”ザ・ロイヤルファウンデーション”
で設立された
”Coach Core”
16〜24歳の青年たちに
スポーツ、そしてコーチングを通じて
人生を好転させ、
権限を得流ことによって
教育や職を得ることを目的とした活動
実際に、
この、コーチコアによるスキームによってトレーニングを受けた
卒業者たちの97％が
フルタイムの教育や職を得ているのだそうです。
この日、訪門された
イングランドはレスターシャー州にある
ラフバラー大学は
スポーツで高評価大学らしく、
2014年には”タイムズ”が選ぶ
”Sports University of the Year”
（最優秀スポーツ大学）
にも選ばれたことがあるほか
20112年に開催された、
ロンドンオリンピック＆パラリンピックでは、
90人のアスリートが参加したそうです。
それも納得の
敷地面積は、欧州最大だとか。
お二人は
この日、こちらで行われた
”コーチ コア アワード” に
200人以上の若きコーチコアの訓練生たちとともに出席。
60人の”コーチコア”の卒業生たちにお会いに
ネットボールのパス訓練にも加わられたお二人。
そして、別々のチームに分かれて
初の夫婦対決も。
メーガン妃チームには
テニス選手ローラ・ロブソンや
イングランドのネットボールプロが、
ペナルティとして？
ボーナスで
加わっていたそう。
ハリー王子チームには
マラソンの元選手で世界記録保持者
ポーラ・ラドクリフや
イングランドのクリケット選手。
そして、イングランドの元ラグビー選手に、
アメリカのバスケットボールのスター選手
デヴィッド・ロビンソンなどの姿も。
話は前後しますが、
先週末、どうやらご夫妻は、
オランダでお過ごしだった模様。
ご存知
”ソーホーハウス”が
アムステルダムにお店をオープン
それを記念した
３日間のパーティーに参加されたのだとか。
エディ・レッドメインや
ジェナ・コールマン、
一時期噂されたこともある方ですね〜
他にも
ソーホーハウス創立者
《Nick Jones》氏のバースデーも相成って
英国の人気コメディアンや
モデル、リリー・コールに
ミュージシャンのエラ・エアなど、
幅広いセレブの面々が集まっていたようですね。
ハリー王子＆メーガン妃カップルは
そんな場所がお似合いで
おつきあいもお得意そうですしね。
遊んだ後はお仕事！

キャサリン妃も、これまでに何度か
”コーチコア”のお仕事をされましたが
メーガン妃のスポーツスタイルはいかに！
やはりダーク
とにかくスタイリッシュ

いつでもどこでも
この方は。
キャサリン妃は根っからのスポーツ少女なので、
ジャージすらお似合いですが、
メーガン妃は
元々スポーツ少女というよりは
社会派ですもんね〜
小さい頃から、
壇に立ってるイメージすら、、、
やはり子供の頃からの興味とファッションは関係あり、
を実感。
ちなみに私も
スポーツスタイル似合いません（笑）
超ダサくなります、だって苦手ですもん、、、、
なのでいくらトレンドになろうが
そっち系は、お金出しては買いません。

Today Coach Core trains hundreds of young people across the UK through its scheme, which connects apprentices with the biggest sports clubs in the country. The apprentices learn technical sport skills alongside an inclusive and holistic approach to coaching, with an emphasis on employability and mentoring skills. Coach Core is proud to have transformed the lives of its apprentices with 98% of its graduates now being in full-time employment or education, and 80% retain strong ties with their employers and continue to engage in community sport. Apart from qualifications, participants gain the opportunity to grow, support from a network of professionals and the chance to develop personal qualities including leadership and confidence.

The Duchess’ team featured the gymnastics coach Scott Hann, tennis star Laura Robson and had the added bonus of England netballer Eboni Beckford-Chambers.
While the Duke shot hoops with marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe, former England batsman Mark Ramprakash, ex-England rugby player Ugo Monye and ex-US basketball star David Robinson.
Today's royal visit coincides with fantastic news for Coach Core. Patricia Treble revealed Sport England has awarded the Royal Foundation a £1 million national lottery grant to double the reach of the programme. It's going to be invaluable in terms of expanding the programme across the country
presented the Apprentice of the Year award to a thrilled Kayleigh Batt before closing the event with a speech.

“Being a coach isn't just about helping an individual get active, or training the next person who's going to become a world record holder. “It's so much bigger than that. It's about being a role model; it's about being professional, relatable and inspiring.”
Sport does not discriminate. But lack of support and barriers to access do, which is why the role of Coach Core fostering this raw talent is absolutely vital. “Sport can inspire and invigorate, and as we have seen today, with the right opportunity, the right mentoring and the right focus, lives can be changed.”
