キャサリン妃が
一般のブライドメイドってNG
格が違いますもんね〜

という建前があるので、
名目上は違うが
動きは完全に姉！

素晴らしいね。。

しかし、
ミソルトン家の気合いには驚いた！！！

これロイヤルウェディングの真似みたい、、、

キャサリン妃のウェディングの妹版っていうか、、、

ドレスも似てるし。

ママ キャロルさんの
ロイヤルまで行かずとも、
妹も近いところまでのしあげよう感を
感じて仕方ない。

田舎でしなきゃよかったのに、と思ったり。

ロケーションとやってることがどうも違和感。

PIPPA AND JAMES'S BIG DAY: A TIMELINE  

8am - Pippa Middleton and her bridal party preened themselves ahead of the big day. Richard Ward - Kate's hairdresser - tended to Pippa's tresses 

10.30am - Guests were greeted by best man Spencer Matthews and ushers, who were wearing morning suits with dusty pink ties, at the archway entrance. Among the first celebrity guests to arrive were ITV news anchor Tom Bradby and his jewellery designer wife Claudia. They were followed by former Byker Grove star Donna Air, James Middleton’s girlfriend and tennis star Roger Federer. Pippa’s uncle Gary Goldsmith waved to the assembled press as he arrived with his daughter. Princess Eugenie, wearing a navy blue dress and cream pillbox hat also waved to the cameras as she was accompanied by her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.

11am - The groom, James Matthews, also greeted guests at the entrance to the church. He appeared relaxed, at one stage sharing a joke with his brother.

11.20am - Mother of the bride Carole arrived with her son James, wearing a peach Catherine Walker outfit.

11.25am - The Cambridges’ nanny Maria Borrallo was then spotted entering the church in her distinctive brown Norland uniform.

11.26am - A minute or so later, two vintage Jaguar Mk IV cars pulled up caring the Duchess of Cambridge in the first car with George, Charlotte and younger page boys bridesmaids, followed by a second car (exactly the same, grey coloured) carrying the other, older ones (they wouldn’t tell us who was who). 

11.30am - They were shortly followed by Pippa and her father Michael in an open top gun metal grey 1951 Jaguar Mk V. They spent some time rearranging Pippa’s dress by the archway entrance - both Michael and an attendant - presumably one of Deacon’s. 

11.45am - There was embarrassment when a couple of late comers arrived after Pippa had gone into the church. Bodyguards were scrambled to usher them in a side entrance. 

12.40pm - The bride and groom emerged just as the sun started shining again, having rained during the 40-minute ceremony.

12.45pm - The pageboys and bridesmaids were assembled at the entrance and then walked out in front of the happy couple, with Kate helping to usher them into position.  

12.50pm - Prince George throws a tantrum and Kate steps in to tell him to calm down. Kate ushered them all back into the cars and she went in the car with them as the bride and groom then made their way up to Englefield House on foot, after posing for photographs.  

4pm - Pippa and James drive from Englefield House back to Bucklebury and wave at wellwishers along the 1.5 mile drive

Flowers including peony, sweetpea, asilbe, freesia, waxflower and green bell were packed into window boxes and along the pews in the historic church

The white and soft pink arrangements are understood to be the work of local florist Green Parlour, based in in Pangbourne, Berkshire, who was also enlisted to create the arrangements for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011. 

The company, which is run by Emma Sampson, has long been a favourite of the Middleton family.   

Whilst prices for wedding flowers are totally bespoke, bouquets on her website are reasonably priced between £35-£75.

Speaking ahead of the wedding, Bridebook founder Hamish Shephard, who has organised many society weddings, predicted Pippa's flowers could set her back £16,000

The bespoke gown had a cap sleeve, high neckline and corseted bodice with heart-shaped detail at the back. 

Silk cotton lace was hand appliqued to create an illusion of the dress having "no seams".

The world's most esteemed designers were bending over backwards to dress her but Giles Deacon was the man entrusted with dressing Pippa Middleton on her big day. 

Six years after she stole the show as her sister's bridesmaid at the Royal wedding, Pippa ensured her gown was equally memorable by plumping for a couture dress made by Giles Deacon, who has designed clothes for Ann Summers and New Look.

While Kate opted for a long-sleeved lace number by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen on hr big day, her younger sister ensured her newly-toned arms were on full display today with a cap-sleeved frock and glittering tiara.

Both sisters opted for brilliant white rather than ivory, popular among brides, with full, sweeping skirts to ensure all eyes were on them.

Pippa's stunning guipure lace number with a nipped-in waist and low back showed off to perfection the flawless figure has been tirelessly honing at the gym, while the high neck gave her look a modern twist.

Pippa's designer Deacon, 47, originally from County Durham where the Middletons' ancestors hail from, is one of the most acclaimed British designers and experts say one of his made-to-measure dresses was likely to have set Pippa back around £40,000.

He said: 'I was thrilled to work with Pippa on her wedding dress. The dress is constructed with a cap sleeve, high neckline and features a corseted bodice with draping to the front and heart-shaped detail at the back.'

Deacon added: 'The bespoke silk cotton lace was hand appliqued to create the illusion of the dress having no seams.

'The lace bodice is embroidered with pearl detailing over an organza and tulle underskirt. It's a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London.'  

'I wanted that 'how-was-that-done?' factor,' he told Business of Fashion.  Pippa also wore a Maidenhair Fern tiara.  

Phillipa Lepley, couture bridal designer added: 'Pippa's high neck is very unusual and elegant - more coverage is less, and very sexy. The fresh raglan cap sleeves (which will be slightly padded) contrast with the neckline beautifully - very fresh and modern! 

'An all-over embroidered fabric like this is very flattering. The dress has quite a voluminous full skirt, which contrasts Pippa's tiny waist. A simple silk tulle veil has been thrown over, which does not detract from the details of the dress beneath.' 

Deacon is famed for his dramatic gothic creations and has made full skirts, huge ruffles and playful shapes his signature with fashion critics noting he creates clothes for 'women who want to be noticed'.

He has dressed Helena Bonham Carter and Lady Gaga, but his most famous bride was model Strictly winner Abbey Clancy, who wore a strapless, corseted lace dress that flared out below the knee.

FORGET THE BUM! THIS YEAR IT'S ALL ABOUT PIPPA'S INCREDIBLY TONED ARMS!

Pippa made quite the splash at her big sister's wedding when her pert bottom made headlines all around the world. But this year, all eyes have been firmly focused on the bride's incredibly toned arms.

Pippa wore a capped-sleeve dress to highlight her very shapely arms earlier today and she has even caught the eye of professional personal trainers.  

Monty Simmons, a personal trainer based London, said: 'It's clear she's been keeping a balanced diet that's high in protein, to help reduce body fat and feed the muscles so they develop, tone and shape. 

'If the body fat isn't addressed through great nutrition, the muscle will be covered; much like an iron bar wrapped in cotton wool. 

'It's rumoured she's undergone bodyweight training in the lead-up which is a fantastic way of developing lean, sculpted and toned upper arms.

'Known for her athletic prowess, Pippa is no stranger to keeping in shape, having taken part in big scale sports events, including a 3,000-mile charity bike race in San Diego and a 33-mile cross-country ski race in Norway. Sport based activities create brilliant results for the upper arms. 

'I particularly recommend boxing, rowing, indoor rock climbing, mixed martial arts and swimming. Not only are they great for overall toning, they focus hugely on the upper body, helping burn body fat and toning muscles. They're also an effective stress reliever which plays a big part in losing body fat also!'

James' father, David – a former mechanic and current owner of A-list hotel, Eden Rock on an island in St Barts – bought a castle and a 10,000-acre estate 15 miles from Loch Ness in the Highlands in 2008.

On purchasing the plot – which ironically was once stayed at by the Queen's grandmother, Mary, in the late 19th century – David also earned the courtesy title of the Laird of Glen Affric, which will be inherited by his eldest son, James.

Pippa will take on the title of Lady Glen Affric one day, which can apparently be used in the Commonwealth.

And it appears the bride is eager to celebrate her in-laws Scottish history, by reportedly making her wedding Scottish theme

Who is Pippa marrying?

James Matthews

Chelsea-based multi-millionaire Mr Matthews, 41, is the chief executive of Mayfair-based Eden Rock Capital Management Group, which he co-founded in 2001. 

An ultra-marathon runner in his spare time, Mr Matthews, who was educated at Uppingham, Rutland, eschewed university opting to pursue a career as a racing driver, competing up to Formula 3 level, before becoming a trader and starting his own hedgefund. 

Haven't they dated before?

Yes. The pair dated briefly in 2012, before going their separate ways after a few months. They remained close friends through her three-year relationship with the stockbroker Nico Jackson and when that ended in 2015, Mr Matthews came back on the scene.

Who are Pippa's new in-laws?

His parents are David Matthews and Jane Parker who own the five-star Eden Rock Caribbean hotel in St Barths where they have hosted various members of the Middleton family over the years.

Yorkshireman David, 73, left school to join his father’s garage business, before becoming a door-to-door salesman and eventually – like his eldest son – a racing driver. It was in the sport he met his first wife, glamorous fellow driver Anita Taylor, whom he married in 1966. The pair had a daughter, Nina, but divorced three years later.

Retiring from racing in the late 70s, David made millions through the sale of his car dealership business, and married the Zimbabwean-born artist Jane Spencer Parker. Together, they purchased Caunton Manor, an 18th-century mansion in 30 acres of Lincolnshire countryside, before starting their own family.

 In 1995, he and Jane purchased Eden Rock Hotel on the idyllic Caribbean island of St. Barths, and spent a decade building it into one of the most luxurious hotels in the region, as well as the family home. 

The couple added to their portfolio in 2008 with the purchase of Glen Affric, a Victorian lodge and estate in just north of Loch Ness.

In purchasing the property, David became Laird of Glen Affric, and the title – which isn’t a peerage ­– will be passed down to his eldest son. That means the future Pippa Matthews could call herself Lady Glen Affric one day, should she wish.

How did Mr Matthews propose?

Mr Matthews popped the question during a trip to the Lake District in June 2016. 

The couple had only been dating for a year when he proposed, though they have been friends for more than 10 years. They enjoyed a brief relationship in 2012. 

Mr Matthews presented Miss Middleton with an octagonal ring featuring a three-carat Asscher-cut diamond understood to have been purchased from the London jeweller Robinson Pelham.

The company has been a regular source of jewellery for the Middleton family, and provided the diamond earrings the Duchess of Cambridge wore on her wedding day.

The Telegraph’s jewellery expert Annabel Davidson described Pippa's ring as “quite Art Deco in style” with a central stone that is “upwards of three carats”.

Diamond experts valued the ring at between £150,000 and £200,000
