『Royal Ascot ： Day 1』

今年も始まりました〜！！

エリザベス女王、お気に入りの馬の祭典
ロイヤルアスコット！

1945年に
ユニフォーム（the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS)）姿で
初めてアスコットに出席された以来
毎年出席されている女王。

ロイヤルから始まった
上流階級の社交の場である
この競馬の祭典は
毎年６月の第3週目に
５日間、開催されます。

毎日、
ロイヤルファミリーの馬車パレードからスタート

ハリー王子が結婚式で乗られた
”アスコットランドー”に乗って
ウィンザー城から登着されます。

初日のこの日
エリザベス女王を筆頭に
同席されたのは
アン王女
やはりエディンバラ公ではなかった。

チャールズ皇太子ご夫妻と
ベアトリス王女＆ユージェニー王女が続き、
お次は
そして大注目！！の
ハリー王子＆メーガン妃は
ウェセックスご夫妻
が同じ馬車に！

やはりご夫妻揃って出席され、
メーガン妃にとってはデビュー！

毎年、総勢30万人が参加するとも言われるこちらのゴージャスなイベント
最近とみに人気が復活している気も。。。

きっと
ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃ご夫妻が
2016年から
出席されたことも大きい気がする。

昨年もそろって出席されましたが、
今年は残念ながら、
お二人とも欠席

キャサリン妃は産休中ですが、ウィリアム王子も。。
私の推測では
基本、お二人は、
この競馬の祭典あまりお好きではないかも？？

階級の証、の様なイベントですからねえ。。
チャリティに関係ないし。

ならば、
自然の中で子供たちとお過ごしになる方が
お好きそう。

それにしても
続々と登場が続きますね〜

さて、
女王が鮮やかなイエロー！のいでたち

ではメーガン妃のスタイルは〜

ロイヤルアスコットすらも
やはり
白黒のモノクロスタイルを選んだメーガン妃！
シャツカラーに長袖、ミディ丈と
完全に露出を抑えたのは
驚きましたが、
しかし、不思議

隠せば良いってもんでもない。。。

シャツカラーって、、、、、

ウェディングドレスと同様の
《ジバンシー》のものだけれど
ロイヤルアスコット向きじゃあない！！

スタイリッシュだけど
華やかさゼロ

ジバンシーじゃない、この場には。

お帽子は良いですね〜
いっそ、黒（はやめて欲しいけど）の
クルーネックのアライアみたいな
フィット＆フレアーのドレス
にすればカッコよかったのに。。

なんだか、パンプスも普通すぎて
このスタイルいまいち、もっさり。。。

どうしちゃったかな？メーガン妃

最近メンターに教育されてるから
突如、コンサバ以上の守りになりましたか？

それは違うわ、、、
もっと良いバランスがあるはず。

『ロイヤルエンクロージャーのドレスコード』

For ladies in the Royal enclosure, 
the following dress code applies:

• Dresses and skirts should fall just above the knee or longer.
• Dresses and tops should have straps of one inch or greater.
• Trouser suits and jumpsuits are welcome.
• Headpieces must have a solid base of four inches or more.

The 2018 Ascot style guide notes "Our dress code is traditional, woven into the very fabric of our history. It was Beau Brummell, perhaps Britain’s first fashion icon, who at the turn of the 19th century dictated the dress for men in the Royal Enclosure. His sense of style is still reflected in Royal Ascot fashions today. In 2017, Royal Ascot successfully welcomed the jumpsuit as an acceptable item of clothing for the Royal Enclosure. Ascot continues to recognise key trends in the ever-evolving world of fashion. Additions to the official dress code in 2018 makes socks a requirement for gentlemen and specific necklines detailed as acceptable, or not, across all Enclosures."

The tradition of the Royal Procession began during the reign of King George IV in 1825 & very little has changed since. Queen Victoria describes the procession on 12 June 1838: "The carriages were landaus, each with 4 horses, the Postillions in their State Ascot jacket & caps."

Another landau followed carrying Charles and Camilla and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Harry and Meghan were in the third carriage, with the Earl and Countess of Wessex.

ザラさんが第二子となる
女の子を出産された！！！

前日
18日に誕生したそうですが
発表は翌日に。

ザラさんといえば、
2016年、
ご懐妊発表の数週間後
クリスマス前に
流産という辛い経験をされただけに
今回の無事出産はさぞお喜びになったことでしょう。
ロイヤルファミリーみなさま。

ただいま4歳の
ミヤちゃんも、
ついにお姉ちゃま〜〜

なんと
このベイビー
史上最大のよう。
4160g

ジョージ王子も超えて
超でっかい！！

まあ、ご両親見れば納得ですね。

ピーター・フィリップス氏の娘
サバンナちゃんも結構大きかったようですね。
 8lb 8ozですってー

ザラさんの代理は、
ザラさんの言葉として
the couple were “very happy”

王位継承順位19位の
このベイビーは
エリザベス 女王＆エディンバラ公の
7番目のひ孫となります。

ジョージ王子＆シャーロット王女、ルイ王子にとって
二人目のイトコ。

Mrs Michael Tindall was safely delivered of a baby girl on 18th June, at Stroud Maternity Unit. Mr Tindall was present at the birth. The weight of the baby was 9lbs 3oz.

The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news. The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course.

This baby is the second child for Zara and Mike, the fourth grandchild for The Princess Royal and the seventh great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh

When Zara – daughter of the Princess Royal – was born in 1981, she had no right to a title, being born down the female line as the offspring of a daughter of a sovereign.

Zara, a champion equestrian rider who won a team silver in the London 2012 Olympics, and former England rugby player Tindall have been together for 15 years and married in Edinburgh in July 2011.
