to mark the couple's visit to Cambridgeshire 
to celebrate the county.

まずは、やはり
ポートレートについて！！

ケンブリッジ大学の、フィッツウィリアム美術館でお披露目された
初の２ショットポートレート

受賞歴のある注目の若手肖像画家
《ジミー・コレト》氏

このポートレートは
ここ、ケンブリッジに飾られ、地元支援に繋げられる。

まず最初に感じたのは、
◉お二人の立ち姿勢

ウィリアム王子の、こんな凛として自信に溢れた立ち方は、
考えてみると、レア
いつもは謙虚で誠実さが前面に。
しかし、これは国王然ともして見える。

キャサリン妃は、お隣で支える妻

◉しかし、なぜに斜め？？
しかも、誰かをお話しになってます？？
といった様子のまま描かれたのは
ナチュラルに、、という意図だろうか

◉ファッションは
ウィリアム王子は、公務の定番スタイル
ネイビーのスーツに淡グリーンシャツ＆グリーンのタイ

キャサリン妃は、王子とカラーを合わせた
メタリックのグリーンドレス
《ザ・ヴァンパイアズ・ワイフ》

◉2020年3月 @ダブリンでデビューしたドレスを着まわし

◉一生残るポートレートといったこういう内容の時に選ぶブランドは
英国であることは勿論、伝統的な（コンサバ）
永久的ブランドにすべき？
とかと思ったが
モダンでコンテンポラリーなブランドチョイスにややビックリ

◉なぜグリーンを選ばれたのかも気になる
キャサリン妃の瞳の色ではあるけれど、それを応じと合わせるというのも、、、

単にフォーマル過ぎず、でも華やかに、というレベルの
むしろ、軽い理由かもしれない。

◉グリーンでリンクした、カップルコーデ❤️

◉靴が、いきなり《マノロ・ブラニク》
持ってらしたのね？！
と普通にビックリ

通常公務の場では、
このドレス＋この靴は、いまいち合わない気がするけど
そこはポートレート。
華やかさという点で、これくらい盛っても良いかも。

英国王室と代々受け継ぐ姿勢が。

ここで飾られ、地元に貢献

お二人らしく、
ナチュラルで、リラックスされた印象のものにされたのでしょう。

公務ファッション〜！

まだコートなんですね、英国は
と思ったが、色は爽やか
ブルーのロングコートに
《不明》
シフォンのドレスを合わせるという、ありそでなかったコーデ

中のドレスは着まわしで
《L.K.ベネット》
のもので、色違いでお持ちなほど
キャサリン妃のお気に入りドレスですね〜

記憶にあるのは、色違いの方のピンク
お子様たちとのポロ観戦時のドレス

実は、こちらの色も初ではなく、着回し
とはいえ、公務ではなく、
プライベートでレストランに行かれたときに目撃

キャサリン妃のコートと
ウィリアム王子のシャツがブルーと
ケンブリッジ公爵家の鉄板カラーでリンク！

最後は、コートを脱ぎ、靴を履き替え
ライトで夏らしいスタイルにチェンジ。

On their first stop of the day,

 the award-winning artist who painted the Cambridges

artist Jamie Coreth, one of Britain's leading portrait painters

Artist Jamie Coreth said: 
'It has been the most extraordinary privilege of my life to be chosen to paint this picture. I wanted to show Their Royal Highnesses in a manner where they appeared both relaxed and approachable, as well as elegant and dignified. 

'As it is the first portrait to depict them together, and specifically during their time as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I wanted the image to evoke a feeling of balance between their public and private lives. 

'The piece was commissioned as a gift for the people of Cambridgeshire, and I hope they will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.'

Artist Jamie, who graduated from Oxford University in 2010, has previously been commissioned by Princess Anne. 

‘It's quite big.’ He told Coreth it was ‘amazing’

The Duke and Duchess both studied history of art at St Andrews University, though William later switched to geography

This new portrait of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was unveiled by Their Royal Highnesses at Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum earlier today.

Painted by British portrait artist Jamie Coreth, the artwork was commissioned in 2021 by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund as a gift to the people of Cambridgeshire.

The Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund is working with the museum to ensure the portrait is used as a means of encouraging children and young people of all backgrounds from across the county to take an interest in art in all its forms. The @fitzmuseum_uk has an international reputation for the quality of its learning and inclusion programmes, working with Early Years providers, local schools and community outreach programmes to maximise impact and enrich the lives of young people and their families.

After viewing the portrait, the Duke and Duchess then met with supporters of the project including the artist and Lady Sibyl Marshall - the wife of the late Sir Michael Marshall, who originally proposed the idea to create the portrait

Who is Jamie Coreth: the artist behind the Cambridge's portrait who 'focuses on the character of his sitters'

 Jamie Coreth, an award-winning artist, is considered one of Britain's leading portrait painters.

After graduating from Oxford in 2010 ,with a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, he studied at the London Atelier of Representational Art and the Florence Academy of Art.

Jamie graduated from the Academy in 2014, after both studying there and at the same time,  working as an Art History lecturer and assistant tutor.

He was awarded the Young Artist Award at the BP Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery in London in June 2016, for his portrait Dad Sculpting Me, a painting which depicts Jamie’s father, the sculptor Mark Coreth, sculpting Jamie.  

Two years later, in 2018, Jamie's portrait of former soldier turned sculptor Mark Jackson, titled Broken Bodies, was accepted into the BP Portrait Exhibition. 

He was shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award in 2020, for his piece Portrait of Fatima, which was used for the cover of the catalogue and the National Portrait Gallery’s marketing campaign.

According to the artist's website, he 'paints with an intelligence and originality. He focuses on the character of his sitters, evoking a sense of their presence in his work. His technical facility sits in harmony with a modern vision'.

'The brooch is classic in its design: a large pearl, surrounded by a cluster of diamonds, with a diamond and pearl pendant suspended from the cluster. The piece was likely made by Garrard some time in the middle of the nineteenth century, with a setting made of silver. The pendant is detachable, and the cluster also features a loop that allows the entire piece to be worn as a pendant.

According to Hugh Roberts’s landmark jewelry book, The Queen’s Diamonds, the royals simply call this piece “the Duchess of Cambridge’s Brooch.” The Duchess in question isn’t the present one, but rather Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, the wife of Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge. An elderly Augusta wore the brooch in a portrait commissioned by her niece, Queen Victoria, in 1877.'

during Children's Hospice Week. 

The couple were snapped listening intently, as they met with families of children at the hospice

During their trip to EACH, Kate and William attended a small party on the lawn, so they could meet with hospice staff and thank them for their work

For their third appointment of the day,
 visited 
『housing charity Jimmy's』
 in Cambridge


 meeting Eamonn Kelly, who lives in one of the organisation's modular homes




While visiting housing organisation Jimmy's, the couple chatted with Eamonn Kelly. He currently lives in one of the organisation's modular homes - moveable, small-scale spaces that provide residents with separate living, cooking, sleeping and bathroom areas as well as their own front door


As well as meeting with tenants, Kate Middleton and Prince William spoke with partners and supporters during their visit to the housing charity


Prince William is known to be passionate about homelessness, and while talking to housing charity Jimmy's, he was pictured looking enthusiastic

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the first ever Cambridgeshire County Day.

The Fair was set to celebrate The Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen while also showcasing the very best of Cambridgeshire and raising money for charity

attended County Day, where sporty Kate was snapped kicking a ball - before sipping on a beer

appeared to roar with laughter after William kicked the ball, hitting the back of the net


Sporty Kate Middleton took part in a football game, and despite her less than ideal outfit for the athletic endeavour, she had no problem hitting the target









While the duchess was seen chatting to the stallholder, William seemed keen to dive straight into the drink, and was snapped tasting it


After the kickabout, the royal couples then quenched their thirst, supping on beer from a stall at the event

The video clips shows Prince William appear to gently tap his wife on the arm, saying: 'It's time to go'.
