The Cambridges will usually bring their children - George, six, Charlotte, four and Louis, one - with them and play in the garden.
The pub is one of their favourite haunts, so much so that its former landlord, John Haley, was invited to their Westminster Abbey wedding on April 29, 2011.
Kate's family are all regulars; her parents Carole and Michael, and her sister Pippa, who recently visited the pub with her husband James Matthews.
Carole, 64, is said to pop in twice a week for a glass of Pinot Noir.
In the early days after their wedding, it was reported in a 2011 documentary that William liked to surprise punters by attending local pub quizzes while he worked as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.
the landlord of the Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley near Bucklebury, Berkshire, apparently revealed that Kate and Prince William paid the establishment a recent visit. Andre Claassen said, "I think they like coming here because people leave them alone. No one bothers them or asks for selfies."
Claassen also described Prince William as "very friendly" and revealed that Kate regularly takes the couple's three children outside to play, which is beyond adorable
also explained, "When George is here, he wears a camouflage outfit. You have to pretend like you can't see him. Charlotte's very cute." He continued, "She plays in the garden with my partner Rebecca's daughter. One time we had a coach full of Dutch tourists out there with them and no one even knew who they were, because they always just look like an ordinary family."
Per the report, Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews, have also apparently been spotted at the venue, as have the Middleton parents, Carole and Michael.

two-hour visit on Sunday told The Sun:
'They were on a table with, I presume, a private secretary.
'Meghan was cradling Archie most of the time. The little lad was as good as gold, I didn't hear him cry once while he was there.
'No other customers recognised them. The staff clearly knew who they were but kept the service low-key.'
The Rose & Crown boasts online of its 'legendary' Sunday roast, which includes chicken, pork, beef or a nut roast.

《ケンブリッジ公爵夫妻 ”Royal Foundation”の名前変更！》

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s charity has been officially renamed, removing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the title.
Documents published by Companies House on Tuesday show William and Kate’s foundation is now
“The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.
“The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.
A fee of £10 was paid to Companies House by William and Kate’s charity to file the “Notice of change of name by resolution”, just 14 months after they amended the name to include Meghan when she married into the royal family.
The Royal Foundation has yet to update the title on its website, which still also features images of the Sussexes.
William, Kate, Harry and Meghan’s joint venture was intended to harness the star power of the four high-profile royals.
They were dubbed the Fab Four after taking to the stage together at the first – and so far only – Royal Foundation forum in London in February 2018.
At the time, Harry said “working as family does have its challenges”, but insisted “we’re stuck together for the rest of our lives”.
The Sussexes’ plan for their own separate charity was unveiled in June this year, and last week they appointed influential media executive Karen Blackett, chairwoman of MediaCom UK, as their first trustee.
