The woodland wilderness garden aims to get people back to nature, and highlight the benefits of the natural world on our mental and physical wellbeing.



Speaking ahead of @The_RHS garden unveiling, The Duchess of Cambridge said: “In recent years I have focussed much of my work on the early years, and how instrumental they are for outcomes later in life. I believe that spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults.” Some features of the #ChelseaFlowerShow garden include:



1. A swing seat hanging below the garden’s centrepiece, a high platform tree house, encouraging creative play and discovery for all generations.



2. The high platform tree house is inspired by a bird or animal nest and provides a wonderful place to retreat and look out through the trees. The treehouse is made from chestnut, with hazel, stag horn oak and larch nest cladding.



3/4. The garden is aiming to inspire interaction with the natural environment through its multi-sensory, green and blue plant scheme. The garden will be filled with incredible edibles, plants for craft activities, forest scents and a diverse range of plants, shrubs and trees of different heights and textures.



The garden forms part of Her Royal Highness’s ongoing work on early childhood development and her mission to support efforts that give every child the best possible start in life.



The Duchess has committed to making early childhood development the focus of her work in the years to come, and believes that providing children with the opportunity to spend time outdoors can play an important role.

award-winning landscape architects

 of Davies White Landscape Architects, 
is a woodland setting for families and communities to come together and connect with nature.

The RHS Back to Nature Garden, 
designed by Kate with landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White, is a woodland setting for families and communities to connect with nature.

Kate's garden aims to highlight the benefits the natural world brings to mental and physical well-being.
Kate has made 'early years' intervention one of the cornerstones of her work after seeing how so many problems faced by adults she has met – such as mental health issues, addiction and social exclusion – stem from their childhood.
She and her co-designers were keen to recreate memories, such as wild bluebells, from her childhood.
In an interview with gardener Monty Don for the BBC, to be broadcast tonight, Kate says:
 'I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children.
'I really hope that this woodland that we have created inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.'
Kate's involvement with the 2019 RHS garden at the Chelsea Flower Show was first revealed earlier in the year.

毎年必ず出席されるお気に入りイベント

なんと今年は、キャサリン妃も展示者として参加！

 チェルシー・フラワー・ショーで金賞受賞された経験を持つ
ランドスケープ(景観)設計家のアンドレ・デイヴィーズ氏と
アダム・ホワイト氏のカップルとともに、
ガーデンをデザインされました。

テーマは、
かねてからキャサリン妃が重要視されている、メンタルヘルスと自然との関わり。

”バック・トゥー・ネイチャー”と名付けられたガーデンは、
キャサリン妃が子供の頃に遊ばれていた自然あふれる森林をイメージされており、
いかに自然が人々のメンタルの健康に影響があるかを訴えながら、家族や地域社会を結びつけ、自然と繋がることのできる、そんな場が増えることを願いながら造られたそうです。

一般公開は、本日21日から(25日まで)。

キャサリン妃は、この準備にお忙しく
ガブリエラ令嬢のウェディングを
欠席されたと見られています。

そんなロイヤルウェディングの翌日、
19日日曜日の午後、
予期せず、と〜〜〜っても嬉しいサプライズが！！！！

 本番を目前に、キャサリン妃がご家族を連れてサプライズ登場！！

 これはビックリ❤️❤️
まさかご家族で登場とは！！

 ま、当然とも言えますが、、、結果論では。

今年初めに
この、ガーデンの参加が発表されて以来、
打ち合わせに現地とお忙しかったでしょうが
ついに本番へ！

 それに先駆け
一足お先に、
いえ、
やはりキャサリン妃が一番にお披露目したかったのは、
ご家族！だったのでしょうね〜。

 子供達の反応がきになるでしょう、、、

初めて、ここを訪れたお子様たちは
ジョージ王子のキャサリン妃と手を繋ぎ
ルイ王子はウィリアム王子とシャーロット王女に手と引かれて一緒に。
その姿に、まずやられますねえ〜❤️

先日の公務で、
キャサリン妃がおっしゃっていた通り、
ルイ王子はすっかりご自分の足でお立ちになり、
しっかり歩かれていた。

 やはり、お世話好きお姉ちゃま
シャーロット王女は弟の手を支えて❤️

 お庭に入ると
母の作ったお庭をしみじみご覧になっている風のジョージ王子と
入るや否や、大興奮が伝わる、シャーロット王女。

キャンバスシューズを脱いで、
裸足でゴー！
も、超キュート❤️

 途中、興奮しながら
「Oh la la！」
と叫び声まで。
シャーロット王女の声が低いっつ（笑）

 しっかり腹から声出てる感じ
さすが、欧米の女子！
高い声は、お子ちゃまです。

やっぱ女の子の方がリアクションが大きくて
感情表現が分かりやすいですね

 でも、ルイ王子もニコニコ。

カメラに向かって歩かれる姿は
かつてのウィリアム王子を思い出したり。

 皆さん、スウィングを楽しんだり、
色々探索

 途中、パパから兄ジョージ王子に手を貸してあげてと言われたると、
Noと答えたシャーロット王女ですが
ジョージ王子のお隣にピッタリ並んで、
一緒に小川に足をつけていらっしゃる兄妹のお姿には、たまらん❤️

本当に絵になるお二人だわ。。。

日頃から、ケンブリッジご一家のアウトドア好きは有名ですが、
実際に遊んでいらっしゃるお姿を拝見すると、
よりリアルにそれを感じさせられます。

できる限り一般と同様に
そして自然の中でのびのびと育って欲しい、
と願われるウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃ご夫妻の希望通り、
お育ちになっているようにお見受け。

定番のスモックドレスを着ていても、
ガンガン走り回って遊びまくる
シャーロット王女が可愛すぎ❤️

これぞ英国のリアル・プリンセス！

一方ジョージ王子は、
カメラがあるから？
もしくは、初めての場所は慎重に、が彼の性格？
未来の国王プリンスは、
一見冷静そうに、
でも興味深そうにお楽しみでした。

先日、公務中、キャサリン妃が
「うっかり目も離せないほど、ルイが大暴走中なんです。」
と話されていたことを思い出すかのように、
この日のルイ王子は元気一杯！

 すでにパパは
パワフルすぎる3人に
ついていけない、といった感すら（笑）

とにかく、
ケンブリッジ公爵家の子供たちのエネルギーは凄まじい！！
そして超可愛い❤️

なんだか、
ご一家の普段の生活というか、
お家の中の様子が推測できる感じ、、

 良いご家族ね〜〜〜
と、しみじみ

 ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃のお望み通り
のびのびと自由にお育ちで
見てるこちらまで
なんだかハッピーに❤️
いつもだけど

 ちゃんとお子様たちが
キャサリン妃が熱心に活動をされる
メンタルヘルスのロールモデルになっていらっしゃるというもの。

 ファッションも
ちゃんと、この場所にあった
ファミリーコーデがなされていました。

 そして、やはり賢いコーデ

以前もプライベートで着ていらした

めっちゃ安い！！！
どうやら、これをサイズ違いでご愛用らしい

THE CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2019

The Chelsea Flower Show has been held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea every year since 1913, apart from during both World Wars.
The RHS show is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, which was founded in 1804.
More than 80 exhibitors have lined up to create their displays at the historic event. 
This year will see shows on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 8pm, which are the RHS Members' Days.
It is also open during the same time on Thursday and Friday.
On Saturday it will be open from 8am until 5.30pm, which as the last day of the show, will see the plant sell-off begin at 4pm.

Kate says she 'hopes her garden inspires families to enjoy nature'

The Duchess of Cambridge has urged families to make the most of nature.
A short clip released by Kensington Palace, the Duchess said parents should spend as much 'quality time' with their children at a young age as possible to help their development, particularly outdoors.
She said: 'I really hope this woodland that we have created here really inspires families and kids and communities in general to get outside, enjoy nature, enjoy the outdoors and really spend quality time together.'
She added: 'There's an amazing fact that I learned recently that 90 per cent of our adult brains are developed before the age of five and what a child experiences in these really early years directly affects how their brain develops.
'That's why I think it's so important that all of us, whether we are parents or carers or family members, really engage in quality time with our children and babies from a really young age.'
