そんな経験が
ウィリアム王子の学校選びにも関係していると思われる。

 世代でも、こんな違いがあるように
兄妹でもやはり個性の違いというものが。。

 ジョージ王子とシャーロット王女の性格も
違うようですしね〜

明らかに、ジョージ王子は
シャーロット王女よりシャイ

 ウィリアム王子も、シャイのように見られるけれど
6歳のプリンスは
かなりわんぱくな少年（笑）

 それゆえに、ボーディングスクールも肌にあっていたらしいけれど
果たしてジョージ王子は？？
時期にもよりますが、、

 どちらかというと、
ジョージ王子は、ウィリアム王子よりも
チャールズ皇太子似かも？？

 一方、
自信満々なシャーロット王女は
向いてそうですね。。

 Majesty Magazine's 《Ingrid Seward》
tells OK! magazine that she believes Kate and William will make the decision based on each individual child, but believes they will happily break from the royal boarding school tradition.

 "Kate and William are modern parents and will weigh up the decision very carefully. I think they’ll wait to see how the children’s personalities develop, and take into consideration whether or not they would be happy to live away from home.

 "Having experienced terrible trauma in his own childhood, William is very tuned in to his children’s mental health.

 "We’re used to seeing the royals breaking with tradition these days so it won’t be a huge shock if they do things their way. I think William and Kate’s view will be, if the children are happy in their school, why change things."

 But she believes Kate and William may favour the boarding school option, as it means he'll be able to live in that bubble away from the royal spotlight.

 "If I was Kate though, I’d feel more secure if George, as heir to the throne, was tucked away at boarding school. He’ll have more freedom there and he’ll be very protected from any outside dangers."

Prince Charles and Princess Diana opted to sent William and brother Harry to Ludgrove School in Berkshire, and they both boarded from a young age.

 The Wales boys loved their time at the school, a stark contrast to Charles - who attended Gordonstoun in Scotland in line with his father Prince Philip's wishes - and described the experience as "disastrous".

 However, Ingrid also notes that the Cambridge children seem to have different personalities - with George more shy than his little sister Charlotte.

 She said: "Charlotte appears very confident and would suit the boarding school environment.

 "But George is a shy little boy, so he might not have the right character for it just yet. William was very boisterous at six, but perhaps George is more like his grandfather Charles, who was quite the shrinking violet."

Prince George is currently a pupil at Thomas’s Battersea, a £6,158-a-term co-educational school in south-west London, where he can stay for another seven years. Both Marlborough and £13,556-a-term Eton take full-time boarders from the age of 13.

'Hi everyone. I hope you're all safe and well, wherever you are in the world and that you're looking out for each other, which I have no doubt you are. I am so incredibly proud to be part of these awards as they honour the legacy of my mother and bring out the very best in people like you.

Prince Charles's birthday garden party in May 2018, but Lady Colin Campbell claims things didn't go as smoothly as well-wishers thought 


Lady Colin Campbell claims in her new book that the Duchess of Sussex's rift with other members of The Firm occurred after she told Prince Harry she was 'bored' at the garden party hosted for Prince Charles' 70th birthday and asked if they could leave after 15 minutes.
The gentleman tells Prince Harry: 'You have been called for', before gesturing over to Prince Charles who moves over and Harry moves towards him.  
Harry then steps to one side while his father says something quietly into his ear, placing a hand on his arm. 
According to a lipreader, Prince Charles explained: 'We are going now, We have to leave....' 
Harry nods and gestures ahead of him before patting his father on the back, saying: 'You go ahead,' and returning to Meghan.
Prince Charles goes on to say: 'We will go now...see you later.'
Meanwhile Prince Harry adds: 'Yes, catch up...after.' 
The couple go on to say their goodbyes to Camilla, who tells Meghan: 'Just coming to say goodbye...we will see you later.'
The couple go on to walk back into the palace, leaving the party.  
One user commented: 'And #themarkles were asked to leave 40 min in because of Meghan's behaviour? They were escorted out along with their entourage. M was not happy!' 
Another added:'Can anyone lip read what Harry said to Charles , he didn't look happy.'
A third commented: 'Looks like Charles tells Harry to leave, Charles doesn't say goodbye to Meghan.' 
However, an expert lipreader told FEMAIL that the exchange between the couples was actually 'polite' and 'there wasn't any evidence of angst' between them.  
The video emerged ahead of the release of Lady C's new book, Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, in which she documents the fall-out from the event.
Lady C previously told the Daily Star that the first 'warning' something wasn't quite right came at the garden party in question.
According to Lady Campbell, the event was marked by Meghan who did something that 'astonished' an attendee with 'impeccable palace connections' . 
She said: 'We were all absolutely gobsmacked and astonished, we all thought this doesn't bode well.'

In other news today, it has been confirmed the Duke and Duchess have signed with the New York-based Harry Walker agency. The prestigious agency represents the Obamas and Clintons in addition to a host of well-known names. Some time ago, we discussed how speaking engagements and a deal with a streaming giant like Netflix seemed the most obvious route to take moving forward. Harper's Bazaar reports:
'Per the outlet, going forward, the royal couple will engage in moderated discussions, keynote speeches, and community forums as they begin their careers away from the ties of the royal family and the British monarchy.
BAZAAR can confirm that Harry and Meghan have no plans to partake in any speaking engagements regarding the royal family and have signed solely with Harry Walker. The Sussexes are not attached to any other agencies for any other purposes.'
A source confirms to BAZAAR.com that once the Sussexes are able to return to in-person work, the couple is expected to participate and focus on engagements that highlight social issues and causes important to them and the world, such as racial justice, gender equity, and environmental preservation and concerns. All three aforementioned subjects are causes that both Harry and Meghan promoted during their work as active senior royals. The couple is also expected to speak on mental health, another topic that Harry has remained vocal about in recent years. 

I'm looking forward to hearing Harry and Meghan's plans and seeing them continue to support amazing organisations like Homeboys Industries.
