インドをご訪問されることに。

エリザベス女王の代理としてご訪問
お２人にとってインドは、
初のご訪問となる。

 公式海外ツアーは、
2014年12月のNYツアー（3日間）以来です。

パレスのアナウンスメントは
金曜日、
英国との友好関係を強めることを目的とし、3日間の訪英中である、
インドのPM（Narendra Modi）と、
エリザベス女王が 
バッキンガムパレスでのランチと共に
お会いになった後で
行われた形。

2014年から現職に就いた
ナレンドラ・モディ首相
 
この10年で
インドPMが英国を訪問されたのは、
初めてだそうです。



そして
ウィリアム王子にとっても、初の訪問ですが
チャールズ皇太子は
過去、8回インドをご訪問されており
最も最近では
2013年11月、9日間ツアーで
Dehradun, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kochi
をまわられたそう。
  
そして、
ダイアナ元妃がチャールズ皇太子と共に
インドを訪問されたのが
1992年

ウィリアム王子＆キャサリン妃の訪印は
チャールズ皇太子&ダイアナ元妃の訪問以来
24年ぶりとなり、
これまた 、
 チャールズ皇太子&ダイアナ妃の足跡をたどるものといえそうですね。
 
その他
 ソフィーさん、アンドリュー王子やクイーン(1997年)も訪印された。

とっても残念ながら、
そのツアー中
ジョージ王子&シャーロット王女はお留守番となりそうですね。。。
注目を浴びすぎて
お仕事にならないと見なされたのでしょうかね、、、 

詳細は来年初めに、、、
発表となる模様。

Taj Mahal, Angra

Standing majestically on the banks of the River Yamuna, India's national treasure is a symbol of love and romance. The Taj Mahal's pure white marble, exquisite ornamentation and precious gemstones make it one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the world. However, once you find out the love story behind its construction its beauty is given a new light. Its name was inspired by Mumtaz Mahal, Shah Jahan’s beloved wife who died during childbirth of their 14th child, and the monument is a tomb that contains her body today.



The Golden Temple, Amritsar, Punjab

The legendary Golden Temple is the spiritual capital of the Sikhs and gained its name, meaning "Holy Pool of Nectar", from the body of water around the Golden Temple. Pilgrims come from across the world to bathe in the sacred waters and the number of visitors it attracts rivals that of the Taj Mahal. Travellers should try to catch it at night, when it’s beautifully lit up and its imposing gold dome illuminated.



 Delhi

Most first-time travellers to India usually land in India's magical, if chaotic, capital city. Acclimatise by visiting Delhi's top attractions, including spellbinding mosques, forts, and monuments left over from the Mughal rulers that once occupied the city – a city tour is a great way to discover the capital’s gems.  Jaipur
Decorated with glorious stucco buildings that line Jaipur's wide streets, it's easy to see why the capital of India's Rajasthan state is known as "The Pink City." Visitors should explore City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Amber and Jaigarh forts. Shopping in one of the bazaars is also not to be missed.



Kerala

One of the most popular attractions in India, a trip in a houseboat along the palm-fringed Kerala backwaters is tranquil and relaxing and a world away from the hustle and bustle of India's city hubs. The lush green landscape of southern India, diverse wildlife, and houses and villages that line the backwaters make a journey along these waterways seem like a journey through another world



Udaipur

Famed as the most romantic spot in India, the famed city of lakes and palaces is a must-visit for the ability to immerse yourself in regal splendor and would make the perfect pit-stop for William and Kate in their 2016 royal tour.



Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
This mystical holy city is considered the spiritual capital of India and one of Hinduism's seven holy cities. Pilgrims come to the ghats lining the River Ganges here to wash away a lifetime of sins in the sacred waters or to cremate their loved ones

このお歳でもニキビってできるんだ・・・

お誕生日前日、
カミラ夫人とお二人で寛いでる画像が撮られた、らしい。

クラレンスハウスからのお達しにより
英国内での出版はされていないようですね。

ただ、Mail Onlineだけは
オーストラリアでもメジャーな出版社ということで
掲載を決めたようですね。

ということで、
ワタシもここでのUPを控えることにしました。

画像見ましたが、、、
ぷぷっ♡
って感じです。
黄色にクジラ？かなんかのプリントのトランクスですが、
とにかく若いっ

痩せてるわけでなく、
むしろ上半身のガタイが良いので
お似合い。。。

カミラ夫人は、、、予想通りで
フツーのオバサン的エヅラで、
別に、って感じで、興味湧きません(^_^;)
