この公務のニュースのことが出たようですが、
セキュリティ上の懸念により、
報道規制が行われていたようですね。
それも納得、、、
なんと、場所は
女子受刑者の施設 訪問☆
『HMP Send』
Originally an Isolation Hospital, Send first became a Prison in
1962 when it opened as a Junior Detention Centre. It remained as such
until 1987 when it was re-classified as a category C Adult Male Training
Prison.
Re-roled in 1998 and completely rebuilt by 1999, Send currently operates as a closed Female Training Prison. It also houses a 20 bed Addictive Treatment Unit, an 80 bed Resettlement Unit and a Therapeutic Community with a capacity of 40.

は、26の１つで
献身的なアディクション治療センター
In 1992 RAPt founded the first drug treatment facility in a UK prison.
RAPt is the largest provider of intensive, abstinence based addiction services in prisons in the UK and HMP Send is one of 26 prisons across the country where RAPt works. Independent research shows that RAPt’s intensive treatment programme leads to a 65% reduction in reoffending.
The RAPt addiction treatment programme at HMP Send is the only 12-step prison-based drug and alcohol programme for women in the country. "It is tailored to support the needs of women with addiction who have often experienced deep trauma and need specialist support to build a positive and crime-free life. The programme focusses on building healthy relationships with partners, children and other family members after the often traumatic and damaging impact of addiction and crime".

お聞きになったり、
元収監者の人達とも、
そこでどのように治療を受け、克服してきたのか、
そして、いかにこの”RAPt”のプログラムが
功を奏し、ドラッグや犯罪の人生から
抜け出たかなどを学ばれた。
The Palace said the visit reflected Kate's "interest in learning how organisations support people living with substance misuse issues, and the impact of addiction within the wider family network".
Following the visit, Her Royal Highness said:
"I was reminded today how addictions lie at the heart of so many social issues and how substance misuse can play such destructive role in vulnerable people's lives.
I saw again today that a failure to intervene early in life to tackle mental health problems and other challenges can have profound consequences for people throughout their lives.
I am grateful to the women I met for sharing their difficult personal stories with me. It is encouraging to learn how organisations like RAPt are offering specialist support to help people break the cycle of addiction and look forward to a positive and crime free life."

“She is the perfect ambassador for the brand, so we are thrilled — it doesn’t really get much better than the duchess!” the spokesperson says.
Kate “knew of the brand before, and every season we sent her look books,”
the spokesperson says.
“But this season she was particularly keen, so we sent some styles to the palace and this was the one she liked.”
“I think Kate just liked the line in general because it’s the sort of brand that lends itself very well to these sort of events — it’s sophisticated but nothing too risky, fashion-forward but not too trendy,” the spokesperson says.
Her taste is catching: This particular dress has since sold-out (it was sent to the palace “a while ago,” their head office says), and the same Eaton dress in a similar silver tweed is currently on pre-order after every single size sold out in less than 24 hours!

Special delivery... Earlier this week we were delighted to receive delivery of a 1967 Mini, covered in pennies. It took approximately 8,500 pre-decimal pennies to give the Mini its penny coat, some of which date back to 1898!
