乗馬センターを訪問

ここは、
セラピーなどを含め
スペシャルな援助を必要とする子供達をサポートしている。

最初は、1人から始まり
16年で、今や100人の子供たちを支援しているのだそう。

お二人は、設立者の方や、
こちらに関連しているメンタルヘルスの代表たちとお会いに。

そして
乗馬のデモンストレーションをご覧になったりも。

お次は、ラバトの
"Villa des Ambassadors"
（ヴィラ・デ・アンバサダーズ）へ。

ここで行われた

クッキング デモンストレーションをご覧に。

昨年、ハリー王子はすでにお会いになったことのある

シェフの案内により、

お2人は、モロッコの伝統料理を試食

スパイシーフードや、モロッコ伝統の料理

鳩の肉を使ったミートパイ、バスティラも試食。

お料理好きのメーガン妃は、

興味津々で味見

メーガン妃は、昨年出版のチャリティ料理本を

シェフは自身の料理本を、それぞれプレゼントも。

お料理を通じて

子供達の支援も行っており

この日参加した、小さなシェフ達ともご対面。

超カジュアルスタイルで登場された

メーガン妃＆メーガン妃は、

ここでお着替えを。

なぜここで？とは思ったりもw

それはさておき、

”アンダルシアン・ガーデンズ“で開かれていた

マーケットをご覧に。

モロッコのアートやクラフトを通して

若者達の地位向上のため、

起業家たちを支援。

ここで、ネックレスをプレゼントされたメーガン妃。

首にかける祭、

ハリー王子が、ポニーテールを持ってあげるという

さりげない優しさ。

さすがプリンス、英国紳士の鑑！

そりゃあアメリカ人はキュンときますわねw

私もですが笑

最後は、

モロッコ国王との謁見で締め

お出迎えは、15歳の皇太子。

すごいなあ、それにしても、この方。

離婚が噂されるも、正式発表は無い、王妃、元王妃？

のお姿は、やはり見えず、、、。

では、ファッション〜！！

この1日だけで、なんと3スタイル！

アウトドアの超カジュアルスタイル

カーキのフィールドJK＋ボーダー、スキニー

から始まり

上を脱ぎ、ボーダー。マタニティで、妊娠8ヶ月

それでボーダーは、なかなかのもん。

さすがエキップモン、

ラグランの袖付けや、

トレンド感ある、ややゆったりサイズも手伝って

意外と視覚効果で、スッキリ見えたりも？

ポニーテールといい、

実はとっても可愛いスタイル

そのあと、マーケットなのに、お二人とも

スマートなファッションにお着替え

ザ・メーガン妃！的なスタイリッシュなスタイル

白のノーカラーJKは、

婚約前ポロの試合観戦の際、お召しになっていた、

着まわし。

中には、黒のビスチェドレス？かと思いきや

スパゲッティ付きのプリーツドレス。

モノクロのカラーコーデといい、

プリーツでテントラインという、ドレスのデザインといい

マタニティにはピッタリの上級コーデ

お腹は目立たず、産後も大活躍のスタイル

さすがです〜！

そして、最後

国王にお会いになるシーンでは、

やはりフルレングスのソワレで。

モロッコの街並みを思わせる、ブルーベースのドレスが、

美しく映えていました。

やはり、メーガン妃は、

寒色の方が似合う、、、

と、私は思う。

終始、お2人がリラックスされていて、

見ていても、ナチュラルにラブラブを感じました。

もちろんだけど、やっぱり愛し合っていらしゃるんだなぁ、と。

ファッションも、

ソワレもあれば、

新旧アイテムがミックスされたスタイルと

色々あって、突っ込む要素なく笑

ホッとする一日w

そして、翌日

お2人は帰国の途へ。

began their day in Morocco visiting an Equestrian Center, 

which support children with special needs with therapy

Harry and Meghan learned about their programmes supporting children with special needs and met representatives from mental health organisations involved. They met the centre's founder Louis Broski. Speaking to The Mirror, Mr Broski said: "It was a challenge, I started with one child, but now 16 years later we have 100 children. My aim is for all disabled children to be fully integrated into Moroccan society." Meghan replied "That is just so important, and this is just a gorgeous space you have here".

Harry and Meghan viewed a riding demonstration and discussed caring for the horses with teachers and children. During a grooming session, the couple noticed a Shetland pony named Molly was shaking. 
Harry asked 
"Has anyone got carrots. She's a bit nervous". 
Meghan added: 
"We all get camera shy. I understand".

Villa des Ambassadors in Rabat for a cooking demonstration

The couple saw how traditional Moroccan cuisine is supporting young people and teaching children from under-privileged backgrounds a new skill. Meghan is passionate about food bringing people and communities together. During the launch of Grenfell cookbook Together, she said: "This is more than a cook book and what I mean by that is the power of food is more than just the meal itself it is the story behind it. And when you get to know the story behind the recipe, you get to know the person behind it and help us celebrate what connects us rather than divides us. That is the ethos of Together."

A group of young chefs from Hadaf.

'Hadaf supervises 85 people suffering from moderate or mild developmental disabilities, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

"It all started with my daughter, who has a mental disability," says Amina Mseffer, president of the association. When she could not put her daughter at school because people were scared to have a disabled person with the other children, Mseffer said, she decided to put her in a special institution. But this was expensive, and stops when the person is 21 years old.

So she joined forces with relatives and friends and in 1997, they created Hadaf, which means “goal” in Arabic, but also stands for “Association of parents and friends of mentally disabled people.” Help and donations have come from official institutions, companies and even the Moroccan king and private donors, including nearby mosque-goers.

In 2005, Hadaf set up a social-professional center in the Hay Nahda neighborhood of the capital Rabat, housing various workshops and courses including jewelry making, sewing, decorative painting and carpentry.'

'Inside they walked around the stations and chatted to the young cooks, aged between nine and 18, stopping to try mince and onion pastries (Harry) and Harira - a spicy chickpea soup (both). Chef Moha handed them each a decorated ceramic bowl to try and they each took a sip. 'C'est delicieux,' said Meghan in French. 'What's in it?' asked Harry, before joking, 'It's a secret recipe!'

One child said something in Arabic to the chef, who turned to the Duke and said: 'He finds you a very good person. 'He is a good person,' smiled the Duchess, putting an affectionate hand on her husband's arm. 

'Harry and Meghan took up the offer of a meal for 'the whole family' from top chef Moha Fedal, who hosts the North African nation's version of Masterchef. He told the couple: 'I hope to cook for you next time,' as they joined him for a cookery demonstration with underprivileged children in the capital Rabat.

The Duchess replied: 'The whole family next time.' The chef said: 'You come with your baby to Marrakesh next time' referring to the fact that the prince is believed to have visited in 2018, just before his wedding. 

'We would love to,' said Meghan. 'Come with your baby and I will cook for all three,' he told Harry as he joined them. The Duke - clearly inspired by the delicious spread he had sampled - replied: 'We will cook for you!' 

The Duchess gave Chef Moha a copy of Together. She wrote: "Chef Mohar. Wishing you continued success and congratulating you on your incredible work in engaging the community in cooking. All the best. Meghan".

They presented letters from Her Majesty to the King

greets the King of Morocco’s sisters, Princess Lalla Hasna and Princess Lalla Meryem

'The King granted an audience to Harry and Meghan in his private home, a 1950s Arabic-style country mansion set in a lush garden of ferns and bamboo trees in the capital Rabat.

But it was more like a get together with friends with the 15-year-old Crown Prince Moulay Hassan greeting the couple outside the door after they arrived in the King's vintage Mercedes 600 SEL, loaned to the couple during their stay. The head of state was all smiles in the doorway and Harry and Meghan both complimented his home which featured an ornate internal courtyard behind the monarch, richly decorated with Arabic designs.

Harry described how he had an invitation from an unknown individual to stay on after their tour ended: 'He was very keen on getting us down there two days after this trip, unfortunately we have commitments to get back to.' The Duke of Sussex also said to the King that he would not be able to take up the 'fantastic invitation', but he added: 'Next time we will schedule it properly. We will keep it very quiet from everybody out there.'

Those seated from the left were: Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Meghan, the King, Harry, Prince Moulay Rachid, Princess Lalla Meryem and Princess Lalla Hasna. 

As expected, the King's wife Princess Lalla Salma was absent. It is very much believed the couple divorced last year, however requests for official confirmation have been met with silence. The Princess has not been seen officially since late 2017. International media believe the King has custody of their children but she sees them often. 
Emily Andrews tweeted it's understood she's on the Greek Island of Kea with her daughter Princess Lalla Khadija. British reporters' requests for information were left unanswered throughout the visit.

The Blue City is one of the most visually striking places in the country. There are several theories as to why the walls were painted blue. One popular theory is that the blue keeps mosquitos away; another is that Jews introduced the blue when they took refuge from Hitler in the 1930s. Other claim locals simply decided to do it to attract tourism. The blue is said to symbolise the sky and heaven, and serve as a reminder to lead a spiritual life

ツアー総評

It's been a fascinating visit focused on highlighting young people, girls' education and meeting the Moroccan royal family. 
The Duke and Duchess have proven themselves more than adept ambassadors for Her Majesty abroad and the several overseas visits they've taken mark the beginning of what I believe will be increasing responsibility abroad on behalf of the monarchy. 

It's been very much a case of following in the footsteps of the Queen and the Prince of Wales in strengthening ties between Britain and Morocco. Her Majesty visited in 1980; Charles visited in 1995 and returned with Camilla in 2011.

Saturday 23 February  

The Duke and Duchess departed London on Saturday afternoon and arrived in Casablanca on a commercial jet, but did not land until shortly before 9pm due to delays.

They were greeted by the British Ambassador to Morocco, Thomas Reilly, and his wife Alix at Casablanca Airport, before Harry inspects a Guard of Honour.

Meghan and Harry's three-day trip has focused on the subject of female empowerment. Above, they walked in without seeing Rania and Rayhana, pictured, who were waving a British and Moroccan flags, but they spotted them as they left and Meghan immediately made a beeline for the sisters and bent down to say hello (pictured)

The Duke and Duchess began their day with a visit a boarding house in the town of Asni. 

The Moroccan NGO Education For All (EFA) builds boarding houses for girls aged 12 to 18 to ensure that girls from rural communities in the High Atlas Mountains region are able to access secondary education. 

The couple met girls living at the boarding house and the housemother, and toured the facilities where a henna ceremony was performed on the Duchess.

On Sunday the Duchess of Sussex dazzled in a sweeping kaftan-inspired Dior gown as she joined husband Prince Harry for a reception at the British ambassador's residence in Morocco

Mother-to-be Meghan, 37, looked radiant in the custom crystal-embellished cream number, which she teamed with metallic heels, a favourite pair of £6,950 diamond earrings and a satin clutch, also by Dior 

They later visited the local Secondary School meeting students and teachers, before watching children playing football.   

The royals continues their busy day with a visit to the original EFA boarding house where the Duke invested Michael McHugo, the founder of ‘Education for All’, with the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Michael McHugo was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list 2019 for services to improving gender equality in education in Morocco. 

Following a busy day the Duke and Duchess attended a reception hosted by the British Ambassador to Morocco and his wife in Rabat, meeting influential Moroccan women, young entrepreneurs and disabled athletes among others.  

Monday 25 February 

Harry and Meghan began their final day with a visit to the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports.

They learned more about Morocco’s developing programme of supporting children with special needs through equine therapy. 

The Duke and Duchess attended a horse grooming session with some of the children, before watching a riding demonstration and meeting trainers and instructors. 

The couple also meet young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have benefited from the programmes at the centre as well as a mental health charity and individuals involved.

In the afternoon Harry and Meghan visited a cooking demonstration where children from under-privileged backgrounds in Rabat learn traditional Moroccan recipes from one of Morocco’s foremost chefs. 

The Duke and Duchess met disabled children who are working in a specially-designed restaurant in Rabat, as well as viewing local artisan cookery-ware. 

Concluding their packed tour in Rabat,the couple visited the Andalusian Gardens where they heard about youth empowerment in Morocco from a number of young social entrepreneurs. 

The couple saw traditional Moroccan arts and crafts on display in the walled public garden amid exotic plants, flowers and fruit trees, before meeting King Mohammed VI.
