私の予想通り、やはり出産はまだ、のメーガン妃

冗談のように、

「もしや8〜9日を過ぎたりして〜！
そしたら王子は、公務と妻、いったいどっちを取るか？
きっと、妻、、、、」

なんて、昨日担当編集さんに話してたばかり。。

↓ここにも書いたように、

今週水曜日に、

来週8〜9日のオランダ訪問を発表された。

（水）アムステルダム
（木）ハーグで”インヴィクタス・ゲーム”のイベント：
 （to mark the one-year anniversary until ”the 2020 Invictus Games”）

が、昨日金曜日に、なんとキャンセルを発表！！

”no longer possible due to logistical reasons”
という理由だとか。。。

8日のアムステルダムが、とりあえずキャンセルされ
翌日のハーグ訪問は生きたまま。

私の予想通り、やはり

公務より、妻のそばに、を選んだ、っぽい

ハリー王子

そして、まだ産まれない、、、

流石にインヴィクタスはね〜

行きたい、いや、行かねば、、でしょう。

今最も、ハラハラドキドキは、きっとハリー王子かも、、、

このまま遅れると、場合によっては

自宅出産では無理

病院で、、、ということもあり得るかも？

続く、、、、笑

もはや今更、というくらい
遅れましたが、、、

”令和”
の時代がスタートしました。

GW中で日本国民が盛り上がっている中、
キャサリン妃の結婚記念日に
シャーロット王女のバースデー
そして、何より
メーガン妃の出産！を心待ちにしながら、
母国は、新時代へ〜〜！！
なんて、 まるで非国民のように英国ばかりに目を向けている自分に
切なかったり、申し訳なかったり、、、

現在の私のライフワークと、
母国の新たなスタート＆祝賀ムード
の間で揺れまくっておりました。

そもそも、今の私があるのも
皇室のおかげ。

私の中に、当たり前にある
”ロイヤルとは？”
という考えは、
無意識に、私が物心ついてからの
上皇さまご夫妻の影響が大きいといえるでしょう。

常々思う、
”ロイヤルはその国を象徴する”
という考えから言っても、
まさにお二人は、その代表。
母国だから当然そう思うのだけど。

今でも覚えている、
雅子さまの婚約にロイヤルウェディングの感動

新しい時代を予感して、
ワクワクした。

同じ時代を生きる雅子皇后に大いなる期待をして、
同時に、次世代の人々に平和な未来を引き継がないとね、、、
と、英ロイヤルを追っていて、
初めて次世代のことを思うようになったり。

さて、どんな時代になるのだろう。
楽しみ

私の中では、
日本の皇室も英国王室も
同じように
国や国民の象徴であり
人生におけるロールモデル

いかに重責で激務で
常に人目に晒されながら、人のために生きる
という、ものすごいライフワーク
だからこそ只者では出来ないのだと
崇拝申し上げております。

実際のところ
不思議なほど、ニュートラルな私ですが（笑）

それもこれも英国王室のせいか？！、、、

出産発表に先駆け
自分の備忘録です。

こんなことになっている、現在までに

あまりに呆れて、記録に残しとこう
生まれるまで、Up-dateします（笑） 


29日（土）
現地朝（日本時間夕方）
もしや、メーガン妃が陣痛？
ウィンザーとロンドンの間に位置するチズウィックで
警察のエスコートで走る、車列が目撃されたから
（ロンドンの病院で産む場合の想定ルート）

28日のイースターサンデーに
エリザベス女王が、
新居フロッグモア・コテージを訪問されていたことが明らかになり、
やはり、すでに出産された？疑惑

1日（水）
ハリー王子が翌週（８＆９日）
オランダ訪問を発表
ベイビーは誕生している！とウワサに。

同日、夜
ハリー王子＆メーガン妃が、
インスタアカウントに投稿！
ファンはてっきり、、、出産報告！と思いきやメンタルヘルスに関しての内容、、、
アラートでびびったファンの気持ち、、超わかる（泣）

ご存知ロイヤルファンの
テリー・ハッチャー氏84歳が、
ウィンザー城前に到着
いよいよだ、という全く根拠のないウワサも（笑）

2日（木）
産まれてるけど
シャーロット王女のお誕生日は外して発表するんでしょ？

今日、3日（金）
エリザベス女王のベントレーが、ウィンザーに向かうところが目撃され
メーガン妃のベイビーに会いに？！と噂に

これは、
この日の公務、
 ”the Royal Victorian Order” 
＠ St George's Chapel 
授与のためだった。

とにかく様々な憶測が続く、、、

予定日も月末〜翌月頭
ならば、風通じゃあないかと、私は思うが
英メディアは、
3月19日のNZハウス訪問以来
約50日近くも姿を見せていないということで
産まれてるんじゃないかと、、、

50日前に産休入っても、特に長いともいえない気もするし、、、

なにせ何も明かされない分、
いちいち、騒ぐ。。。

隠すと知りたくなるから、人って、、

やはり、キャサリン妃夫妻のパターンが賢い
というか、明確で、結局シンプルに思える、私には。

10 facts about royal births as the wait for Baby Sussex continues 

While the wait goes on for the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby, here are 10 facts about royal births:

1. Surgery at home

The Queen - then Princess Elizabeth - was born by Caesarean section in 1926. But the surgery took place in her grandparents' home in Mayfair, rather than in a hospital.

2. The NHS

Lady Louise Windsor was the first of the Queen's grandchildren to be born in an NHS hospital. She arrived prematurely following an emergency Caesarean after a seriously-ill eight months pregnant Countess of Wessex was rushed to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.

3. Natural births

The Duchess of Cambridge had a natural birth with all three of her children at the exclusive Lindo Wing - and a team of 23 medical staff were on hand in case of emergencies.

4. Kitchen delivery

The Duke of Edinburgh, then Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, was born on the kitchen table at his family home Mon Repos in Corfu.

5. Smuggled substitutes

Prince Charles's birth in 1948 was the first time in centuries that there was not a government minister there to witness the arrival of a future heir to the throne. It was an age-old custom designed to ensure that no substitute baby had been smuggled in in a warming pan or similar receptacle.

6. The shadow side of marriage

Queen Victoria - who had nine offspring - used to refer to childbearing as 'the shadow side of marriage' or 'die Schattenseite'. Her first babies were born before anaesthetics were available.

7. Battles over birth pain

Victoria used chloroform for later births, sniffing it from a handkerchief. When it was first pioneered, traditionalists opposed the drug, claiming labour pain was responsible for a woman's love for her child, and sufferings during childbirth were a divine destiny. But Victoria refused to believe such a notion, and her support for the 'blessed' method and its 'soothing, quieting and delightful beyond measure' effect ensured its accepted use in society.

8. Induced births

The Princess of Wales was induced with Prince William, with Diana telling friends her baby was ready and 'well cooked'. Her labour was difficult and she was continually sick, with doctors considering a Caesarean. Future king William was eventually born without a C-section after the princess was given an epidural.

9. Noisy crowds

After William arrived at the Lindo Wing in 1982, new father the Prince of Wales asked the rapturous crowds outside the hospital if they could make a little less noise.

10. Secret scans

In 1984, Diana knew Prince Harry was going to be a boy following a scan. But she did not tell husband Charles, fearing he wanted a girl, and kept the news secret throughout her pregnancy.

『メーガン妃が従うべき Royal Baby出産の10か条』

1. The Queen will be told first

The Queen will be the first person to know that the royal baby has safely arrived. When Prince George was born, William called his grandmother on a specially encrypted phone to tell her the happy news. The new father proceeded to tell Kate's family, then his, enjoying their new bundle of joy for a few hours before announcing the birth to the public.

2. Official Statement by the Palace

An official statement will be put up on websites such as royal.gov.uk, and will be sent to media outlets after the birth, but the Sussexes will also use the official Royal Family Twitter account, and their own Instagram account, to share the news on social media.

3. The official notice of birth will be placed on an easel

The confirmation of birth will be placed on an easel in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace, the notice will have the Buckingham Palace letterhead and will be signed by Meghan's doctors. The notice will give the gender, time of birth and a short sentence about the wellbeing of both the child and the new mother.

4. The name won't be announced until a few days after the birth 

Prince George's name was released two days after he was born, the same as Charlotte, and Louis' name was revealed four days after his birth. Prince Louis' name was announced on Twitter and it seems likely that this royal baby's name will be announced via the same platform. 

5. The baby will have three or four names 

Harry and Meghan's baby will have three or four names, for example Princess Charlotte's middle names are Elizabeth and Diana. The Queen must approve the names of royal babies who are closest in line to the throne. 

6. The royal baby may not have a royal title 

Her Majesty declared in 2012 that all of William and Kate's children would be known as Prince or Princesses, but there is currently no same rule for Harry's children. This means that baby Sussex may not hold the title of his or her royal highness. If offered the titles, Harry and Meghan could decline them, as Princess Anne did for Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips. 

7. Gun salute

The arrival of a royal baby is traditionally marked with a gun salute by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery. The basic gun salute is 21 rounds, but if conducted in a royal park, an extra 20 rounds are fired. If fired at the Tower of London, 62 rounds will be fired - the basic 21, a further 20 because the Tower is a Royal Palace and 21 for the city of London. 

8. Meghan will be in safe hands

Although it is not yet known where Meghan has decided to give birth, there is no doubt that the first-time mum will have the best possible care – whether she travels to hospital or opts for a home birth as rumoured.

9. The christening 

The royal baby will be christened in a replica of the Honiton lace and satin christening gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1941. Although we don't know exactly where the baby will be christened, it is assumed that it will be Windsor castle as the couple now live locally. 

10. The royal baby could have anywhere between four to seven godparents

 Although it is not known how many godparents the new baby will have, Prince George has seven, Prince Louis has six and Charlotte, five. Those in the running for the role for this baby include Zara and Mike Tindall, George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and good friend Benita Litt. HELLO! can't wait to see who the Duke and Duchess will pick to be an extra mentor to their children.
