”世界メンタル・ヘルス・デー”
を記念した公務
この日はご夫妻ご一緒に
『SportsAid』が運営する
メンタルヘルスのワークショップを視察
”SportAid”といえば
キャサリン妃が結婚初期の頃から
パトロンになられている組織ですね。
SportsAid. Kate became patron a decade ago.
スポーツエイドは、
未来のオリンピック、パラリンピック、コモンウェルス（英連邦）、
そして世界チャンピオンとなるべく、英国の若きスポーツ選手達を支援する、
この種では唯一ともいえる、国家的チャリティ団体。
毎年、主に12歳から18歳の1,000人以上のアスリートたちを支援し、
トレーニングや競技にかかる費用を援助。
また、メディアトレーニング、栄養上のアドバイス、
パフォーマンス・ライフスタイルの指導など、
プロのアスリートにとって必要不可欠なスキルの開発も支援している。
SportsAid is the only national charity of its kind - helping young British sportsmen and women aspiring to be the country's next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions. Every year SportsAid supports over 1,000 athletes - the vast majority aged 12-18 - by providing a financial award to help with training and competition costs. The charity also helps develop other vital skills for professional athletes, such as media training, nutritional advice and performance lifestyle guidance.

やはりご夫妻揃って、参加されるのが恒例
そして、夫婦対決も！？
メンタルの回復力を強化するための指導を受ける、
若きアスリート達や両親と一緒に
ネットボール（バスケに似たスポーツ）の訓練に参加されたり、
また、goalball（ゴールボール）にも挑戦。
これは、目隠しをしながら、
鈴の入ったボールを転がし、ゴールに入れるという
視覚障害者の競技。
なかなか凄いスポーツで感動したり。。
なんとキャサリン妃は、ゴールを決められ
自分でびっくりされたご様子w
一方、先に挑戦されたウィリアム皇太子は
ディフェンスされ、得点ならず、でした。。
ラブラブ❤️❤️モーメントも。
ウィリアム皇太子が、お話し中に
キャサリン妃の顔に何かが付いていたようで
自然に、とって差し上げる様子が、動画でしっかり撮られてた❤️
では、この日のキャサリン妃ファッションは〜
スポーツ関連だし、実際に挑戦も、ということで
やはりパンツですね。
そして、またか〜〜〜！！と思ったが（笑）

The Prince and Princess of Wales went head-to-head in a netball drill as they joined young athletes and their parents being coached on building up mental resilience.

Olympian Shona McCallin. Shona has been a committed supporter of the organisation for years.
'Prince William, 41, said: "For me, resilience is a mindset. When things go wrong, I go into a different gear." Laughing, Kate turned to her husband, saying: "William will know that I take quite a creative approach to resilience'.
"As a mother, making sure I’m speaking to my children and raising the progress and the effort involved I think is quite hard to do, and I think an important message for youngsters is that this growths mindset is so important for all the different challenges they face"

stepped out of the car to visit the sports centre where she and William are taking part in a mental fitness workshop
Kate's bandaged up fingers could be seen following her injury last month
visiting a SportsAid mental fitness workshop as part of their work on the week of World Mental Health Day
Upon arrival Kate and William were greeted by an official who was due to show them around the sports centre
The Prince of Wales matched with his wife in different shades of blue as he opted for navy while Kate chose a royal blue blazer
preparing for a day of activities, opted to wear her trusty Vejas as she arrived at the sports centre
The Princess of Wales has been a patron of SportsAid for several years and is known to value the importance of an active lifestyle in maintaining good mental health
Princess Kate cut a smart casual figure in her high street outfit with the Zara blazer and her much loved Vejas
opted to wear her gold star earrings, which were gifted to her earlier this year by a mother who lost her daughter to suicide
Kate's subtle but stunning gold earrings were made in memory of Issy Renton, who died earlier this year after struggling with depression
opted for eyeliner with a touch of blusher and defined eyebrows to complete her look
at the Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre with her husband and met with staff
The royal couple's visit today coincides with a week of mental health related engagements which are focused on young people in particular

After injuring her fingers on the trampoline last month, Kate's fingers were once again strapped up as she prepared to get involved in some activities
revealed her fingers are bandaged up yet again, it is the third time she has displayed her injury in the last month
took part in a roundtable discussion upon arrival at the sports centre as she prepares to get involved in the workshop
sat down with officials from SportsAid and the BelievePerform charity, which collaborate to run the workshop
she spoke to the parents of young athletes who have been helped by the workshops
Prince William too looked engaged while chatting to young athletes and their parents about building mental resilience
smiled as he sat down with SportsAid officials at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre
looked passionate while discussing the importance of mental health in young people
heard about how SportsAid aims to steel young athletes by building mental resilience within them
The Princess of Wales teamed up with swimmer and Paralympic gold medallist Ellie Simmonds, who is an ambassador for SportsAid
took part in a meditation session ahead of taking on the netball drill which tested mental resilience
also tried to score and looked up at the net with focus on his face - before shooting a pretty impressive goal
chatted to some other athletes ahead of the drill, perhaps to gather a little bit od advice
She shoots... she scores! On her second attempt, the Princess of Wales managed to score a goal
After her first shot didn't quite make the hoop, Kate waited for the ball to bounce back to her before making her second attempt
Kate looked focused as she eyed up the hoop she needed to hit with her netball in the exercise drill
Kate held her hands up and tried to defend the goal while the determined person with the ball tried to score
The royal did her very best to try and distract the other player as she prepared to shoot into the net
The Princess of Wales, who is known for her competitive streak, beamed as she tried to score a goal while Prince William defended the net
Prince William did his best to distract his wife during the exercise - and it appears his attempts were successful
William took the time to feel out his surroundings before he attempted to play goalball
William's attempt was much more measured and thought out - but ultimately his tactics didn't come to fruition
As one of the activities in the royal couple's visit, they took part in a goalball exercise. Goalball is a sport for visually impaired athletes
Before taking part in the exercise, the Princess of Wales practised her hurling technique with an expert
took her time to get to grips with the surroundings as she prepared to take on a round of goalball
With her face covered by a blindfold, the Princess of Wales took a step back before hurling a ball towards the goal
Kate laughed and lifted her blindfold after taking part in the goalball exercise - and it was 1-0 to her
Jubilant Kate celebrated her win, despite having bandaged fingers, as she scored a goal while playing
took off her blindfold and realised she had scored, while the crowd cheered
The Princess of Wales appeared shocked as she realised she had scored in the game
