ツアー帰国後、初のソロでの公務！

『America's Cup launch』
”a breakfast reception”

4度の金メダルを獲った英国を代表するセーラー《Sir Ben Ainslie》
昨年2013年には、
アメリカの ”ORACLETEAM USA”　
の一員として勝利に一役を買った。

かつて一度も英国の手に渡ったことのない、
その、163才のトロフィーを得るべく
ホームの勝利を！！
それを最終ゴールにすべく、
Sir Ainslie によるブリテッシュチームが組まれ
世界で最も古く歴史あるセーリングコンペティションに、
”the 2017 America’s Cup race”
初チャレンジ！！！
そのロンチパーティーが行われた。

朝食パーティでは、
クルーやボートのデザイナー達、出資者など、
このチャレンジをサポートする方々と会われた。
そして、
America’s Cup class boat
もご覧になった☆

Olympic sailor Ben Ainslie is leading the bid to enter a British team in the 35th annual race that will be held in 2017. The first America's Cup was established in 1851 for the winner of a race around the Isle of Wight and was witnessed by Queen Victoria.

mark the launch of Britain's attempt to win the America's Cup for the first time, led by four-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben Ainslie. Considered Britain's finest Olympic sailor, Sir Ben was a tactician with the victorious American team last year, but said, "The America's Cup is the one last sporting achievement we are yet to conquer as Brits. That is definitely the goal.'

Sir Ben's aim depends on the development of design and technology skills in the UK to ensure Britain has the expertise to build a boat capable of winning the famous cup. An enormous £100 million sponsorship is required. Kate's appearance at the event is expected to help raise awareness about the effort.
