南ウェールズを日帰り訪問。

エリアは違えど
お二人にとって

新婚生活スタートの場所であり、
初めて親となられたときに過ごされた場所と
とても思い入れのある地。

Wales is a very special place for the Cambridges. 
They shared their first home together - a four-bedroom rented farmhouse - on the Isle for three years while William worked as a Search and Rescue pilot. 
Months after the royal wedding Kate said: "I love our life in Anglesey. It's just nice to be outdoors and away from the city. As much as I love London, it's nice to get away". 
When the couple left William said they would return "again and again".

地元のアイスクリーム屋さん

アイスクリームの試食や
地元のママさん＆子供達とお会いに。
幼少期についての議論も。

その後、店を出たところで
キャサリン妃にとってサプライズな出来事が！

沿道に集まった人たちの中に
キャサリン妃の
プレスクール：Stアンドルーズ時代の
先生2人と再会！

キャサリン妃のみならず
ミドルトン家のご兄弟
皆さんが教わったそう

再会は、どうやら
24年ぶりだとか。。

その後
ポート・タルボットへ。

インドを本部に置く
世界最大級の製鉄所

実は、昨年

欧州全体で3000人の大幅人員削減が発表され、
大きな話題に。
英国内でも1000人が職を失うこととなる深刻な影響。

それを受けての訪問でしょう。

スティール工場を視察され
その際、当然とはいえ

ヘルメット＆防護メガネ着用

最後の訪問先は、
”ブルドッグズ・ボクシング・クラブ”

ボクシングを使い

子供達のメンタルヘルスの発達をサポート。

ここで支援を受けている子供達とお会いになったり、
一緒にアクティビティにも参加。

ウィリアム王子は、どうやら、
ボクシングに挑戦したい、のかも？

とにかくラブラブ全開のお二人

終始笑顔

「シャーロット王女がいちばんのお気に入り」
と話した、沿道の女性に対し

The Queen has been patron of the RNLI since 1952. They were introduced to a number of volunteers and Paul O’Dwyer who was saved by the RNLI after his boat lost power out at sea. They discussed the mental health of the crew and the importance of talking to each other. They also presented volunteer James Bolter with a ’20 Years of Service’ award.

Lifeboat crews at The Mumbles have been saving lives for over 180 years.

Despite her chic styling, Kate still apologized to one royal fan, 3-year-old Annabel, about her outfit today. 

“I said to her that Annabel was really excited to meet a real princess,” Annabel’s mother, Dr. Rhian Costello, told People. “

Annabel then said that she thought she’d look like Cinderella.”

'Though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the first years of their married life in North Wales, they asked the children to help polish their language skills. “She asked the children to teach her some Welsh words,” Rosaria Burke, 25, says. “They said hello and ‘nos da’ for goodnight.”

William, on the other hand, had already mastered “good morning” — saying “bore da” — the only problem being that it was already afternoon. When one woman taught him “prynhawn da” for good afternoon, he repeated it and added, “But you guys have probably been here since morning. "I said 'do you realise how many parents you have saved at bedtime?' he said

Kevin Allford and Denise Evans-Allford, who taught Kate, Pippa and James Middleton at St Andrew's prep school in Pangbourne, Berkshire, travelled from their home in Carmathenshire in the hope of seeing their former pupil on her visit to Mumbles. 

Kate, 38, and her husband Prince William were guided over to Mr Allford and Mrs Evans-Allford after the couple passed a note to the royals' security detail explaining the connection. 

Kevin was a sports, French and German teacher at first and Denise taught the junior children until they both later became house parents. It was the first time they had seen Kate in 24 years

had a very special reunion when she noticed two of her primary school teachers Denise Evans-Alford and Kevin Alford in the crowd

'Kate attended St Andrew's prep school in Pangbourne, Berkshire, along with her siblings Pippa and James Middleton, until she was 13. Mrs Evans-Alford was her netball coach while Mr Alford taught French and German. The Duchess, who had not seen her tutors for 20 years, told them: "I want to instil in my children what I learned at St Andrews."

After the reunion, Mrs Evans-Alford said: “Kate hasn’t changed at all, you can tell, Pippa and James are wonderful too. I’ve been waiting 20 years for this." Mr Alford said: "We saw her once when she came back to school, when she was 14, and we haven't seen her since. Obviously, we've been following her career. She was in such a wonderful class of girls and they got on so well together."

Kate's glittering career at St Andrew's school

Kate Middleton, 38, has previously spoken of 'adoring' her time at St Andrew's School in Pangbourne 

Kate attended St Andrew's in Pangbourne, Berkshire, between the ages of 4 and 13, from 1986 to 1995. She was taught by Kevin Alford and Denise Evans-Alford, who travelled to reunite with their former pupil today.

Kate has spoken of how much she adored her time at the £16,950-a-year school during a visit in 2012.  

Opening a new hockey pitch, she  described her time at St Andrew's as some of the 'happiest years of my life.'‪ 

Kate was something of a star pupil at the exclusive establishment, just a short drive from her home in Bucklebury, where she won awards for both sport and music. 

According to one fellow pupil, Kate thrived in the school's close-knit, family atmosphere. As well as her success with the Under 12/13 hockey team, she played goal defence for the Under 13 Netball team during one of its most successful ever seasons. 

There was also the Under 12/13 rounders team for which Kate - listed under her full name Catherine Middleton - was named the highest scorer of the season.

She was also a keen swimmer and athlete. On sports day she won the Under 12/13 200m in 31.24 seconds and set records in both the long jump and high jump of 4.14metres and 1.39 metres respectively.

On prize giving day, her prowess was rewarded with the Calvert Cup for rounders and the Leslie Cup for outstanding overall sporting achievement for a girl.

Kate was on the rounders team, of which Denise Evans-Alford was captain (pictured bottom left) 

The Duchess was a sporty school-girl and was on several of the school's teams, including rounders, netball and hockey (pictured with the hockey team) 

Musically, Kate also proved to be extremely gifted - a talent she has so far managed to hide from public view.

She was a member of St Andrew's inaugural Chamber Orchestra and of the senior flute group - amusingly known as the Tootie-Flooties - along with her younger sister, Pippa. Friends say she was also deputy head chorister in the chapel choir and was once commended in a BBC carol competition.

Shortly before she left the school, she also passed her Associated Board Grade 111 flute examination with merit and also her Grade 1V and V singing.

The Duchess of Cambridge returned to the school in November 2012 to mark St Andrew's Day, where she took part in a game of hockey

The Bulldogs is a partnership between Bulldogs Boxing & Community Activities and Port Talbot Amateur Boxing, which helps to support young people in the community who may have been affected by adverse childhood experiences and mental health issues, and gives them a sense of belonging through fitness and boxing.

The Palace said the visit was organised to coincide with Children's Mental Health Week

This year's theme is Find Your Brave

'For many children today, the world can feel a scary and daunting place. While we might not always feel brave inside, even the smallest act - such as sharing a worry or asking for help - can be incredibly courageous. Helping children to feel confident about seeking support can have a transformational impact on their lives.

Being able to try new things and push ourselves outside of our comfort zone are important skills that can build children’s resilience and self-esteem. Learning these skills early in life can give children tools to cope with future challenges they may face in adulthood.

I am therefore so pleased to once again support Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week, which is this year focused on bravery. Through all my interactions with the charity, I’m proud to have seen how its work is helping children, young people and adults to be more confident in looking after their mental health, but there is still much more to do.  The first step is talking about it, and recently I’ve launched a UK-wide survey on the under-fives in an attempt to get people to do just that.  Our long-term ambition is to bring about positive, lasting change for generations to come. 

I’d love schools and families across the country to take part in the week to help children and young people to ‘find their brave’.
