先月、19日に
ハリー王子とともに
初めてメーガン妃が出席された
”ロイヤル・バラエティ・パフォーマンス”
も、まさに
こういった支援をするための
資金集めのガラパーティー。

国民を楽しませる、エンターテナーが

リタイアした後までサポートして行こうという
こんな活動があるなんて、
感動した。
さすがアートや演劇、芸術全般に対しての意識が高い英国！！
を実感。
滞在中、
メーガン妃は
リタイアしたアーティストたちや
エンターテナーたちの方々とお会いに。
施設内の視察や
居住者の皆さんと
アートやペーパークラフトなどを一緒に。
この時期らしく
クリスマスツリーのそばで
クリスマスキャロルを歌ったりも。
除幕式に、訪問を記念し、署名も。
すっかりロイヤルメンバーでございますね。

実はこちらのチャリティ
”ロイヤル・バラエティ・パフォーマンス・チャリティ”
は、現在
エリザベス女王がパトロン。
いわば、女王代理、
とも言えるこの日の公務。
それこそ
元セレブでハリウッド女優だったメーガン妃にはピッタリ！
な公務ですね。
来年、年明け早々には、
メーガン妃のパトロン先が発表
となる模様ですが
その中に、恐らくここも入るのでしょう。

いつものニュートラルで、シックカラーにしても
色のみならず、素材も薄い、、、、
室内で、脱いでらして、ビックリ
この日の公務はパーティーだっけ？とすら。
クリスマスイメージで
華やかにされたのかしらん？
メーガン妃流のクリスマススタイルは
やはり露出の大きなドレスで
ゴージャス＆セクシー
が基本？？
お腹もかなり大きくなってきたようで、
ストレッチ無しのこのドレスが着れてることも凄い！
あったかコートと
ポリのドレスという
厚薄素材のミックスコーデは、
さすが元おしゃれセレブっぽい。
到着時は
ベルトも結ばずダランとしたまま。
これが実は気になった、、、、細かいけれど。
せめて紐をポケットに入れこむとかするだけで
だらしない感じゃなく、
おしゃれな何気感、に見えるはずなんだが。
ベルト、だら〜んてなんか、ね、ロイヤルだから。
お帰りの際には、ちゃんとコート着込んで。
オバサンには
ホッと一安心ですよ。
なにせ、妊娠中なんですもん
冷えは禁物！

Last month
attended the Royal Variety Performance
- also in aid of the charity
- and stole the show in a beautiful outfit which consisted of a black halter-neck top with white floral embroidery by Safiyaa, which was teamed with a floor-length black skirt and heels.
The appearance was a poignant one as it was the mother-to-be’s first outing at the annual star-studded gala and she smiled happily for the cameras as she took her place in the royal box next to husband Harry.
The couple enjoyed a fabulous performance from Take That and the cast of hit musical Hamilton as performers take to the stage of the London Palladium

The Royal Variety Charity, of which The Queen is Patron, assists those who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry and are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times. Many of those who work in the entertainment industry can often work season to season, spending long periods with no work at all, and with little ability to make any plans for their futures, or to provide themselves with security should they have an accident or fall ill. Money raised by the Royal Variety Charity, and through the annual Royal Variety Performance, helps and supports hundreds of retired entertainers throughout the UK.
The organisation is steeped in royal history. The Royal Variety Charity has been honoured with Royal Patronage from the reigning Monarch ever since 1921, when His Majesty King George V became the first Patron of the Variety Aristes' Benevolent Fund (the previous name of the Royal Variety Charity). Other Patrons over the years included His Majesty King George VI, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is believed that the Royal Variety Charity is the only charity to exist in the UK with such a long, unbroken line of patronage from the reigning monarch.

Brinsworth House
which is owned and managed by the charity, accommodates up to 36 residents who are cared for by a dedicated team of nurses and care assistants. Built in 1850, the care home has a number of lounges, a bar area, library, restaurant, television rooms and a hair salon. The house is decorated throughout to emphasise its theatrical lineage, representing the many retired artists and entertainers who have been supported by the Royal Variety Charity.

レシピを公開！
と言っても、実はこれ
パレスが出してるクッキング本に載ってますがw
さすがビジネス上手です（笑）
が、そうとは言っても
本を買わずとも
こうやってオープンに
レシピ教えてくれるんだから、スゴイ
そして、嬉しいですよね〜
まずは
”ジンジャービスケット”
レシピ
ちなみに、私は食べるの専門なので
これを訳すの、自信ないので控えました、、、

Ginger Bread Biscuits
Makes 10 (50mm Diameter) Cookies
Makes 10 (50mm Diameter) Cookies
- 200 Grams Self-Raising Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon of Mixed Spice
- 100 Grams Unsalted Butter
- 75 Grams of Dark Brown soft Sugar
- 25 Grams Granulated Sugar for dusting
- 45 Grams Milk
- Icing to decorate
Method
- Sift together the flour and spices, add the diced butter and crumb together with your fingertips.
- Add the milk to form a paste. Wrap in film and allow to rest for minimum 2 hours (best left over night)
- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees c
- Roll out to approximately 3mm (but depends on the size of the cookie you wish to make), cut shapes out and lay on to greaseproof paper or silicon mat sprinkle with a little granulated sugar before baking at 180 degrees until set.
- Allow to cool fully on a cooling rack before icing with your choice of design.
