《Queen's Birthday Celebrations ロゴが決定！！》

『Winner announced of Church school design competition for Queen's birthday celebrations』

The winner of a Church school competition to design a logo for the Church of England's celebrations in honour of Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday has been announced. The logo, designed by Lucas Salinger, aged 10, from Potten End C of E Primary School in Hertfordshire, was picked from over 1000 entries.
Official celebrations will take place in London between the 10th and 12th June including a thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral, a Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade and a street party in The Mall. It is envisaged that church events will be integrated into local community celebrations that take place that weekend.

先日登場の際の
太眉が話題

賛否真っ二つ

フサフサ
ダーク
密度
ペンシルでしっかり埋め尽くした
ストレートに近い
アーチまで太さがある

眉は、批判も多いよう。

デイリーメール記事の、
眉エキスパート（なんやそれ）いわく
「目じりのシワや下のアイシャドーが強調されて、
目の周りの肌がこけてたるんで見える」と。
かなりダークな色の眉は、疲れて見えがち。肌も元気なく見える」

SNSでのファンは、
「塗ったような眉毛メークは、誰にとっても美しくない。」
「ただただ老けて見える」
「やりすぎ、細い眉の方が、明らかに若く見える」
だそう。

ワタシは賛成
だって、ロイヤルらしく見える。
細いと、確かに、若くも華やかにも
時にはセクシーにも見える。
でも、安っぽい。

キャサリン妃のような
ポッチャリほっぺで
顔だちハッキリのお顔には
眉が細いとバランス悪い
＝顔が逆に大きく見える

個人的な見方ですが
ヤンキーっぽいんです、やっぱ細いと。

ロイヤルとヤンキー
正反対ですｗ

だからと言って、誰でも太眉がロイヤルになるわけじゃあなく
やはり顔とのバランス。

日本人顔には太眉はダサく見える。
目細いし、顔に肉ないし・・・・・
真似すりゃいいってもんじゃあありませんね～

目の大きさに合わせた眉の太さにすれば、
私達もロイヤル風に？なれるかも。

そもそも、ナチュラル眉支持派のワタシは
ロイヤルウェディングの時の
キャサリン妃の眉が、一番好きじゃあなかったかな。

マニュアルのように、無難に美しく描いた眉は
なんだかキャサリン妃らしくなく見えました。

ご本人も、
あの時のメーク失敗って言ってるくらいだし。

美とは
横にならえでキレイにすることではないと、
つくづく思う。

イギリスに住んで
お洒落なイギリス人を見るにつけ、
彼らの眉は、
みな自分らしくナチュラルに描いていた。
眉の形をトレンドに合わせて描いてる人とかいなかった。

ま、そもそも多民族国家では
トレンドが一つじゃないのもありますが。

もっというと、昼間にめっちゃ化粧してる人とかあんまいない。

アフター5に変身する！(笑)

あ、話それまくりました(^_^;)

ファッション界において、
実は太眉、トレンドなんです～

今やトップモデルのカーラ・デルヴィーニュや
女優キーラ・ナイトレイ
などなど、
共に太眉。
しかも二人共イギリス人

キャサリンさんも、
もしかして
そんなトレンドを取り入れた可能性もありますが、でもちゃんと自分流になってる。

それもこれも
自分でメークするプリンセス、だから。
ところで、
英国女性は、
眉毛のお手入れの為に
23億ポンド（3749億円）
も、年間で費やしているとか？

そして、そのうち
3分の1が、
ツウィザーズを使って
毎日抜き抜きして、
形をキープしているのだとか・・・・・

そのイメージ無いんだがなあ、、、
手入れしてない感じで
皆ナチュラルに見えた。

スレッディング
ワックス
タトゥ
など、の方法があり、

ハイストリートの薬局では、眉毛製品の売り上げが300％UP
デパートの中に
眉毛BARが
続々オープンしているのだとか。

マジですか・・・・
今度聞いてみよう、知り合いに。

AUGUST 2004: Kate, still a student at St Andrews University, shows off groomed, natural-looking brows — much like the rest of her fresh-faced, make-up-free look. They’re plucked into a tidy shape, but nothing more, with an elegant arch that emphasises her cheekbones.

NOVEMBER 2006: Three years into her romance with William, Kate’s using tweezers — but she’s no expert yet. ‘This shape was in fashion in the Nineties,’ says expert Shavata Singh. ‘It’s too thin at the arch and at the end of the brow.’ Those stray hairs on the upper edge look a little unkempt, too

MARCH 2007: Now firmly in the public eye — with neat brows and understated make-up. The clean line underneath suggests they’ve been waxed, not plucked, and white highlighter under the brow line gives definition. ‘A very natural brow, which suits her face,’ says Shavata.

NOVEMBER 2010: All eyes may have been on that sparkling sapphire, but Kate’s engagement eyebrows are just as enviable, with an elongated arch and subtle brown shading, just a fraction lighter than her hair. ‘The arch looks great and I like the thickness,’ says Shavata

FEBRUARY 2011: Kate’s brows are far thicker than we’ve seen before. She’s used an eyebrow pencil to make them so dark they almost match her black scarf. ‘They’ve been filled in quite a lot,’ says Shavata. The lack of arch flattens her face and makes her cheeks appear to sag.

APRIL 2011: For the Royal Wedding, Kate’s brows are thicker, straighter and darker than ever before. She can get away with the dark shading as she’s tanned and wearing white, which reflects light across her face, but the very straight shape makes her face look more masculine

JUNE 2011: Tanned and smiling, just back from honeymoon, she’s reverted to a more natural look — with only a faint hint of brown shadow filling in the gaps. She’s allowed her brows to grow out in both directions, too, which makes her eyes look wider. A winner!

AUGUST 2012: Kate looks like she’s been at the tweezers again, plucking away the outer edges. The result is ageing, narrowing her eyes and making her forehead and nose look wider. ‘I’d like the brows to end a little further down,’ explains Shavata. ‘She’d look a lot better’

OCTOBER 2015: There’s a touch of the Sophia Loren here — heavily made-up and carefully shaped into bold, dark arches for the visit of the Chinese President. Combined with her mauve eye make-up, it saps her youthful glow and seems heavy-handed for a daytime event.

DECEMBER 2015: She’s swapped the dark eyebrow make-up for a much lighter shade, perfectly matched to her almost auburn hair. They are still a little flat, but are less overpowering and lift her face, particularly on the left, where there is a slightly more prominent arch

THIS WEEK Her most recent look is a controversial one, with some saying the thick, dark brows detract from Kate’s natural beauty. ‘These are a feature of their own, rather than just framing the eyes,’ says Shavata. ‘They are too bold and don’t look even. I’d love to get my hands on them'

惚れ惚れ♡

不思議なことに
今こうやって、
ロイヤルに関連するお仕事なんぞに導かれて
気づきましたが
ワタシ昔から
ファッションアイコンはロイヤルだったのかもしれない・・・・・

結構断舎利して
売りすぎたくらい、、、、と思うけれど
実は、絶対断舎利出来ない、
でもほとんど着たこともない、
という、ドレスやコートが
クローゼットにあります。

それらは
ハイブランドのビンテージ
ピエール・カルダンや、クレージュ
エミリオ・プッチとか、色々、、、、
数は減ったけど
ワタシにとってのお宝がちょっと。

それらは、
こんな世界観のものばかり。

街で着れないのに惹かれ
どうしたいのか分からないけど、
大好きで、置いてます。
いつかお店をやった時にディスプレイ？？
とか。。
分からないまま、
着るには、色もデザインも、
東京では浮きます(笑)

イギリスでなら、浮きません。
パレスで着たい(笑)
