毎年恒例の
”カウズ ウィーク”
（世界最古で最大のセーリングレガッタ）
に先駆けて開催された。
お二人が主催のレースが開催。
40フィート(約12m)の長さのセーリングボート
8隻でのレース
その8隻は
ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃が
パトロンとなられている
４つづつ、
計８つのチャリティを象徴。
このイベントを通じて集まった資金から得た利益が
各チャリティへ。

1920年にジョージ5世が授与された
歴史的トロフィーが、
授与されました！
それにしても
日程早めても
とっても空はグレー
これより悪天候の可能性があったんでしょうから、
そりゃあ危ない、、、
冷や冷や、、、もんですねえ、
スタッフは。。
まず、到着された際には、
もうちょっとお天気もマシそうだったが
その時の
キャサリン妃FASHIONは〜〜！！！
きっとマリンテイストでしょう
と思いきや、やはり！！

新鮮〜〜
足めっちゃ出てます！
たくましい、というか、鍛えてて美しい脚！！！❤️
しかも、
ムスティク島で焼けた肌が
キュッと引き締め効果で
とっても健康的に見える❤️
よく見たら、めっちゃ焼けてるよね？（笑）
素敵です〜
髪も、久々に、かなりライトで明るいですね〜
ケバく見えないのも
やはり焼けてるから、でしょう。

お子様たちも同行か、、、
ミドルトン家の両親が、子供達の面倒も。

なんかあったら、、、あっちゃいけない。
当のプリンスは

笑顔がキュートすぎ！！❤️
しかも、前回からまた増えた、

お隣にいる、お友達も

どうやらレースは二回
行われたようで
1度目は
ウィリアム王子が3位
キャサリン妃7位
2度目のレースでは、なんと
キャサリン妃チームは、フライングで失格に。
よって、最終的な結果は
ウィリアム王子が3位
キャサリン妃が最下位
ちなみに
優勝チームは
”Tusk”
（ウィリアム王子のチャリティ）
歴史的な
ジョージ5世のトロフィーを授与された、
ウィリアム王子はシャンパンを贈られ
キャサリン妃は、
最下位の定番賞品
＝
ウッドスプーン
をもらい、
お隣のウィリアム王子に
イジられるキャサリン妃
そういうところがむしろ
ラブラブ感を感じる瞬間❤️
どうやら、
キャサリン妃の人生において
最下位は初めての経験だったよう、、、笑
すごいね、
さすがスポーツ万能少女

これで本日終わり、、、と思いきや
まだあった！

表彰式の前に起こった出来事ですが、
情報が最後に出てきて大盛り上がり。

やはり最後はこの人

主役の座を持ってった（笑）
キャサリン妃や、キャロルさん
側近のキャサリンさんまでもが
皆でお手ふりを促すも
気乗りしないシャーロット王女
挙げ句の果てに彼女がとった行動は、、、
あっかんべー（笑）
直後のキャサリン妃の行動も可愛かった❤️
これも成長の証ですねえ〜。
前は、とにかくいつでもどこでも愛想よく
国民へお手振り、が基本の優等生っぷりでしたが
徐々に、ノーティーぶりが（笑）
これがいいの〜〜❤️
ますます可愛い。

Due to adverse weather conditions, the King's Cup will now take place tomorrow at 2 pm instead of Friday. The annual sailing event will see William and Kate go head to head as skippers in support of eight of their patronages.
Kensington Palace said:
"The Duke and Duchess are strong advocates for sport, and have undertaken work both in the UK and overseas to highlight the positive impact that sport can have on the individual and within local communities.
The Duchess in particular champions how the benefits of sport, nature and the outdoors can impact childhood development, and lead to improved physical and mental wellbeing for all.
Their Royal Highnesses hope that The King’s Cup will become an annual event, bringing greater awareness to the wider benefits of sport, whist also raising support and funds for the causes that the Duke and Duchess support."

The winning team will be awarded The King’s Cup, a historic trophy first presented by King George V at Cowes’ Royal Yacht Squadron in 1920.

There were two races in total. In the first, William finished third and Kate seventh. In the second race Kate's boat was disqualified for starting too early, meaning they came last. William's team took third joint place in the end. The Tusk team led by Bear Grylls claimed first place in the end

'There was competition on the high seas, a comical prize-giving, and one very realistic pirate. In short: everything needed for a fun family day out. So when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to work to raise a million pounds for charity in their inaugural King’s Cup sailing race, it was just as well Prince George and Princess Charlotte were on hand to make it a day to remember.
As the Duchess shook her head, compère Dan Snow said: “This is the first time the Duchess has ever finished last in anything, I can guarantee. So you’d better enjoy it because it will never happen again.”
Accepting the winners’ trophy, Grylls spoke of the “incredible work” of Tusk and praised the Duke and Duchess’ “vision and inspiration” in setting up the event. In an unexpected aside, he added from the stage: “And also, Prince George: your first ant you ate today! And that is a great moment. Well done you. What a guy!”

The day of sailing was organised with the Royal Yacht Squadron. The clubhouse is located in Cowes Castle and has been at the heart of sailing for over two centuries. Her Majesty is patron of the RYS and Prince Philip is the club's Admiral.
The winning team were awarded The King’s Cup, a historic trophy first presented by King George V at Cowes’ Royal Yacht Squadron in 1920. Just two years before the video above was filmed.
