恐らく、今日が今年最後の登場となるでしょう
キャサリン妃

恒例の、クリスマスサービス
歩いて教会へ向かうという、、、
毎年見てても毎回驚く。

夜明け前から、
沿道の良い場所を確保する皆さん。

そのキモチ分からなくもない。。。

去年に続き、今年もクイーンはお車で☆
眼光鋭いですが、
お歳は88才
お膝も悪いですからねえ。。

その他のロイヤルメンバーは歩き。

エディンバラ公、アン王女＆ティモシー氏ご夫妻、
アンドリュー王子＆ベアトリス、ユージェニー王女
エドワード王子ご夫妻＆
アン王女の息子：フィリップご夫妻

そしてもちろん、
チャールズ皇太子、なんだが
なんとお一人！！！
カミラさんはどうしたーーー！！！
やはり離婚に向け・・・・・と勝手に予測しましたが
パレスからは、
カミラさん、腰痛のよう。
ホントかしら・・・・（相当疑ってる）
1週間くらい前からだそうで、
だから、
先日のクリスマス・プレランチも欠席だったらしい。
ふ～～ん。
ま、おかげで（？）
チャールズ皇太子とキャサリンさん、仲良くお話(笑)
カミラさん、バチ当たったとか。。。

そして、ザラ・フィリップ＆マイケル夫妻も欠席。

もうひとり・・・
やはり残念な予想通り、ジョージ王子はお留守番でしたが、
ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃は
今年も手を繋いで、
ラブラブ登場♡

そして、お待ちかねの
FASHION！！！

もう気づくと4年目ともなりました、
このクリスマスサービスですが
今年初めてですね～～
ザ・クリスマス的じゃない出で立ちなのは。

その代り、
ザ・英国調です！！！

生地、仕立て共に、すごく良いものに見える。。
裏地もどうやら赤に見えるし・・・・
そのコダワリは、やはりモダンなデザイナーじゃないと。
この丈・素材は、
よほどセンス良くないと野暮ったくなること間違いない！！から。
モダンだもの、これ(^_-)-☆
さて誰だ・・・・・

マックイーン、もしくはドルガバっぽいなあ・・・・・
なんて思いましたが、どうやら
英国伝統的ブランドのものらしい。。しかも、また丈直しをしたようで。。

帽子が、些かコンサバ過ぎな気もしますが
ま、茶といえばこれになっちゃうか。。。
ま、許せる範囲(笑）

‘He said Prince George was really, really well and said that they’ve left him at the nursery because it’s a little bit cold, but they were looking forward to going back to see what destruction he’d caused. He wished us a happy Christmas and asked if we were warm enough and he said he was very grateful for all the flowers.

"I told her she looked beautiful but she said she feels big. She doesn't look it".

‘Harry asked if we were able to hear the carols and we said we could and he said, “I hope you didn’t hear us singing, it was horrendous. They had to play a tape of the carol because the singing was so bad”

which comes after a busy year for the Royal Family,
was reconciliation.

In her Christmas message the Queen will praise the “selflessness” of medical staff fighting Ebola. Also the Tower of London poppy memorial: "the only possible reaction to walking among them was silence"

In this year's Christmas Broadcast, commonly known as 'The Queen's Speech', Her Majesty recalls the Christmas truce of 1914 as she speaks of reconciliation and forgiveness

"Attendees to the queen's Christmas celebrations are required to adhere to court protocol, including bowing or curtseying to their royal superiors and paying attention to who enters a room first. Even the guests' arrivals are coordinated based on seniority, with junior members arriving at Sandringham first and the more senior ones arriving last."

"Guests are also expected to make at least three outfit changes throughout the day, including an outfit change for morning activities, a new ensemble for afternoon tea (usually a suit or tweed dress for women), and formal attire complete with jewels at dinner."

《ケンブリッジ家のクリスマスの過ごし方》

先週木曜日（12/18）
から既に
Anmer Hallにお泊りらしい
ミドルトン家

ウィリアム王子は
キャサリン妃の為にも、
ちゃんとクイーンから、
クリスマスデーに、ミドルトン家と過ごすことを
お許しを得られたようですね。

妻のお望み通り
ミドルトン家の楽しいクリスマスの過ごし方を、
ケンブリッジ家にも取り入れらえる決断をされたようですね。

そして、イブの日
ミドルトン家は
クイーンからプライベートなご招待も受けていたのだとか！

段取りよく
キャサリンさんのお家アンマーホールから直接向かったわけですが、
ただし、入るのは、
ロイヤルメンバーの方々が正面入り口から
お入りになる少し前に到着。
一番最初ってことですね。
そこに階級が・・・
きっちり存在する。

そして、
教会サービスから戻ったあと、
サクっと他のロイヤルズと集まり
その後は、アンマーホールに戻りミドルトン家と。
異例の異例！！！

クイーンも、理解を示されているようですね。
それがスゴイけど。。

あと、サンドリンガムの宿泊設備の不足も原因の1つ。
デッカイとはいえ、限界が(笑)
それもあり、近親者のみ招待としていても、
昨年は、ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃も入っていましたが、
総勢30人。

ピッパさんも以前話していた、
ミドルトン家流のクリスマス
ボードゲーム
マイケルさんによるコスプレなど・・・
を楽しみながら
ディナーもミドルトン家と！！

基本
クイーンからプレゼントされ
やっと18か月にも及ぶ改装も終わった、
Anmer Hall（10-bedroom country home）
で、ミドルトン家と過ごされる。

ウィリアム王子の勤務も始まるので、
ここが今後の拠点となる。

Unlike most people in Britain, the royals follow the German tradition of opening their presents on Christmas Eve. But after today's service the Queen and her family will sit down to a Norfolk turkey with all the trimmings.

the sillier, the better. Diana famously made a mistake during one of her first Christmases at Sandringham, bringing in expensive cashmere sweaters and luxury items to give to her in-laws. It appears that Kate has gotten the hang of royal gifting, as she reportedly gave Prince Harry a plastic Grow Your Own Girlfriend kit during an early visit. Previous gifts that made a splash include a padded toilet-seat cover that Princess Anne gave Prince Charles and a pepper mill that one guest gave to Prince Philip.

Later, the family changes once again for dinner, donning their best formal clothing and jewels. The adults and older children dine together, while the youngsters play in a nursery. After dinner, the queen stands to signal to the women in the party that they should move to another room for coffee, while the men stay behind for an after-dinner drink.

２５日

William, Kate and George will open their stockings with the Middletons @ Anmer

and take a family stroll around the grounds.

at 11 a.m.
Then it's time for a change of clothes before William and Kate make the annual walk with the Royal family over to the estate's local church, St Mary Magdalene.

then headed back to their Norfolk mansion for a slap-up turkey dinner with the Middletons.

The decision raised eyebrows as royal watchers had expected the Cambridges to join the Queen and Prince Philip at Sandringham for lunch, as they did last year

After church,
will host a Christmas feast at Anmer Hall consisting of warming soups, traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, fine wines and all topped off with home-made Christmas pudding and chocolate Yule log.

Then,
everyone heads back to the big house for lunch, which includes a Christmas turkey and a selection of cold meats

his gifts are said to include a hand-crafted rocking zebra from Carole and Mike Middleton, a retro toy car, books and a deluxe railway set from his parents

At 3 p.m.
sit down and watch Her Majesty's annual Christmas Day speech

In the evening,
the family sip on egg nog and classic champagne cocktails whilst enjoying the Downton Abbey Christmas special. In New York, William revealed they are very much looking forward to seeing it.

『Boxing Day』

begins with a kedgeree breakfast and the annual pheasant shoot on the estate; the Middleton family may join in for this.

The men are the only people who are allowed to take part in the hunt, as ladies are not allowed to use a gun in the presence of the queen. Once the shoot is over, the party begins to break up, with everyone heading home to spend the holidays with other members of their families. Kate and William typically visit Kate’s parents in Bucklebury before heading to Balmoral to meet up with Charles and Camilla again. However, now that the Cambridges have a home at nearby Anmer Hall. there is talk that the Middletons will stay at Anmer Hall and join the royal family for various events during the holiday

The Middletons are expected to stay on for a few days after Christmas and William and Kate will most likely ring in the New Year with them in Bucklebury.

『Pippa's book Celebrate』

'You wont have time to do everything from scratch but pick and choose what you can manage making yourself. Have a kitchen clear-out before the festive period and make separate lists for different shops you might visit; the butcher's, wine store, green grocers, florist and supermarket. The priority is to get all the food planned and organised as far in advance as possible.'

With such a fabulous selection of locally grown produce available in Norfolk, Carole, Kate and Pippa will be out and about in the next day or two purchasing fresh vegetables, meats and delicacies. According to Pippa, edible gifts such as gingerbread stars and Christmas truffles are popular as well as decorating the tree with them.

'Decorating the Christmas tree is a ceremony for the whole family. Make a weekend of it and get into the Christmas spirit with mince-pie baking and mulled-wine making with carols in the background. When it comes to decorating, individual style is everything.'
