化学療法が終了したことを報告

それまでの苦悩、葛藤と共に
節目としての喜びが伝わってきた。

そして、ノスタルジックなフィルム仕立ての動画では
皇太子ご一家のプライベート画像が満載

先月撮影されたという
ノーフォーク州、アンマーホールや近くのビーチなどでの
ご一家の超ナチュラルで自然な姿が映っていて
たまらない❤️❤️

中でも、家族が肩を組んだシーンや
ジョージ王子が「これ撮ってるの？」
と聞いた後
シャーロット王女とルイ王子が
レンズに向かって「Hello!」
と語るシーンなど
カメラ嫌いであってもおかしくないお子様達の
キュートで天真爛漫な姿に感動すら

そして、印象的だったのは
キャサリン妃とウィリアム皇太子夫妻の
超ラブラブっぷり❤️

ここまでやりますか？！
ってなくらい、ほぼずっとどこか触れっぱなし

ハグにキスに、寝ているキャサリン妃にキスなど
少々戦略かも？！と疑いたくなるほどの熱々ぶりに驚きも。

困難を夫妻で乗り越えてこられた事を思うと
これも自然なのかもしれないけれど
基本、英国上流階級は、人前で愛情表現しませんしね〜

まず、この動画でのこのような報告も
まさに今の時代らしい、モダンでオープンな手法

声明だけでなく、キャサリン妃の口で語り
お洒落でほっこりする映像と、家族の絆

王室が公開するものゆえ
もちろん公開戦略としてよく熟考されているのはもちろんだけど
お見事。

夫妻のお気に入り、の模様

でなければ、なかなかプライベートを撮らせるのはねえ、、

Revealed: Catherine's full statement 


As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. 

Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. 

With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted.

Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. 

Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. 

Everyone's kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright. 



夏が終わろうとしている今、ようやく化学療法を終えることができ、
どんなにほっとしていることでしょう。
この9ヵ月間は、私たち家族にとって信じられないほど厳しいものでした。

ご存知のように人生は一瞬にして変わり、私たちは荒波と未知の道を進む方法を見つけなければなりませんでした。
がんの旅は、誰にとっても、特に身近な人にとっても、複雑で、怖く、予測不可能なものです。

謙虚になることで、これまで考えたこともなかったような形で自分自身の弱さに直面することになり、それによってあらゆるものに対する新たな視点が生まれます。
この時間は、何よりもウィリアムと私に、人生におけるシンプルで大切なことを振り返り、感謝することを思い出させてくれました、 
私たちの多くが当たり前だと思っていることです。

ただ愛し、愛されること。癌の無い状態でいるためにできることをすることが、今私が集中すべきことです。
化学療法は終わりましたが、治癒と完全回復への道のりは長く、一日一日を大切に過ごしていかなければなりません。
しかし、私は仕事に復帰し、今後数ヶ月のうちに、可能な限り人前で仕事をすることを楽しみにしています。

これまでいろいろなことがあったにせよ、私は希望と人生への感謝の気持ちを新たにして、この回復の新たな段階に入りました。
ウィリアムと私は、私たちが受けてきたサポートにとても感謝しており、今、私たちを助けてくれているすべての人々から大きな力をもらっています。

皆さんの優しさ、共感、思いやりは本当に有難いものでした。
自分の癌の旅を続けているすべての人たちへ、私はあなた方と共にあり続けます。
暗闇から光は生まれる、だからその光を明るく輝かせてください。

1. Two dogs can be seen gambolling in the Norfolk countryside with the Waleses. They are Orla, a black English cocker spaniel,which Kate's brother, James Middleton, gave them when his own dog gave birth to a litter of six in 2020, and Nala, a brown spaniel that features fleetingly in the background,who belongs to James. Orla is an Irish name which means 'golden princess'.

2. The giant pot plant, according to MoS gardening expert Martyn Cox, is most likely one of the Alocasia family native to tropical and subtropical Asia and eastern Australia. There are hundreds of varieties and owners are advised to wear gloves when handling the showy leaves because they contain calcium oxalate, which is toxic to humans.

3. Unsurprisingly, given that William was an RAF flight lieutenant, the Waleses are using Battle of Britain playing cards which celebrate Britain's finest hour. A pack costs £5.49 and they feature RAF fighter pilots who won command of our skies in 1940, as well as images of Spitfires and wartime posters. The King of Hearts even shows the Royal Family at the time, while the King of Diamonds is Winston Churchill.

4. Kate is seen driving a Land Rover Defender 110. The model, costing from £60,470, is a royal staple that was favoured by the late Queen and Prince Philip.

5. Picnic food includes a bag of crisps made by Herefordshire firm Tyrrells. The orange pack suggests they are the healthier 'sweet potato' version, seasoned with sea salt, sold at £2.75 by Ocado.

6. Prince George is wearing a blue T-shirt from the high street shop Mango. Made in Bangladesh of 100 per cent cotton and costing £9.99, the front features a palm tree in the sunset with the words 'Explore The Horizon'. The back depicts a windsurfer in a calm sea next to the words: 'The ocean is calling and I must go'.

7. Picnic snacks are kept in a 'canvas champagne cooler' from the luxury safari brand Sandstorm Kenya, a Nairobi-based 'slow fashion' company run by Scot Mark Stephenson. Lined with a waterproof silk fabric, it costs around £150 and promises to 'stay cool, stay classy'.

8. The soundtrack is the song Ireland by Ben Winwood who studied music at the University of Westminster, London, and lives near Snowdonia National Park. He describes his composing process as 'artisan', saying: 'I naturally resonate with films that have a raw, human dimension to their narrative and subjects.' Ironically the track is 'royalty-free', which means social media creators who subscribe to a £10-a-month service don't have to pay any more to use it.
