『The Trooping the Colour』

Queen 89才の公式お誕生日を祝し
毎年恒例のパレードが行われました☆

何度も言いますが、
本当のお誕生日は
4月21日

1748年に始まったこの"The Trooping the Colour"

クイーンが、最初に出席されたのは、
エリザベス王女としての、
1947年（21才の時）
世界第二次大戦後、最初に行われたのがこの年。
Colonel of the Grenadier Guards
 （イングランドの近衛歩兵連隊長）としての
ユニフォームを着て参加 

クイーンは在位中、
毎年この公式お誕生日のパレードに出席されており
1955年、
ストライキによるキャンセルを余儀なくされたこの一年以外、
 全て出席！！！
スゴイことです。

そして、
1969 ～ 1986 の間、
愛馬（Burmese）に乗って出席されていたのも有名なお話

そして、
やはり復帰第一弾となったこの日
キャサリン妃も登場！！！

シャーロット王女を出産後
６週間後の公務復帰となりました・・・・・

またしても、
約１か月半前に出産したことを
思わず忘れるくらい、お顔もカラダも元通りに見える。。。
まあ、全身ちゃんとは見えないですが。

パレードでは
もちろん、カミラ夫人と同じ馬車に。
ハリー王子も一緒なのが救い？でしょう。。


なんといっても、
キャサリン妃はもちろんですが、
この日、ジョージ王子の登場が期待されていました。

ワクワクしながら、バルコニー登場を
心待ちにしていた最中・・・・・・

ジョージ王子が、
ナニー、マリア（Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo）さんに抱かれて
バッキンガム宮殿の窓から外を眺めて
とっても楽しんでる様子が激写された！！！

  恐らく、
パレード中の、
馬車に乗ったママと、
馬に乗ったパパを見て、大興奮？！

そして、その後
やはりバルコニーにも初登場！！！

完全に、この日の主役を
またしてもジョージ王子に奪われた感

世界中の目がジョージに釘づけ♡♡♡

 そんな息子のファッションも意味あり！！

そして息子と色を合わせた
ママ：キャサリン妃のファッションも注目～！！！

やはり、この日は
全てNEW～～！！！！
そしてパステル系ね(^_-)-☆

 @ 10.30am

  
dressed in a light peach ensemble 
 designed by her assistant, 《Angela Kelly》
 

On horseback were 
Prince William, who is Colonel of the Irish Guards, 
 Prince Charles, Colonel of the Welsh Guards, 
and the Princess Royal, Colonel of the Blues and Royals. 
They rode on aptly named horses - Wellesley, George and Elizabeth.

travelled in the horse-drawn No 1 Barouche carriage with Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cornwall for the ceremony.

 The Earl and Countess of Wessex were noticeably absent, as they're representing the Queen at the wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden to Miss Sofia Hellqvist.

This military ceremony dates back to the early eighteenth century or earlier, when the colours (flags) of the battalion were carried (or 'trooped') down the ranks so that they could be seen and recognised by the soldiers.

Since 1748, this parade has also marked the Sovereign's official birthday. From the reign of Edward VII onwards, the Sovereign has taken the salute in person at Trooping the Colour. 

The Queen took part in her first Trooping the Colour parade as Princess Elizabeth in 1947. It was the first birthday parade to be held after World War II and she wore her uniform as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. 

During her reign, The Queen has attended Trooping the Colour every year except 1955 when it was cancelled because of the general strike. Her Majesty famously rode her horse, Burmese, from 1969 to 1986.


Princess Elizabeth attends Trooping the Colour on Horse Guards Parade in honour of the King's birthday for the first time.
